Gut gelegen 197 Zimmer Hotel in der Nähe des Einkaufszentrums und des Flusses auch neben der Busbahnhof, obwohl 20 Minuten zu Fuß von den Zügen entfernt. Komfortable Zimmer mit Fenstern, die offen, aber A/C wenn nötig. Wir verbrachten hier zwei Nächte und der Zimmerpreis umfasste Frühstück. Ein Zeichen am Eingang zum Frühstücksraum scheint früh (7.00-8.00 Uhr) zu kommen, wenn die Zahlen niedrig wären, mit anderen Worten ruhig, aber bei 7.15 es war bereits unmöglich besetzt und mit Tische zusammengestellt Kantenstil, Es gab wenig Platz für ein entspanntes Essen, da jeder zusammen verpackt war. Es wäre schwer zu erkennen, was es dann wie die „beschäftigte“ Zeit zu tun wäre. Meine Erfahrung war während meines Aufenthalts angenehm. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, direkt am Stadthalle Platz. Das Zimmer war relativ sauber mit neuen Einrichtungen, obwohl es kein Königsgröße Bett gab und wir mussten zwei Betten zusammensetzen. Das Frühstück ist es wert, mit Pancake, die ich wirklich gefällt, und sehr guter Joghurt zu erwähnen. Es wäre eine fast perfekte Erfahrung gewesen, aber etwas Unglaubliches passierte, als ich auscheckte. Ich habe wegen der großen Menge an Gepäck einen Handtasche im Zimmer verpasst. Ich ging zwei Stunden später zurück zum Hotel, um nachzufragen, und es wurde gesagt, dass ”nichts außer RUBBISH im Zimmer verlassen wurde”, was ich schockiert hörte, da der Beutel mindestens eine ganze Zigarette beinhaltete. (die mein Freund mir beauftragt hatte, von einem chinesischen Zoll-Freihandel zu kaufen), eine ganze Box aus chinesischen Tee, eine Tasche aus teuer chinesischer Heißbeutel Basis, einige Schokolade und andere Artikel! . Ich habe die Polizei nicht aus Zeitgründen angerufen, aber ich habe hier beschlossen, diese Tatsache zu veröffentlichen, die ich für jeden Hotel schäme.

Sehr schönes Hotel mitten in der Altstadt. Stilvolle Möbel und Gegenstände. Grosse Zimmer, grosses Bad. Jedoch sind nicht alle Zimmer mit dem Lift erreichbar. Wenn man schweres Gepäck dabei hat, ist es wichtig, dass dies solche Zimmer als ”nur über Treppen erreichbar” gekennzeichnet werden. Das angrenzende Restaurant ist sehr gut. Als Hotelgast bekommt man 10% Rabatt, nur: ich wurde danach vom Kellner nicht gefragt und an der Rezeption darauf nicht aufmerksam gemacht. Ansonsten ein Top-Hotel.

One night in this new hotel was a very positive experience. The place is attached to a large shopping mall with it's own entrance from the shopping area. Hotel Sophia is located some 4km from the Tartu city center but easily accessible with taxi or car. Parking is available in the hundreds. We were particularly impressed with the stylish and modern interior design of the public areas as well as the room itself which had plenty of space and amenities. Moreover the efficiency of the housekeeping needs a special compliment as all spaces were spotless and extremely clean. This is rare so hopefully the hotel keeps it this way. Kind service overall left us very impressed and we can warmly recommend this place.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting a conference in Tartu. Hotel is recently renovated at very central location next to theatres, Kaubamaja and with a good walking distance to Tartu University or Old Town. Rooms and corridors look fresh, view over the park is nice and breakfast at restaurant Humal was good experience with very efficient staff, good food variety and quality. You could borrow iron and ironing board from the reception and cold fridce in the room was bonus. Unfortunately there were also some issues in the room that I did'n t like: 1) The noise from the street makes you awake at night 2) The airconditioning was shut down for some reason? - there was a hatch on the wall that you could open but... 3) There was a place for coffee machine and kettle but either they haven't been placed or they have been taken away due to covid or... 4) There was no way to contact reception - if you didn't want to walk downstairs. Stay higher floor and maybe choose to look backyard if you mind noise during the night
