The hotel was exactly what I required. The room was clean with all necessary amenities. The location gave me easy access to Bell Expo Center. Check in / Checkout couldn't have been easier. The breakfast was simple but more than adequate. The breakfast area was kept neat and clean.

Das Hotel ist älter, aber unglaublich sauber - solange wir in unserem Zimmer geprüft haben, konnten mein Mann und ich die Sauberkeit stinken! Aber es war das Personal, das unglaublich war, speziell Tina und der Nachtmanager. Zunächst traf Tina uns am Vordertisch und erlaubte uns, etwas früh zu prüfen, damit wir bereit für die Hochzeitsreparatur unseres Sohnes sein können. Wir kamen in der Nacht zurück und hatten keine Waschkleidung, aber der Nachtmanager gewaschen und trocknete einige und brachte sie ins Zimmer. Am nächsten Tag war Tina freundlich genug, um unsere Notwendigkeit für einen späten Auscheck zu befriedigen, um für die eigentliche Hochzeit bereit zu sein. Die Gastfreundschaft des Personals war unglaublich und wird unsere Rückkehr veranlassen! Noch einmal, nicht die meisten Palastwohnungen, sondern ein angenehmer, freundlicher Ort, um unsere Kopfe zu legen!

We were a little disappointed that the Travel lodge didn't offer a AAA or AARP. Discount. The vending and ice machines were broken. A complimentary canned drink or bottle of water would've been a nice gesture considering that the price included breakfast which wasn't available due to covid. And we were surprised that the desk clerk wasn't masked. Would make another choice of accommodations next time.

Older facility. Rooms newly updated in last 2 years. Think under new management because we have stayed here for many years and last 2 it has been cleaner and more welcoming. Easy off and on freeway. Clean. Restaurants nearby, both chain and local. Quiet despite being next to interstate highway. Appears a lot work crews stay there, but not an issue. Breakfast is ok with some hot and cold items - nothing to get excited about, but sufficient to get the day started.

There is always something to do in Temple. Explore Central Texas history and ride antique handcarts at the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum tee off at Sammons Golf Course or catch an authentic Texas rodeo. The Miller Springs Nature Center and Texas Brazos Trail are great spots to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Central Texas. You can also cool off at Summer Fun Water Park or visit Belton Lake for a relaxing day of bass fishing. Head downtown for craft beers or grab a bite at local restaurants serving authentic Texas eats.

This was our second stay at this location. We first stayed in 2016 on the way to Galveston and we stayed this time doing the same trip. This hotel still holds up years later. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Lots of restaurants very close to the property so that's a definite bonus. Parking seemed safe. Most of the lot seems well lit. My only complaints: the rooms were a bit hot when we got there, and the pool was too cold. I know that seems small. It was very hot that day, and I know many hotels will have staff turn up room temp after cleaning to save money and energy, but it was warm in there. We turned down the temperature while we went to eat, and it was fine by the time we got back. Our girls got in the pool but didn't stay in for very long. They said the water was cold and if I remember from the previous trip the lights were on and it was bright. This time it wasn't. So, if those things are a deal breaker you might keep that in mind. Breakfast was standard free hotel breakfast fare, but it was hot and plenty of variety. My rating is based on cleanliness, customer service, and breakfast. But the pool situation, at least for us with kids, wasn't the best.

Very nice , very quiet,excellent service, breakfast was also very good , Supper was easy too, Texas Roadhouse across the parking lot, location was very easy to everything we needed , I enjoyed our stay very much and just thank the whole staff , very clean and well maintained
