Pursell Farms

I have been contemplating this review for a week now. Only because it is one of the most wonderful places we have ever been. We are being selfish and want the place for ourselves. I don’t even know where to start. We were looking for a place to stay during a weekend where one of our family members was running a race. We searched and searched and decided on Pursell Farms. As we were driving to the resort we were wondering what we were heading too. The drive was really thru the country. When we arrived at the front gate it was like WOW!!! Why have I never heard of this place. The drive up to the Inn was spectacular. The Inn itself was just incredible. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE was so hospitable and kind. The rooms were amazing. The meals were absolutely delicious and the adult beverages were top notch. Do yourself a favor. Take some time and make a reservation at Pursell Farms. Make it a weekend and enjoy some downtime and relaxation. You will not be disappointed. This is one of my favorite places I have ever visited

Pursell Farms is a hidden treasure. Though we were only 1 hour from home we felt as if we had traveled to the Mountains! First class facility and service. Beautiful rooms and the setting is beautiful! Please take advantage of the outdoor activities (Justin is great!) so you get a feel for the entire resort. Highly reccomend.

My entire stay at Pursell Farms was enjoyable. I do not golf but found plenty of activities to spend my time while there. The UTV experience with Justin was fun - hadn't drove a UTV in a while or ridden a tire swing since I was a child - and the views are breathtaking. Savannah guided our horseback ride up the mountain and even though I was a little cautious about getting on a horse again after 30 years - she and the horses put my mind to ease quickly. It was an easy and peaceful morning ride. The spa services that I had - facial and massage- were also top notch and left there feeling refreshed and relaxed. Visited the Pub several times while we were there - the food and the staff were always friendly as could be - make sure you spend some time at the bar and get to know Keith while you are there! Overall great experience and look forward to coming back.

Had the most amazing week and cannot wait to come back! Never thought I’d fall so in love with a place but in addition to the beautiful property, golf course and accommodations, delicious food and drinks, you can’t help but love the staff and their hospitality: Melody and Madison at the front desk, Crystal in Housekeeping, Savannah at the farm, The restaurant teams: Marlee, Darlene, Kristy, Trey, Laura, Diane, Heather, Chastity, Billy and Angel - Thank you for making our trip beyond amazing with all your smiling faces, hugs, and chats. You should be SO proud of the service you provide. You have become like a little second family to us. Lisa, John and Zazu (doggy) are missing Pursell Farms already.

The hotel was amazing. The course, the best I’ve played in Alabama. It’s even better than the RTJ courses I’ve played. Staff is friendly. Overall the best golf resort experience I’ve experienced in the state of Alabama. All the amenities of an Arizona golf resort with the sweet southern hospitality.

Everything was first class. In my opinion it is the best Golf value in the Southeast! Definity will plan to return in the future
