Novotel Taiping

The hotels location is very good because it is right in the heart of Taiping. It is also connected to a shopping mall to buy food and other essentials. The room is clean and comfortable. But the service could be improved. My room I paid for was a twin, but I got double instead. And the city view is OK, but obscured by a large roof. There was a missing chair and the safe deposit box was locked but fortunately this was rectified by the Indian hotel manager. Honestly, I think he’s the only one who truly understands customer service. Other staff are average and some are kindof lazy. When I wanted to checkout, two Malay staff were at reception and saw me but couldn’t be bothered to attend to me while I waited right in front of them. Only the Indian manager, who was actually doing something else, put down his work and came to my assistance. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast, afternoon tea and room service. No dinner. Too bad, as it’s quite a nice looking restaurant. Car Park is free for guests and located on the 6th floor. Overall, I did have a good stay. I think I’ll try the lake view room next time since they have cleaned their windows.

The location is perfect for the small town. Behind hotel is Pasar. A lot of food can eat surrounding the hotel.

It was a last minute booking. Got the cheapest smallest room but it was spacious enough. Love the ample parking space, direct access to the mall, the hospitality of the staff, the amenities, facilities, etc. Overall, everything was well. Will definitely repeat if I went to Taiping again.

Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and too many food to choose from. Kids happy with the pool and overall it is an enjoyable stay for a family. Recommended hotel to stay!

WiFi is bad, the carpark is at the top floor, dizzy after drove thru the narrow road up.

I like Novotel hotel Taiping.it is 4 star hotel but feel like 5 stars.food delicious breakfast and the swimming pools are clean,Room is well decor and very comfortable.parking is free too.surrounding has lots of restaurants and food court.good stay

The hotel is in the heart of Taiping, good location, many restaurants and walking distance to beautiful places, also close to a park and a night safari zoo. The room is clean, but we didn't like the water bottles, I recommend buying water at the store. Free parking is a big plus when traveling by car. 酒店位于太平的中心，位置好，有很多餐馆，步行可以到达美丽的地方，也靠近公园和夜间野生动物园。 房间很干净，但我们不喜欢水瓶，我建议在超市买水。 开车旅行时，免费停车是一大优势。

Love the kids club and the swimming pool walking distance to a lot of eateries and taiping lake.
