Radisson Collection Resort, Galle

Super nice and comfortable hotel. The suite had a big living room with a large fridge/freezer that can be filled with endless cool beverages of choice and ice. There was also a coffee machine which I like in the room. Nice balcony with seaview. We were a large group with a lot of requests and nothing was too much trouble - the staff in all departments were very friendly and accommodating. Namikaze restaurant has excellent sushi. We will definitely be back!

What a fantastic hotel—new, clean, and with a lovely outdoor area. Front Office Manager Gothami was very friendly and took care of everything. The pool was beautiful, and the facilities are excellent. A five-minute walk from the hotel along the beach brings you to a spot where you can swim in the Ocean and see turtles right by the shore. There’s also a grocery store just outside the hotel. I did miss having a few restaurants nearby, but it was still fine. I also missed the Sri Lankan breakfast, but when I asked, it was served. Beautiful rooms, we had a fantastic stay.

This brand new resort is an ABSOLUTE dream, and is now my favourite Galle hotel ! This is the best beachside resort in Sri Lanka and I can offer no higher praise. The location is spectacular, facing the beach and you’re just a few steps away from swimming with giant turtles ! There are two gorgeous sparkling swimming pools with plenty of room for everyone and two jacuzzis style small pools too. The rooms are so spacious and luxurious and spotlessly clean- beautifully furnished and the bed is wonderfully comfy and cosy. The service is simply superb - I am so impressed. I arrived quite early and they checked me early into my room without any problem. The staff are so professional - not obtrusive but always there to help. Make sure you try their Japanese restaurant the sushi is simply divine, the prawn tempura sushi is a work of art ! I simply cannot wait to bring my entire family to holiday here! There is a large and fun packed activity area for kids too. My only recommendations for improvements are - have a cocktail menu at the pool bar, have electronic menus available for in room dining, have fresh milk in the rooms for tea and coffee (coffee mate does not go well with tea), perhaps offer some flip flops since this is a beach resort. It would also be nice to have some bath salts. However these are minor gripes - I am counting the days until I can holiday here again! Congratulations to the entire resort team you’re all doing an incredible job!!

First class service in a brand new property, still in soft opening stage and ironing out the kinks. The views of the ocean and the hinterland are spectacular. In particular, I'd like to call out the performances of Ricardo (f & b director) Priyantha (manager), and Sajani, Pawan and Jayani (servers), and the housekeeping staff who went out of their way to customize things for us.

I had the best time with my daughter at this hotel. We stayed for 5 nights. The view is spectacular. We had a corner room with ocean view and we could see such beautiful sunrise in the morning and the blue ocean throughout the day. The two swimming pools are amazing and breakfast is fantastic. Healthy and delicious. The staff are amazing and the front desk manager (Gothami Tennakoon) is so helpful. To the right of the hotel is the turtle beach and we swam there every day with the turles. They are gigantic and there are around 10 of them. Best time to see is early in the morning when there are less people, and most turtles come at around 9-10 am. Please support the local people there by buying sea **** to feed the turtle (I spoke to one seller who lost his parents due to the tsunami. You can also watch the best sunset on turtle Beach but the sun beds at the hotel by the ocean are fantastic, too. I felt so lucky I was able to stay at this hotel. Highly recommended. I hope to be able to come back soon!
