Das Hotel braucht dringende Reformen. Nicht alles ist gut. Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr niedrigen Qualitätsprodukten. Schreckliche Saft, Kaffee und warme. Gute Lage. Gute Aufmerksamkeit auf der Rezeption. Während des Frühstücks, allgemeine Personalausweichung. Zimmer mit sehr alten Möbeln.

The beautiful old buildings that make up the hotel are in the most picture perfect village of Altafulla and our expectations were v high for our little Spa Break. First Impressions : our suite was basic, lacking in any personality or chic soft furnishing touches. It felt very cold, clinical and like an unloved basic air b n b not a supposed 4 star historic hotel. The living area was also super dark, no real amenities in the bathroom besides nailed to the wall shower gel / shampoo. No luxe touches at all, no mini bar, coffee maker… nothing that I’ve come to expect from a European 4 star hotel. The lovely Italian male receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful tho he moved us almost immediately and continued to help us throughout our stay despite our issues so 5 stars for him. The housekeeping staff was also lovely and our waitress in the super fancy resto. Here are the list of issues that the hotel need to address: - Sinks are still shallow the water just splashes back at you. V much style over practicality - only 1 bathmat in a room for 2 people - grill in shower came off and moved around - no rug , no paintings/ photos/ no coffee machine or kettle / no mini bar - no room service - no tissues / cotton buds / body lotion / conditioner - safe was not working I had reserved spa slots and massages n advance but when we arrived the Spa is NOT a spa it’s a tiny facility with a v small jacuzzi type pool big enough for 4 people and another tiny plunge pool all in a very confined space which feels claustrophobic with more than 2 or 3 people in. The sauna is tiny as is the steam room which was not even working. Never mind we thought we will brave the cold and go for a lovely outdoor swim … another reason we choose this hotel as according to the website the pool would be open, it was not ! It was being dosed with chlorine and we were not allowed in. The spa had double booked our massages and in fact they could only accommodate one of us the following day and the therapist was one hour late as her car had broken down and when she did arrive made no apology, made my friend wait until she’d had a coffee and then administered a very poor massage with next to no pressure despite being asked several times to go harder. She didn’t ask any health questions about allergies or injuries …. Shockingly poor ! The dinner at the restaurant was v good if a little fancier that what we fancied but the pizza resto wasn’t open. The lighting in the restaurant v bright and lacking ambience as a result. The winery trip was interesting and the village is fabulous with a couple of great bars and restos and an amazing deli. It’s a shame about the hotel as it could be spectacular if the management spent some money on some tweaks that would make a world of difference to the guest experience. A good interior designer could help to warm up and personalise the gorgeous old buildings

I stayed here for two weeks for a university program. As I was there for a while it's easiest to do a bulleted list of pros/cons: Pros: * Location: Directly on Plaça de la Font, so if you're someone who wants to be right next to restaurants, bars, clubs and shops this is for you; also close to the Cathedral, the old town and the Roman ruins (amphitheater, circus, forum); a short walk from Platja del Miracle, a clean, lifeguarded beach where I was always able to find good space no matter the day or time. * I had a double room at the back of the property, whose window faced onto another flat but with a small terrace between us. Thus it was quiet and got direct sunlight most of the day. The room had an AC unit that cooled the room quickly, and also had decent shelf and hanger space given the room size (small, but that's typical of European hotel rooms, especially in old buildings). * The room was cleaned every day—towels changed every day, sheets changed every few days. Post-COVID I've come to expect the opposite—that hotel rooms will only be cleaned once a week or upon request—so that was a pleasant surprise. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. Cons: * Automated check-in—by far the biggest con. The hostel didn't send our trip coordinator, who wasn't in-country, the access code to the front door, though it was supposed to have been sent 24h before. So I arrived, the first in my group to get there, not realizing this would be needed. Eventually after waiting outside for some time another guest happened to be going inside, and let me in. The machine was wonky at first but eventually worked, at least for me; other guests checking in at the same time as the later arrivals in my group, however, had worse luck, and I'm not sure if they were ever able to reach a Forum rep to access their rooms. * No on-site staff, poorly-manned hostel phone line—we had a situation in our group later that week where a group member forgot their key in their room on their way to dinner, and ended up having to sleep in the small lobby area overnight as nobody from the Forum number provided was picking up the phone. The pin number the automated machine was requesting in order to issue a new key had never been sent to our group coordinator either, hence why the group member was never able to get a new key issued from the machine. * Other people in my university group had single rooms in the center of the property. Thus they did not ever have direct sunlight; their rooms either faced a wall or a disused lift shaft at the center of the property. This is just something for people to be aware of when they're making the bookings; the room photos on the site are not representative of most of the rooms of the property. * Accessibility: there is no lift/elevator, and it is a four-story property with steep flights of stairs between floors. If anyone in your party is disabled or otherwise has mobility or fitness issues, or if you simply have a lot of luggage,

Hotel was in a great location, close to the beach, train station and lots of cafes/shops / restaurants. Everything was walkable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful - eventhough we speak very limited spanish. Pastries and bottled water were provided each morning and there were tea and coffee facilities in the lobby. The hotel air conditioning was really strong, we never felt too hot overnight and the room was very clean and well presented!

Die Zimmer sind klein. Papier dünne Wände. Keine Badezimmertür. Nur eine schwingende Glastür. Alles, was im Badezimmer passiert, wird im gesamten Zimmer gehört. Keine im Zimmer Kaffee. Wenn Sie zur AC Marriott-Levels des Services verwendet werden, werden Sie hier enttäuscht. Wir reservierten ein Familienzimmer für unsere Familie von drei. Wir baten um einen höheren Stock mit Blick. Wir erhielten eine Bestätigung, dass das Hotel alles tun würde, was sie für unsere Anfrage tun könnten. Das Zimmer, das sie uns gegeben haben, war innerlich mit Blick auf eine Brickwand und es war so klein, dass die drei von uns kaum auf der gleichen Zeit standen konnten, und kein Platz nur auf dem Bett. Als ich sie gefragt habe, um unsere Anfrage zu befriedigen, sagten sie mir, dass die Leute, die auf spezifische Anfragen antworten, keine Ahnung, welche Arten von Zimmern im Hotel verfügbar sind. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Ich bat um Eis in unser Zimmer und 15 Minuten später, während ich im Lobby wartete, erhielt ich ein wenig mit acht Kuben Eis und wurde gesagt, die Gebühr würde ein Euro für das Eis sein. Es gab keinen Manager auf der Pflicht. Das Hotel ist für einzelne Geschäftsreisende, nicht Familien. Das ist wahr. Wir mussten ein zusätzliches Zimmer zu einem vollen Preis kaufen, um unseren Sohn zu beherbergen. Das Familienzimmer ist nicht groß genug, um drei Personen komfortabel zu beherbergen. Wir werden nicht wieder hier bleiben und werden sehr zögern, über die Buchung von Unterkünften mit AC Marriott wieder zu buchen...

Am Montag, den 7. März, waren wir in diesem Hotel mit meiner Familie untergebracht und hatten einen Einfluss auf das Bad, weil es völlig gebunden war, mit allem, was das mit Kindern verbunden hat. Mit dem Verschlimmern, dass es fast früh war (7 Uhr morgens) , die 2 Mitarbeiter, die uns betreut haben, haben es in 10 Minuten magistral gelöst. Die Empfangsmaster gab uns schnell eine Karte des angrenzenden Zimmers, die leer war, wenn wir ins Bad eintreten müssten, am Ende war es nicht notwendig, sie zu benutzen, aber da ist die Details. Und die Reinigungsperson in 5 Minuten hat den Anschlag gelöst. Vielen Dank für die Hilfe, die diese Menschen, die am Montag, den 7. März um 7 Uhr morgens war, so dass der Direktor weiß, wer sie waren und ihnen unsere Dankbarkeit übermitteln.

Das Hotel liegt zwischen Taragon und Salo, sehr nahe dem Abenteuerpark im Haupthafen und dem Ferrari-Themapark, und fahren fünf Minuten. Es gibt eine schöne Umgebung und einen komfortabelen Schlaf. Unterhalb von vielen Spezialrestaurants.

Die Bewertungen für diese Unterkunft sind sehr unterschiedlich und das muss teilweise auf eine so vielfältige Anzahl von Unterkünften im Hotel Gold River komplex zurückzuführen sein. Wir hatten hier das höchste Hotel in der Kategorie Mansion De Lucy gehabt und waren unsicher, wie Gold River vergleichen würde, es war sehr günstig. Eine Sorge, die wir hatten, war, dass die Fast Pass-Optionen für Fahrten nicht mehr für die Dauer des Aufenthalts gewährt wurden und stattdessen im Allgemeinen erschien es wenig Vorteile, auf dem Resort zu bleiben, aber wir fanden heraus, dass bestimmte Fast Passe, die enthalten Ein einziges Fahren auf jeder der Hauptattraktionen sind gültig für die Nutzung über 2 aufeinanderfolgende Tage, es ist gut wert, auf die erste Zeile Ergänzung, die nur 5 Euro ist. Dies neben einem Seasme Adventure-Fast Pass von 7 Euro bedeutete es 50 Euro für jedes für 2 Tage garantiert Reiten. Also für unseren 5-Nacht-Aufenthalt haben wir für diesen am 2. und 3. Tag, und dann unsere 5. und 6. letzten Tag gewählt. Ferrari Land ist noch für 1 Besuch pro Aufenthalt enthalten und wir haben auch für den schnellen Pass dort auch 23 Euro gewählt, da wir erwarteten, dass es beschäftigt, da es ungewöhnlich am Abend nach dem Schließen von PortAventura geöffnet war. Wir haben ein komplettes Board-Paket mit Jet 2 gewählt und das machte unsere Ausgaben auf dem Resort gehen so weit wir fanden, dass das 3 Kurs Mittagessen, das in vielen schnellen Service Restaurants genommen werden könnte, war ausreichend, um zu teilen, so dass wir oft unsere Mittagessen in den Park-up, die auch ein Getränk (Bar eine 1 Euro Reusable Tasse) Nahrungsmittelqualität war hervorragend, arbeitet für etwa £16.50 für 3 Kurse einschließlich ein Getränk, wenn Sie nicht volles Board so großer Wert, Denken Sie an Pasta Bolognese zu starten, Hühnerdipper und frische Fruchtsalat für Dessert und ein Getränk. Ich hatte vor unserem Besuch mit dem Hotel in Kontakt gekommen und gebeten, unsere schnellen Passe zusammen mit einigen Blumen und Cava neben einem Antrag auf ein Zimmer im Hauptstadthalle hinzuzufügen, sie waren extrem effizient und hilfreich bei der Organisation dieses und bei der Ankunft Alles war umgesehen worden, einschließlich des beantragten Zimmers in der City Hall mit den erstaunlichsten Aussichten sowohl auf Parks als auch auf das Meer. Ich möchte wissen, wie viel Disney versucht und ausführt von Ihnen für diese Aussicht. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und täglich mit einem schönen, tiefen Bad, ziemlich laut um 10 Uhr, was scheint die beliebtesten Zeit für Gäste zu essen, aber um Mitternacht sehr ruhig. Ich hatte Bedenken über die Buchungen für das Restaurant, da andere kommentierten, dass Sie eine 40-minütige Zeitgrenze für das Frühstück und eine Stunde für das Abendessen für ein paar haben, das war gut, aber eine große Familie könnte kämpfen. Wir fanden in den letzten 2 Nächten heraus, dass Wasser noch am Abendessen erfreulich war. Bei Frühstück und Abendessen gab es die wunderschönste Brotstation, die eine sehr große Auswahl an unterschiedlichem Brot hatte und in den Morgengrasen. Das Essen war gut oben und laden kf Wahl für Starter und Desserts, ein wenig weniger für die Hauptkurse und wenn nichts wir fand, wir aus den Kinderoptionen, die schneller Essen sind. This was a tough one between 3 and 4 in review, the hotel itself is great rooms cleaned daily, no fighting for sunbeds ( more due to time of year) but you could easily get sunbed at 11 am. The pool bar was great, food from snack bar was good, example €3.75 for chips, 12” pizza €9.95 and beer €3.70, staff were excellent and always friendly, we lost water one night in hotel room, was off for around 18 hours so no showers for a while, gave us a 1.5l bottle of water lol, but don’t think this was hotels fault. The two sort of let downs for us were 1st the restaurant food, breakfast typical Spanish with their usual version of English breakie, no issues there, but the evening meal was very hit and miss, there was loads on offer but alit did not seem to go, one night they did potatoes, scrambled eggs and eels all mixed together, they also did potatoes waffles with ham and cheese on topped off with a fried egg, I thought that was quiet nice, wife not so lol. Anyway there was a lack of children’s selection, not an issue for us but only chicken nuggets on a few times but always chips, might be an issue if you’ve fuzzy eaters with you. They still had a great salad bar with the typical selection on meats and cheeses, and I thought the deserts were excellent too, although one did look like a bush tucker trail, the chef really thinks outside the box lol. 2nd issue was the location of hotel, it’s a 10 to 15 min stroll to nearest shops, and bars, so for us not ideal, but may suit others, about the same distance to Port Ventura theme park, it will cost you about €10 for a taxi to seafront if they easier. Oh aircon in room not the best either, it never really cold, sometimes you want this when it’s been so hot outside, entertainment on a night was ok too, we would some times watch it from our balcony, kids disco every night too. So for us would we use again, I would say no, but mainly due to location of hotel, not because of hotel itself because it is a beautiful hotel

In general the hotel was nice, we arrived and it was quiet. We visited the spa which was nice and the hotel is in a great location (about a 5 minute walk from the beach front) and 25 minutes from the theme park. Food- the food in the restaurant was decent but quite repetitive. However, having said that there was always something to eat. The only downside here at the restaurant was the waiters took a long time to ask us what drinks we wanted, sometimes we would be half way through before being approached. Also, there should be a snack bar by the pool which is open to all inclusive guests however this wasn’t open at all during our stay which was disappointing as we liked to go for walks, so if we missed lunch we had to wait until 7.30 for dinner. Bar - the two male servers were brilliant. Very attentive, friendly and quick. There is a good selection of local spirits however, I was on the all inclusive and when I asked there was only one cocktail available plus sangria, there are more available but you have to pay. The only downside was I had an issue which I raised with reception who maybe through a language barrier didn’t really acknowledge. I have been here before, 8 years ago and the hotel itself has drastically improved. It does feel very spa like with the music and decor. The only issue we had was on our last night there must have been a late arrival and we could hear everything in the corridor and above which meant we couldn’t sleep until 4pm.
