Das Hotel liegt super schön mit Blick auf das Meer und den Ätna. Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber und in einem eigenen Stil mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Frühstücksraum liegt ganz oben und bieten einen tollen Rundum-Blick über Taormina. Das Frühstück ist lecker und vielfältig. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen BeachClub direkt am Meer - das sind ca. 10-15 Min. per Auto - ein eigener Hotel-Shuttel fährt hin und wieder zurück. Die Anlage ist sehr schön mit Pool und schön angelegtem Garten. Das Hotel ist noch Inhaber-geführt. Den über 80 jährigen Senior-Chef haben wir beim schwimmen kennengelernt, der hier den Kontakt zu den Gästen sucht... Insgesamt sehr schönes Hotel - jederzeit wieder

Es fing schon beim Check in an als wir von der einen Dame mit gekraustem Haar und Brille ziemlich unhöflich und unprofessionell bedient wurden. wir dachten zunächst sie hätte einen schlechten Tag. jedoch mussten wir während unserem ganzen Aufenthalt feststellen das die vermutlich ein persönliches Problem hatte. Das restliche Personal was sehr freundlich. wie gesagt bis auf diese einte arrogante, welche denkt sie sei was besonders vermutlich nur weil sie angeblich 3 Sprachen spricht. english französisch und italienisch. jedoch verstand ich auf english kein Wort. ich wünsche Ihr trotzdem alles gute. Wir buchten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Jedoch hatten wir ein Gebäude vor dem Balkon. Als wir nachfragten sagte man uns das sei ein Problem von Booking. Das Zimmer wies mehrere Mängel auf welches für ein 4 Stern Hotel inakzeptabel ist. Der Türgriff löste sich dauernd von der Türe. Nach dem Duschen war der ganze Boden überschwemmt, da der Duschvorhang nicht zur Dusche passte. Der Boden beim Eingange wies Flecken auf, welche beim Anblick sehr eklig erschienen. die Lampe und die Ablagefläche waren schräg so das man sich nicht getraute etwas darauf zu stellen. der Rauchmelder war noch eingepackt. ich kann das nicht glauben. das Frühstück ist ein Witz. Man bezahlt für Eier Speisen und Orangensaft extra und das zu einem total überteuerten Preis. Der Esssaal ist gross jedoch war der Bereich wo man das Essen fassen kann so klein und der Standort so ungeeignet ausgewählt, das es jedes Mal eng wurde und das schon bei 4 Personen. ich will gar nicht wissen wie das dort aussieht wenn 10 oder mehr Menschen frühstücken wollen. der Pool war schön

Aufregend , nahe dem Hauptplatz Taormina , in einer privilegierten Position mit einem Blick auf das Meer! Danke für die unvergessliche Erfahrung. Nur einige zu zitieren und nicht vergessen andere: Luca Restaurantmanager , Santino an der Rezeption , Joseph im Poolservice und die Frühstücksfrau haben dazu beigetragen, unseren Aufenthalt hervorragend zu machen. I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again. We live in Sheffield in England but my new husband is originally from Catania, we normally would stay with family but after this trip I know we will be back. Don’t waste any more money staying anywhere else, this hotel offers everything you want and need. Thank you for having us Hotel Caparena! See you again one day I’m sure! Fantastic B&B just few steps away from the most beautiful view on Sicily. Everything was clean when we arrived and the room was being cleaned every day after we left for our trips. The lady at the reception booked us a table with an amazing view at the restaurant she recommended and she was right - the food at Al Saraceno was fantastic. Breakfasts were delicious - sweet as well as salty. The coffee was very good and if you ask the lady who prepares the meals, she will make you fresh scrambled eggs. We had a great time there and if we visit Castelmola again, we will definitely choose the same place to stay. Only downside was that air confitioning was a bit loud.

Wir waren Anfang Juni für zwei Tage im Laguna Beach. Maximale Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft. Ein wirklich interessanter Preis. Die entzückende Wohnung. Freundliches Personal. Ein wirklich schöner Ort, es sieht aus wie ein Hotel, aber mit Apartments, die mit allem Komfort ausgestattet sind. Sauna und Hydromassage stehen auch in einem SPA-Bereich zur Verfügung, mit dem die Anlage ausgestattet ist. Für den Zeitraum hatten wir keine Parkprobleme und konnten die Anlage dank der Dame, die sich um die Rezeption kümmert, mit guten Ermäßigungen nutzen. Frühstück wird ebenfalls angeboten. Ich danke Ihnen dafür, wie gut ich Ihren Aufenthalt mit meiner Familie genossen habe.

Ich habe viele Videos von Ihnen auf der Verpackung für Sicily im Oktober besucht, vergessen, dass sie schwer falsch sind. Jeder trägt Sneakers, Italiener tragen immer noch weiß und ja sie tragen Flip-Flops. Frauen waren in Shorts, Tanktopfen und Sonnenkleidung sowie Jeans. Zufällige Attraktion in den teuersten Restaurants in Taormina war die Norm. Wir reisen alle um Sicily von Palermo nach Taormina bis zu Hügelstädten in Gangi. Meine Beratung tragen, was für Sie komfortabel ist und respektvoll und freundlich sein, Sie werden eine wunderbare Zeit haben.

This hotel is really beautiful. The drive up to the hotel is like driving up to a country house in the Lake District. The hotel grounds are immaculate and very pretty. Etna can be seen from the hotel as well as views of the surrounding hills and countryside. On entry to the hotel it feels very high end, the decor is stunning and the staff on arrival were welcoming and friendly. We definitely got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We were informed that use of the spa throughout our stay was complimentary which was a nice touch. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to make a reservation in the restaurant to which we agreed, however after seeing what was on offer we quickly changed our minds. There are two tasting menus available 120-150 euro per person. None of the food listed appealed to us and there was no way we were prepared to pay that price every night. Luckily we had hired a car which was much needed whilst staying at villa Neri. Sadly there is very little available in the surrounding area so in order to find nice places to eat you have to be prepared to travel. Normally this would not be an issue however it is a long way down the mountain every evening around hair pin bends and no street lighting!!! It was such a shame that the hotel didn’t offer a half board option or even a menu offering steaks or fish. We did actually eat in the restaurant on the last night as we just couldn’t face driving yet again. There was an option to choose dishes off the tasting menu separately. I chose a spaghetti dish which I was disappointed in as it was very expensive and very small. On the positive side the wine was lovely and the service amazing. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. There was nothing that wasn’t available, everything you could possibly want was on offer and to a very high standard! The juice was so good as was the carrot cake!!! Our room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. We had a couple of treatments in the spa during our stay, the price was reasonable for a spa but the facial I had was a little disappointing. All in all we enjoyed staying at Villa Nerri however we would not return due to the remote location and more importantly the lack of food options in the restaurant in the evenings. We would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant every night if only there had been some more affordable options. Thank you to all staff at the hotel who were all very welcoming and professional. If absolute peace, tranquility and luxury is what you are after then this could be the place for you but car hire is a must!!
