Travelodge Tamworth Central Hotel

Chose this hotel as is close to the snow dome but would not stay again. Road is extremely busy and noisy, room was horrendously hot, couldn’t have fan near bed as no plugs so very little sleep had. Other guests banging doors until late. Old trainers found under my sons bed and no body wash in bathroom.

Excellent stay, friendly reception. No issues. Only issue was the heat, a fan was provided but the window only opening slightly meant it couldn't draw cool air in. If normal heat then would have been perfect.

No aircon in 2025 prepare to sweat like a weight watcher in a cake shop if its warm outside. The shower was good though, that's about it really.

Easy to get to Very clean and nice staff. Good sizzle carpark too. Also had having it connected to an aldi.

Stayed over for a wedding, was a nice stay and at a decent price too. Would recommend to family and friends

We have stayed there lots of times and always found it to be comfortable and clean, the staff always friendly and helpful, however, on our last visit my wife who is an OAP slipped and fell in the shower and pulled the shower curtain down trying to stop her fall, my wife was lucky she only sustained bruising to her arm and shoulder. Although there is a small sign about slipping I think it would be a good idea to put a non slip rubber mat in the shower. We did inform the staff on the way out who just said “ Oh Bless, is she ok” there was no sign of an accident book. This will not stop us staying there again, this is the only problem we have encountered in the many years we have stayed there.
