Große Lage. Eine Reihe von Cafés und Restaurants innerhalb einer 1-2 Minute zu Fuß vom Hotel entfernt. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben wir mit Claire zusammengearbeitet, die ganz brillant war. Wir hatten drei Zimmer gebucht, und sie sah uns alle sehr gut an. Das Personal war insgesamt freundlich, und die Zimmer wurden renoviert und modern. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht zu groß in der Auswahl, sondern eine große Menge von Optionen zu wählen.

Ich besuche etwa einmal im Monat, und das habe ich schon lange getan. Das Personal ist sehr willkommen und geht aus ihrem Weg, meine Buchung in meinem bevorzugten Zimmer zu organisieren. Die Suite ist hervorragend. Immer unerwartet sauber und perfekt für meine Bedürfnisse. Das Hotel liegt in einer einfachen Spazierweiterung zum CBD und Restaurants von Parramatta. Ich werde jedes Mal, wenn mein Geschäft mich nach Parramatta führt, zurückkehren.

Wir blieben in einem Familienzimmer vor einem Spiel im Olympischen Stadium. Die Einrichtungen waren datiert, aber sauber. Leider aber riecht unser Zimmer sehr stark von Zigarettenruch. Unser Zimmer stand vor Paramatta Road, so war es laut und hell, aber die Block-out Blinds helfen ein wenig. Die gemeinsamen Badezimmer waren OK. Es gibt ein Zimmer für Frauen, die ein Toilette, Dusche, und Tauchen haben. Die andere Option ist ein Bereich mit 2 Toilettenstangen und eine Dusche über den Tub mit keine Wände oder Gräber und ein Fenster, das dauerhaft geöffnet ist, so dass ich mir vorstellen würde, dass im Winter kalt sein würde.

Generell nicht zu empfehlen und werde hier nicht wieder wohnen
Vorteile: Günstige Lage, ca. 6 Gehminuten zur Trimmstation
Nachteile: Es gibt ein Problem mit der Kommunikation zwischen den Mitarbeitern. Am Abend vor dem Check-out gab es eine Anfrage. Der Check-out wurde auf 12 Uhr verschoben. Der Mitarbeiter sagte ja, aber das Telefon wurde am nächsten Morgen um 10:15 geweckt, um uns zu wecken, und die Tür wurde direkt geöffnet. Datenschutz ist auch unhöflich. Er sagte auch, dass er spätestens um 11:30 Uhr auschecken und um 12 Uhr Geld hinzufügen würde.
Außerdem haben wir uns für einen Wasservorhangraum entschieden, also gibt es einen Whirlpool, der aber viel kleiner ist als auf dem Bild und auch darunter leckt. Die Zimmerausstattung ist sehr alt und unterscheidet sich stark von den Online-Bildern.
p.s. WLAN-Zugangscode muss den Kellner bitten, ihn zu bekommen

Ich war an einer Konferenz im Lennox Ballroom teilgenommen und es war einfacher, im gleichen Hotel zu bleiben. Ein- und Auscheck war ok, ein wenig langsam und musste warten, bis jemand sich beunruhigt, um aufzusehen und mich dort zu sehen. Die Lage ist gut, neben vielen Essen und einen kurzen Spaziergang (ca. 10-15 Minute) zum Westfield Mall. Das Zimmer war durchschnittlich, mit allen grundlegenden Anforderungen. Das Bett und die Kissen waren komfortabel, und die grundlegenden Bedürfnisse waren da. Die Punkte für Verbesserungen sind: - kein vollständiger Längespiegel im Zimmer (nur der Badspiegel über dem Tauch), Dusche Kopf war etwa ein Zoll über meinem Kopf (Ich bin 158cm), der Dusche Bildschirm war zu klein, um Wasser auf den Boden zu stoppen, während Dusche , ungewöhnliche Zimmerausstattung bedeutete, durch eine enge Kluft zwischen Wand und Bettwinkel, um das Badezimmer zu erreichen, und unvakuiertem Boden trotz Anzeigen des Zeichens für Zimmerreinigung. Das Sofa am Rezeption war groß und nützlich, leider hatte es ein paar kleine Rippen. Während das Hotel ausreichend ist, mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf Details könnte helfen, die Kundenerfahrung zu erhöhen.

Drei meiner Geschäftspartner aus Singapur und ich blieb eine Woche in Rydges Parramatta. Das Personal erleichterte die frühzeitige Eincheckung für meine Geschäftspartner, die früh angekommen waren. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und bieten WiFi und Arbeitstisch. Das Frühstück ist für Geld wert. Das Restaurant und die Bar haben ein begrenztes, aber sehr gutes Menü. Der Park hat viele Räume. Ich habe hinter meinem PC-Ladegerät gelassen, was mir das Personal postete. Die einzige Frage war, dass der Klimaanlage Zeit brauchte, um die Temperatur anzupassen. Soll ich noch einmal dort bleiben? Ja!

Ich habe nichts gegen Ibis, die viele Male in den Jahren benutzt wurden. Dieses Ibis passt perfekt den Stil. Kleine Zimmer mit grundlegenden Einrichtungen. Das übliche Zeichen, dass Dampf nicht aus der Dusche entkommen lassen. Sie sind sauber, haben die Grundlagen für einen Übernachtungsaufenthalt sind im Allgemeinen gut gepflegt, obwohl dieser ein paar Dachlöcher hatte, aber nach dem Regen, den wir hatten, nicht überrascht. Hatte der übliche Lärm, bis jeder schlief. Es gibt mehrere Lager, und es gibt keine Aufzüge, aber sie haben Bodenzimmer. Basic Frühstücksangebot, andere Mahlzeiten gibt es ein paar schnelle Mahlzeiten, oder der Leagues Club über die Straße für etwas Besseres. Es ist auf einer besetzten Straße, aber nicht viel Straßenlärm, in meinem Zimmer, aber das war am Rücken, so dass das vielleicht ein Tipp, bitte um ein Rückenzimmer. Alles über, ok bleiben, ok Hotel.

GGuest UserI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). Einfacher Zugang zur Stadt und besonders, wenn Sie in der Nähe des unteren und oberen Nordküstes zu sein. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstück war wirklich gut, das Ding war aufmerksam in speziell Diego, die oben und darüber ging, um unsere Zeit im Hotel sehr angenehm zu machen und immer glücklich versucht, all unsere vielen Anfragen zu befriedigen. Ich werde sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben.

GGuest User4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotel hat keine Sidney-Voraussetzungen: Es ist einfach, sauber, mit sorgfältiger Empfang -Desk-Personal. Zimmer variieren in Ausstattung und Preis: Ich nahm ein 5th-floor Zimmer mit Blick auf die QVB, kein offenes Fenster, zwei Betten, kleiner, aber nicht weniger Platz als ich brauchte; Aufzug. Ich hatte einen speziellen Preis, in einer „downtime“ für die Gastfreundschaftsindustrie. Das war ein erster Besuch: Das Hotel erfüllte meine Qualitätserwartungen, insbesondere für einen Budget Traveler.

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?

GGuest UserA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

EelsamDas Zimmer ist sehr sauber, der Boden ist hoch und das Licht ist gut, die Lage ist sehr gut und leicht zu erreichen, nur ein paar Haltestellen von der Harbour Bridge entfernt. Die Küche und Küchenutensilien sind sehr komplett, eher für Familienausflüge geeignet! !

GGastnutzerHotels in Australien sind teuer. Der Service und die Einrichtungen sind mit denen in China nicht zu vergleichen. Die Zimmergröße beträgt 36P. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick, das ich gebucht habe, liegt in Darling Harbour. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Arbeitskräfte sind zu teuer und es gibt eine große Kluft zwischen W in Sydney und W am Bund (W am Bund beträgt 50 P). Chinesische Online-Mitfahrgelegenheitsfahrer in Sydney sagten, dass niemand Hotelkellner werden möchte, also haben sie es getan kann nur Kellner mit hohem Gehalt einstellen. Die Lage von W ist wirklich gut, die beste Lage in Darling Harbour, direkt neben dem Sofitel. Die Lichter im Zimmer sind dunkel und diesig, und der Flur hat eine Sternenhimmeldecke. Wer es heller mag, mag es vielleicht nicht. Die Badewanne und der Duschraum sind nicht getrennt. Daher sind Nass und Trocken nicht getrennt. Das Frühstück ist komplett im westlichen Stil, was ziemlich reichhaltig ist. Für diejenigen, die nicht an westliches Frühstück gewöhnt sind, wird es unangenehm sein.
Da ich mental keine hohen Erwartungen hatte, konnte ich diesen Standard akzeptieren. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, umgeben von Restaurants und ganz in der Nähe von Chinatown.
