"Ich kann nicht genug gute Dinge über dieses Hotel, die Lage und das Personal sagen. Meine Familie und ich liebten jede Minute. Nachdem wir hier verlassen, gingen wir zu (was als) ein extrem hohes Hotel am Wasser. Diese Dschungelhacienda war viel friedlicher, einladender und "resonabel" (das ist relative). Ich würde gern hier zurückkommen!!"

"This was a real find, high up a hill overlooking Tarcoles. From the quiet, private location, to the modern, well-furnished rooms (mine had a jetted tub), to the Starlink Internet, this was far more than I had expected. You enter a gated community just across from the south end of the main street of Tarcoles and climb a paved hill that would make San Francisco envious. Once you are almost at the top, it is off the right, with a small sign “Villa Azul El Complejo.” There is no reception area, just casitas, which were all clean and ready with keys in the door lock, though you won’t know which one you rented. Be wary of the fact there is nowhere in easy walking distance to eat. This is a gated community, so bring your own food and drink with (and there is a full kitchen to work with and room to eat). If you choose to venture out, there are several tiendas 2K away in Tarcoles, a great soda called “Delicias Ardis” for takeout or roadside dining, and a wonderful roadhouse known as Vista Del Mar 1K south. The owners were nice and responsive over WhatsApp. Overall, it was all good that after one night I had to add another (and a cash discount on an already good rate). I’ve attached several photos of the nearby Tarcoles and Pogeres beaches (the latter just across from Vista Del Mar), to both give you an idea of what you’re in for and how to identify the place once you head up the hill. I cannot say enough about the place or post enough photos!"
