Wir hatten ein Abendessen in der Nähe und haben in diesem Hotel gelungen. Nicht sicher, es ist ein neues Gebäude oder komplett renoviert, aber alles hell und hell. Untergrundwagenpark Eingang von hinten Spurweg. Kann nicht reservieren, aber angerufen und wurde niedrig Wohnsitz versichert. Park in der ersten, die Sie sehen, schwer umdrehen, wenn Sie zum Boden gehen. Zimmer war gut, wie erwartet. Marmorboden war kalt, bringen dicke Socken. $10 für vorbestelltes Frühstück für zwei ist großartig - gibt ein begrenztes wenig sehr gutes Menü und ein heißes Getränk jedes. Freitag Nacht war das Erdgeschoss Restaurant besetzt und laute Musik. Nicht eine ruhige Lounge. Versuchte nicht die Dachbar. Zimmer x01 war das hinter dem Hotel, mit unerwarteten Blicken von Chatswood, Nord-Sydney, der Brücke und der Stadt.

It is better than expected and a nice hotel. Lots of social areas inside, etc on level 1, a gaming room with tables so people can hang out and eat. The room designs are modern and super clean! Honestly the housekeeping team do a great job and reception are helpful. For those who are staying for a while - there are no washing machines or dryers in rooms so you must cash out your money and convert to coins to use the machines in the Laundry room on Level 1 ($4 per cycle).It’s also right next to the shopping centre where you can walk across etc Coles. Lots of parking available ($10 extra per day btw). Amenities topped up each day with extra water bottles & daily express cleaning done by housekeeping too. There’s also a bbq area on rooftop level & forgot to mention - in rooms you can completely hear conversations in the hallways. If you don’t like noise just keep in mind you will hear people talking outside your door💀 Also the pictures are of the Queen Bed Room. But either way would say it’s pretty good staying here and would definitely recommend.

Wir blieben in einem Familienzimmer vor einem Spiel im Olympischen Stadium. Die Einrichtungen waren datiert, aber sauber. Leider aber riecht unser Zimmer sehr stark von Zigarettenruch. Unser Zimmer stand vor Paramatta Road, so war es laut und hell, aber die Block-out Blinds helfen ein wenig. Die gemeinsamen Badezimmer waren OK. Es gibt ein Zimmer für Frauen, die ein Toilette, Dusche, und Tauchen haben. Die andere Option ist ein Bereich mit 2 Toilettenstangen und eine Dusche über den Tub mit keine Wände oder Gräber und ein Fenster, das dauerhaft geöffnet ist, so dass ich mir vorstellen würde, dass im Winter kalt sein würde.

Wir waren in Sydney auf Geschäftsreise und blieben eine Nacht im Ibis. Trotz der Accor Hotel Mitglieder wurden wir die grundlegendesten Zimmer gegeben. In der Regel die Zimmer sind sehr datiert, in der Notwendigkeit einer kompletten Renovierung. Das Zimmer war ungleich mit einem riesigen Betonbomb unter dem Teppich an der Tür des Badezimmers! Es ist eine Reise gefährlich und sehr unsichtbar. Das Zimmer war sauber und so war das Badezimmer. Das Zimmer war sehr klein aber und wir hätten ein wenig mehr Zimmer geschätzt. Die Fenster geöffnet, die für frische Luft groß war, aber die Hohnen, die auf der Straße unterhalb der Nacht verbrannten, zwang uns, sie leider geschlossen zu halten. Das Bett war super komfortabel. Die Brasserie war nett mit einem begrenzten Menü, aber der Anwalt vergaß uns eine Seitenrezeption für unser Hauptmahl zu geben. Das Frühstück war ziemlich teuer für ein ordentliches kontinentales Frühstück (kein warmes Essen). Die Anwaltschaft war freundlich. Die Dame, die uns auscheckte, war sehr freundlich und glücklich, eine Chatseite zu haben.

This budget Hotel has small rooms, yes, but they are clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. Great location for events in Olympic Park. Make sure you book a car space at time of booking if needed to avoid missing out. Friendly staff and easy check-in and check-out. Laundry and Ironing available. Convenient store and burger place downstairs. We are a family of 4 and comfortably stayed overnight for a concert and conveniently walked to and from the stadium. Highly Recommend for an affordable stay.

Wir kamen hier zum Backstreet Boys-Konzert, und es war ein sehr bemühtes Wochenende mit Harry Styles auch im anderen Arena. Die Check-in war sauber, wir hatten mit Qantas Hotels vorbezahlt und dann gerade unsere Parkplätze direkt an das Hotel zahlten, da wir selbst unter dem Hotel parkierten. Der Parkeingang wurde aufgrund der großen Veranstaltungen überwacht und gegen Buchnamen geprüft, so gut auf den Hotels gemacht, da der Parkplatz mit dem Novotel über die Straße geteilt wird, auch mit begrenzten Parkplätze verfügbar. Das Zimmer hat alles, was Sie brauchen, war sauber und gut gepflegt, Bad unschädlich. Kettle und Kühlschrank mit riesigen Mengen Bodenraum. Wir konnten nicht viel Zeit im Zimmer verbringen, als wir für eine Veranstaltung waren, aber das Bett war fantastisch. Die Mitarbeiter hielten bei allen Anfragen, kein Problem. So nahe an Konzertplätze, und wir erhoben uns, um zu Hause DFO zu töten Zeit vor dem Einchecken.

The hotel was very affordable and conveniently located, right in the CBD. Everything worked as it should, A/C was very good and much needed during our stay. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little on the small side, and the bathroom a little dated. No real issues to speak of, we would definitely stay there againa.

GGuest UserI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). MMaryMacCullochIch habe mit meiner Tochter in Sydney bei einem Besuch meiner Freunde dort geblieben. Einfacher Zugang zur Stadt und besonders, wenn Sie in der Nähe des unteren und oberen Nordküstes zu sein. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstück war wirklich gut, das Ding war aufmerksam in speziell Diego, die oben und darüber ging, um unsere Zeit im Hotel sehr angenehm zu machen und immer glücklich versucht, all unsere vielen Anfragen zu befriedigen. Ich werde sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben.

GGuest User4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GGuest UserDieses Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum von Sydney, gegenüber dem ikonischen „Victorian Era“ Queen Victoria Building, und in der Nähe von Sydney Town Hall, mit einer bestimmten „europäischen“ Luft zum Nachbarn. Das Hotel hat keine Sidney-Voraussetzungen: Es ist einfach, sauber, mit sorgfältiger Empfang -Desk-Personal. Zimmer variieren in Ausstattung und Preis: Ich nahm ein 5th-floor Zimmer mit Blick auf die QVB, kein offenes Fenster, zwei Betten, kleiner, aber nicht weniger Platz als ich brauchte; Aufzug. Ich hatte einen speziellen Preis, in einer „downtime“ für die Gastfreundschaftsindustrie. Das war ein erster Besuch: Das Hotel erfüllte meine Qualitätserwartungen, insbesondere für einen Budget Traveler.

TTeyuI usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

GGuest UserA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

EelsamDas Zimmer ist sehr sauber, der Boden ist hoch und das Licht ist gut, die Lage ist sehr gut und leicht zu erreichen, nur ein paar Haltestellen von der Harbour Bridge entfernt. Die Küche und Küchenutensilien sind sehr komplett, eher für Familienausflüge geeignet! !

Da ich mental keine hohen Erwartungen hatte, konnte ich diesen Standard akzeptieren. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, umgeben von Restaurants und ganz in der Nähe von Chinatown.
