Grupotel Monte Feliz

My Partner and I went on the second till the 9th and had the best time ever!! We booked one the apartments and it was amazing everything you needed and a lovely little outside bit to sit at the table for breakfast. Lovely swimming pool too. From the hotel you had a supermarket or two , places to eat down the road and Buses that ran constantly,so easy to visit other places like Puerto Rico, Maspalomas and so on. Reception staff where so lovely and a massive thank you to the cleaners . Would definitely book with monte feliz again 🤩

Had a great weeks holiday with daughter a granddaughter and definitely recommend holidaying at this time of year. Hot enough for us and weren’t hiding from silly temperatures. Judging by number of sunbeds pilled up I think it wouldn’t have be as enjoyable in peak season. Local restaurants were full most nights and this was off season. We hadn’t booked a transfer as showing 48 mins for a 15 min direct journey so opted for a taxi 38 Euros. Driver clueless about car seats and after 10 mins worries we got something resembling a suitable car seat albeit no where near a standard acceptable in this country, booster seat only option on way back only because public bus no 66 was full and drove past us ! In hindsight will book a transfer purely for child safety. Reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful throughout stay. Were fortunate enough to get in our room early and helpful when lost our room pass. 2 bedrooms with pool view first floor. Decent standard and clean. Will get ants if leave any sweet stuff on bunker, tiny ones, but just leave surfaces and clean and no issues for us. Great view of pool and good for sitting out in evenings. Not a party hotel and busy with couples and familes, no noise at night. Bar closes early about 9 and if wanting the British bar type of foreign holiday you'll need to go to another resort. A wee bit noisy early morning with staff/ pool cleaning but otherwise no complaints. Rooms made up if you want 3 times a week. Temps between 20 and 28 degrees and slept fine in room with window closed. There was an air conditioning unit in the room which wasn’t needed and don’t know if could switch on or comment on when available. This complex was bigger than expected and you could have an apartment that doesn’t get any direct sun, but that might not be a problem for summer. We got sun lunch time onwards. We ate out every night. Microwave and hob, no oven, which I think is normal but surprised me so no easy pizza meals etc Restaurant - glad we didn’t opt for breakfast in package. Breakfast is available for 9 euros if wanted and we went twice. Good continental selection but didn’t rate the English option (could have been hotter/ quality) Enjoyed our breakfast on balcony other days. Tried takeaway food pizza/ fish chips (processed fish yuck) etc Apart from chips or sandwiches etc didn’t rate it. Pool was great for us and 2 year old. Closed at 6 and lifeguard. Big bonus was that it was heated, late November. Great children's pool and splash pool at side of hotel. No issues getting sun bed, plenty piled at side if needed. Complex seemed busy but no idea if anywhere near capacity. May be different peak season. Complex was immaculate with loads of staff cleaning, maintaining. Location is at top of a hill, not an issue unless got mobility issue. Quite enjoyed the walk to/ from the square which has 5 restaurants and nice setting for a meal. All pretty similar in menus, was missing a traditional Spanish type restaurant spec

We've just come back from Monte Feliz. The room was a little basic but had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our Aircon was not working when we arrived but when we said it to the reception it was fixed within the hour. Maintenance staff worked hard every morning and kept the grounds clean and tidy. Shop had all the basics and there is small supermarkets within 10 min walk with everything you need. Pool was clean and lifeguard there anytime we swam. Al in all a lovely stay in a friendly place and we will probably be back next year.

We have just returned from a weeks stay. The apartment was simple but everything we needed was available, cleaning ladies did an excellent job every other day. Air conditioning to living room which was appreciated. 5 of us stayed in the apartment and there was plenty of room. Bathroom was a good size and plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Poolside bar/restaraunt served really good food at a really good price. We paid for a weeks worth of breakfast once we arrived and it was superb value. The pool area was clean and plenty of space, gardens were lovely and well kept. We were very pleasantly surprised and would certainly return. Big thankyou to all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one!

Currently day 5 into a 7 day stay. So far so good. Weather has been nice every day with only a little haze once or twice. The hotel is nice with a decent sized pool which is not too cold for the time of the year. I hate cold water and have been in every day. The rooms are a little dated but are good enough for a nice cheap getaway. The room we had was a sea view and you can just see it but the view is nice regardless. It has a balcony with some outdoor furniture. The bathroom is ok and towels are provided along with some shampoo and hand wash. The amenities are ok. Free WiFi which is ok at best so would suggest topping up on the roaming before you leave the uk. There is a little arcade for the kids and a couple of pool tables and a mini golf just outside the hotel. The inside shop is excellent value with some other Spar type shops just a short walk away. The snack bar in the hotel is good. Great value with generous portions. €8 for a Spag Bol which could feed 2 for example. The drinks are reasonable although the cocktails are over priced and not very tasty at times. Depends who makes them (wait for the girls 😂). The beer is €3,50 and again good value but if you are not in the snack bar I would suggest just going to the hotel shop and getting some drinks from there for round the pool. There is not much going on in the evening and everything closes down around 10pm. They do show the football tho if you’re into that. The immediate local area is nice and has 4-5 restaurants but they’re very samey so if you want a bit of variety, head out further afield. We got the bus pretty much everyday and is really straightforward with the stop just a 2 minute walk. Playa del Inglés €5.80 for 4 each way. Off to the Waterpark today which we got at a reduced price from a stall by the local shops. Going to get the bus which is €4.40 return each. Overall a great cheap winter getaway and would definitely recommend.

+Pool area nice. The temperature in the pool was also just right. +Our balcony was facing the pool so there was sun almost all day long. +Room was quite nice. Everything fas functioning well. We had a two bedroom room. +The staff was friendly and helpful. +Breakfast recommended. Lots of options and even the kids liked it. +The weather was sunny and warm during the whole week we spend there. +Location was actually quite nice. A short walk to the bus stops and to shopping center. -Very quiet in the evenings. I would have like to seen maybe some live music at least couple of nights. -Pillows in the rooms were rubbish. And finally a word of warning! One morning about 50 meters from the hotel entrance next to the minigolf there was a pickpocket who stole my father's wallet. He was following my parents for a while and then started to show some coin and managed to take the wallet from the pocket. So although this is a very quiet area crime does exist even here. Be careful!

What a great hotel, we stayed here Feb 2023 and loved it so much we are going back this Feb. The hotel is excellent value for money, with a great pool and well kept gardens. The staff are fantastic and really friendly/helpful. There is a lovely little snack bar, and is great value for money. Also on site is a mini market that was very handy, but if you want more choice then the spar just down from the hotel is also good value. Some really great restaurants also just down from the hotel in a really lovely little square, also has some nice little shops and a great cocktail bar (Litibu) I would say the area is really beautiful, peaceful and not busy busy which is exactly what we wanted. Roll on Feb 24th when we return 😊
