Very good hotel to stay. Nice location near to Golden Temple. Good food!! Very friendly staff! Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Der Service war sehr gut, obwohl der Sikh-Vorarbeiter an der Rezeption etwas wortkarg war, aber als wir in der ersten Nacht spät im Hotel ankamen, war das Geräusch der Klimaanlage im Zimmer zu laut (die Hotelausstattung ist wirklich veraltet) , und ich änderte es schnell, nachdem ich Zimmer vorgeschlagen hatte. Es gibt nicht viele Arten von Frühstück, die in Indien im Allgemeinen gleich sind. Sie können nicht zu hohe Anforderungen haben, um voll zu sein. Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas voreingenommen, es gibt keine kleinen Geschäfte in der Nähe, mein Mann ging etwa 20 Minuten lang Wasser, um Wasser zu kaufen. Die Fahrt mit TUTU zum Goldenen Tempel kostet etwa 50-100 Rubel, was billiger ist. Ausstattung, Bettzeug ist echt alt, Hygiene ist noch sehr sauber. Wenn ich nicht an dem Tag, an dem ich auscheckte, versehentlich bemerkt hätte, dass am Ende der Decke ein Fleck ungewaschenes Öl war, hätte ich eine hohe Punktzahl geben sollen, aber es war wirklich unangenehm und ich fand es nach dem Schlafen drei Tage lang.

We arrived at Amritsar the day before the Parkash Parab, which led to difficulty in reaching the hotel. Staff helped us at every step, starting with dealing with a recalcitrant taxi-cab driver, to helping us with our luggage and even the less mobile among us across jam-packed streets. The rooms are well furnished and clean, the washrooms are, too. Rooms are centrally air-conditioned and hot water is available round the clock. The greatest advantage of the property is its location just outside the Golden Temple complex and takes you all of three minutes to reach the inner courtyard. Positives: Location, cleanliness, very helpful staff. On the downside: Small rooms, all rooms don't have view, no kitchen or dining room — food is brought to you from outside, so it takes a long time to reach.

We had done advance booking and made the full payment ,after reading the reviews of this hotel. I had booked another hotel initially but the reviews of this hotel Karan residency was better comparatively so cancelled the previous hotel booking, but I experience of the hotel was nightmarish, become of one Mr Gurpreet Singh, who gave us a horrible experience ever. From the time we reached hotel,he was outrightly rude and discourteous . The language was so dis respectful that I regretted cancelling my previous hotel booking. I think the reviews are either fake or paid reviews jus to fool people.. One of the experience was so bad that I am wondering how are they running hospitality industry !!! On Sunday night, I ordered for dinner ,room service at 10 pm, the food didn't arrive till 10:45 pm. When I called at the reception, to enquire, thos same Mr Gurpreet says that ”I assumed that you people would have slept so I did not send it upstairs”!!! I said,why would we go to off to sleep when we have ordered the food ? He said , when I called on the room,there was no response. I said there was no call made , he said that I jus assumed that I would have gone to sleep. By the time the food was delivered, it had turn out to b totally cold. There were many such experiences about his language,attitude and service!!!! In my opinion , this Mr Gurpreet needs some serious hospitality lessons to deal with his guests. I would not recommend this hotel unless the attitude improves and maintaining the respect of your guests is learnt. The rooms are jus OKAY !!! The hotel doesn't have their own restaurant. If you need hot water for drinking in kettle, since it was very very cold there ,they did not provide it. Please don't expect anything from this hotel. Only the cleaning staff,who are all ladies, did a good job in cleaning the room .
