Das Hotel hat zugegebenermaßen einen etwas morbiden Charme, aber es hat auch Charakter und vor allem einen unglaublichen Blick. Unbedingt ”seaside” buchen. Balkonblick auf Taormina, Gardini Naxos und den Ätna. Parkplätze vorhanden, Autoschlüssel werden von der Rezeption verwaltet. Wie die Autos auch. Im Ernstfall parkt der Koch die Autos um, alles halt italienisch. Sehr sehr nette und kommunikative Bedienung inkl. Koch ( der mit den Autos) bei Frühstück und Dinner ( Vorbestellung nötig). Wir mussten früh (6.30 Uhr) los und haben vorher Kaffee und Omelett bekommen. Großartig!!!

Dieses Hotel ist wirklich die perfekte Unterkunft in Taormina. Wie bereits erwähnt, liegt es ganz in der Nähe des Geschehens, aber in einer ruhigeren Gegend abseits der Promenade. Das Hotel selbst ist optisch wunderschön, mit toller Einrichtung und schönen Zimmern. Wir fanden es toll, dass wir zum Einchecken vorfuhren und ihnen unser Auto zum Parken überließen. Für 20 Euro pro Tag ließen wir es dort und fuhren nicht mehr, bis wir abreisten. Taormina ist kein Ort, an dem wir mit dem Auto fahren wollten, mit all den steilen Hügeln usw. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit mit Wegbeschreibungen usw. Außerdem war das Frühstück köstlich. Wir hätten mit unserer Hotelwahl nicht zufriedener sein können.

Aufregend , nahe dem Hauptplatz Taormina , in einer privilegierten Position mit einem Blick auf das Meer! Danke für die unvergessliche Erfahrung. Nur einige zu zitieren und nicht vergessen andere: Luca Restaurantmanager , Santino an der Rezeption , Joseph im Poolservice und die Frühstücksfrau haben dazu beigetragen, unseren Aufenthalt hervorragend zu machen. This is a beautiful & pretty little hotel with clean comfortable rooms and friendly and helpful staff. We were a group of 4 staying for 5 nights from 3rd July in 2 adjacent rooms, with sea views. One room was slightly larger than the other and had tea & coffee making facilities, plus a bigger bathroom. The views from the balconies were wonderful - how lovely it was to watch the sun rising over the sea in the mornings. Breakfast was eaten upstairs in the part open breakfast room with similar views to our bedrooms. There was an amazing buffet style choice of both hot and cold food, which was replenished quickly by the lovely kitchen staff who were on hand cooking. All food seemed to be home made and there was a vast array of both savoury and sweet. Drinks were brought to your table by a really friendly lady with a great sense of humour. There was also a lovely terrace with a bar for you to sit out on during the day and evening, although we were out and about so much that we didn’t get a chance to use it as there is so much to see and do in and around Taormina. The hotel is perfectly situated only a short walk to Corso Umberto, the restaurants and the sights of beautiful Taormina. It’s also very near to a well stocked mini market. All four of us had the most wonderful 5 nights stay in this beautiful hotel, and didn’t want to leave it. Thank you to all the staff. I hope we’ll be back one day.

wir haben auf der Terrasse des Hotels einen Apéro genommen und die phantastische Aussicht genossen. Es wurde uns zu unserem Drink eine kleine Knabberei gereicht, allerdings war dies für die Klasse des Hauses ein wenig lieblos. Die Einrichtung des Hotels ist sehr stilvoll und wir würden hier jederzeit wieder einkehren.

I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again. We live in Sheffield in England but my new husband is originally from Catania, we normally would stay with family but after this trip I know we will be back. Don’t waste any more money staying anywhere else, this hotel offers everything you want and need. Thank you for having us Hotel Caparena! See you again one day I’m sure! We stayed for a week on a guided tour with Titan travel. On the third day my wife fell on the stairs, broke her arm and taken to the local hospital. The group leader was of no help despite this being a part of Saga. My wife is 78 and I am 80. We speak no Italian. The Hotel was extremely supportive. They allowed us to take all of our meals in the room for four days and check out late afternoon for the flight. They scanned and sent all the documents to our insurer. Arranged a doctor to attend and one young woman came to the room and sorted out the complicated sling for her arm, the instructions for which were in Italian. We are eternally grateful to all the staff. You will be in good hands. Additionally the hotel is pleasant and the food excellent.

Bona sierra an alle ! Meine Familie und ich haben sich nach den letzten zwei anstrengenden corona Jahren, so wie wahrscheinlich viele andere fam. auch, einen perfekten Urlaub gewunschen/verdient. So haben wir uns in einem Reisebüro unserer Wahl (nemec in niederösterreich) einen solchen Urlaub zusammenstellen lassen. Nach langem hin und her viel die Entscheidung dann auf naxos in sizilien ! Das war die beste Entscheidung im Jahr 2022 ! Denn die Stadt naxos hat nicht nur geschichtlich viel zu bieten sondern auch mehrere schöne Strände, eine wunderschöne Altstadt in taormina (shoppen und sehr gute Küche) und nicht zu vergessen den Vulkan Ätna den man auf vielen Touren (bus oder exklusive privat Rundreise) bewundern kann. Das aller beste jedoch in unserem zwei wöchigen Aufenthalt war das Hotel RG Naxos ! Auch wenn es kein Kinderhotel perse ist, wurden unsere 2 kleinen 4 und 6 Jahre alten Kinder sehr liebevoll behandelt! Von der Rezeption bis zu dem Restaurant, wo wir täglich zu Abend gegessen haben war das Personal einfach tutto benne ! Das Restaurantteam unter der Führung von Herrn Andrea (Giovanie-Guiseppe-Christian), hatte uns täglich behandelt als gehörten wir zur Familie.
