Super freundliches Personal, super Aussicht auf Ferry terminal und Opera house. Grandioses Frühstück und einfaches aber leckeres Essen in der Bistro. Sehr hilfsbereiten Personal an allen Stellen, die sehr überrascht waren deutsche Touristen (wir leben in Melbourne derzeit) anzutreffen. Rundum zufrieden

I had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Das ist eine Erfahrung!!! Das Zimmer war perfekt und groß und komfortabel. Wir haben Tierblick Zimmer mit einem großen Koala nur Fuß von uns gemacht. So cool. Die Tour des Heiligtums war so lustig und die perfekte Länge in der Zeit. Das Frühstück war wirklich nett für ein inklusives Frühstück. Die Ansichten sind ausgezeichnet. Die Nutzung des Bus und Fähre nach Sydney war einfach und einfach. Ich weiß nicht, ob wir es nach Sydney zurück bringen, aber wenn wir es tun, werden wir absolut hier wieder bleiben.

I stayed at Crown Towers Perth in Sep 2022 and June 2023. I also stayed in Crown Towers Melbourne in Dec 2022. Thus, the next logical move is to stay in Crown Towers Sydney to complete my experience in staying at all 3 Crown Towers Hotel in Australia. I finally did that. Stayed at Crown Towers Sydney from 3 Nov to 8 Nov 2023. Today is 8 Nov 2023 and I will be checking out shortly. I stayed at an opera king room which has views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The room was very well lit and nice. Just the appropriate size for a sole traveller. I also managed to try most of the restaurants in Crown Towers Sydney except Yoshii Omakase which is so hard to book and Silks. I did not managed to book Yoshii even when it opened for booking. Guess too many people booking. I tried Epicurean for breakfast, dinner at A’Mare, Nobu, Woodcut and Oncore by Clare Smyth. I did not try Silks since being an Asian Chinese, I normally do not eat Chinese food when I go holiday. Got to try other food instead. My favourite restaurant is undoubtedly Oncore where I ordered the 7 course seasonal tasting menu. Superb. Woodcut was also good where I ordered their sirloin steak. Nobu was also nice as it completed my tour of all 3 Nobu in Australia having previously eaten at Nobu Perth and Melbourne when I stayed at Crown Towers there. For Nobu , I ordered the X Haku Omakase which is 5 course. The star of the course was the lobster. Overall I have enjoyed my stay in here. As Sarah Brightman is coming to Sydney in Aug to Oct 2024, I have already booked my tickets to watch her performance at Sydney Opera House in Sep 2024 and also booked a 4 night stay at Crown Towers Sydney again. For the future, I do hope Crown Towers Sydney can have a Crystal Club for breakfast like what Perth and Melbourne has. Also, hope to see more shops/entertainment areas at Crown and also a provision/gift/snack shop here at Crown Towers Sydney.

As a frequent attender, I'm very happy to see this Hotel's facilities has all been renewed very nicely. The service provided by the team was kind and friendly. I recommend choosing the harbour-view rooms, especially the larger one for best experience.

Es ist sehr nahe am Strand von Manly, es gibt einen Weg! Die Lage ist sehr bequem, Surfen ist sehr bequem! Das südliche Punkt ist das Zentrum! Es gibt eine Straße, die direkt zum Hafen führt, und das Essen von Mararita ist auch großartig! Die Innenausstattung ist allgemein, ähnlich wie das inländische Geschäftshotel, die Lage ist gut!

From the first steps in front door of hotel to reception area I felt welcome. This friendly welcoming professional attitude makes you feel like part of the hotel family quickly. My room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was well equipped and the Dyptique products are tops. The observation lounge was comfortable and the drinks divine. Staff there is very capable. The spa pool and facilities excellent. I wanted to have the Sunday high tea and although the tearoom was full staff was able to arrange for me and my guests to enjoy it in the lounge. And it was perfect. Finally the ginger flower signature scent is relaxing and heightened my experience. I will always chose Langham first whenever I can.

The hotel was very affordable and conveniently located, right in the CBD. Everything worked as it should, A/C was very good and much needed during our stay. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little on the small side, and the bathroom a little dated. No real issues to speak of, we would definitely stay there againa.

Das ist ein nettes Hotel, sehr saubere und neue, intelligente Zimmer, sehr schönes Personal. Das Bett war komfortabel. Teilliche Aussicht auf den Hafen von meinem Zimmer auf dem 18. Stock - ich konnte Abschnitte von Wasser zwischen Gebäuden sehen. Die Beleuchtung im Badezimmer ist schrecklich, wenn man sich auf einige Make-ups setzen muss, und ich bin nicht wirklich ein Duschefans ohne Tür, aber das scheint der Trend zu sein und sie sind kleine Quibbeln.
