Dar Lala Zhour

We stayed at Hicham and Hayeds (and their sweet little daughters) beautiful place for 3 nights and had an absolutely great time. They were friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the cooking class at the house and a tour the market nearby is also great fun. You can also do some hiking there - to the next village or to the mountain peak. Hope to be back some day:)

Comfort, relaxation, warm welcome, generosity, cleanliness, hygiene, family atmosphere, delicious local food, fresh spring water, , this is what you get when you pay a visit to Dar Lalla Zhour. The hosts (Hicham, his wife and new born baby Kenza) are just fantastic. We will definitely be calling soon

Easily the best airbnb I have stayed so far. House is on top of a mountain, there is a 5km offroad track leading up to the village, can be done by car. Location is quiet and has a spectacular view of the mountains. Was warmely welcomed with food and tea, and had a fantastic dinner. Would definetly reccomend a stay!

Nestled away in the hills, a small village, a small B&B, a lovely orchard, and a grand vista of the hills. Hosted by kind people with plates full of food for the hungry traveller. There's a cafe next door where the villagers get together at the end of the day to watch a game or play some cards.

Hicham and Hayat were excellent hosts and we enjoyed their company. All of our meals were taken care of and it was so lovely to experience Moroccan home cooking. We stayed there as part of the ceramic course. We slept well, everything was clean and we had a comfortable stay. The surroundings were tranquil and beautiful. Couldn’t recommend Dar Lala Zhour more!

I was glad to meet the owners, wery welcome friendly I wish they have good customers in future I recommend all their service. Views are stunning you can see panoramic mountain views, the local welcome tee was right in time on arrival. Thanks... Very nice.

I was received with warmth and care and was made to feel very comfortable and at home! It was lovely to feel so welcomed into such a remote and culturally ingrained place. Walking across the mountain to the next village to do pottery each day was a very special experience. The food was lovely and I especially loved eating it on the high up terrace. My sleep was deep and my belly always full. Not much more one can ask for. Thanks so much!

Hayat and Hicham are the most helpful and welcoming hosts . They accepted us as sisters into their beautiful family and treated us like queens. Very comfortable beds and delicious food . An amazing and unique experience experience in the Moroccan wilderness . Hicham is an interesting and amazing guide .

I had an amazing time. So welcoming, Hicham and his wife were great hosts and amazing food and lots of it for breakfast and dinner with them playing traditional music and instruments after. Hicham showed me around local markets, gorges and hikes around the mountains. Great place for sunset hike just above the house, did a traditional pottery and painting lesson with a local in nearby village. Went for a bike ride around the mountain. Great experience and beautiful people. I spent 1 week here and was very friendly and homely and left feeling like family.
