Absolutely shocking for a so-called “4-star hotel.” In reality, this place struggles to even qualify as 2 stars. Zero service, zero hospitality. Staff don’t make eye contact, don’t care, and the first impression was already awful.
The hotel has no breakfast, no bar, no coffee shop, no gym — nothing you’d expect from a 4-star property. The room was a disaster: worn out, extremely dim, multiple lights not working, and even moldy when I checked in. Maintenance clearly doesn’t exist here.
The worst part? In the middle of the night I went to reception to ask for a spare pillow. The staff bluntly told me there are no extra pillows in the entire hotel — before even bothering to check. Only after pressing did he go look around, but what kind of hotel operates like this? This is the opposite of hospitality.
This hotel is intentionally misleading people by advertising itself as a 4-star property when it’s clearly not. Guests deserve better than this. If you value even the most basic standards, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of proper hotels in Taipei — don’t waste your time or money here.
