25 December 11:50pm I arrived at Hills Lodge after my husband had booked me in online. I requested an upgrade for my room which I mentioned I was willing and able to pay for but was informed I was in the last room available for the night a queen standard. This was a 15+ minutes conversation which matters because I had informed the front desk team I had just been discharged for severely swollen legs and high blood pressure needed to rest immediately. A lovely porter assisted me with my bags and acknowledged my interaction with front desk had been challenging and difficult to understand. When we arrived at the room the bed was not made the sheets were sloppy tucked under the pillows and the sheets werehanging out of the sides and there was a big dip in the middle like someone had been sitting there , I was SHOCKED I told the porter who tried to convince me the bed was made and it had just been made in a rush. I refused to settle in as I could tell it was an unmade bed , I then saw a bin with RUBBISH in it, 2 Pepsi cans, KFC packets and showed him, he checked the bathroom and saw towels on the rack and open soap at the sink. He apologised and told me he’d call reception to organise another room. He tried to convince me this was unusual for the hotel. I was still aghast as the cost did not correlate with this tardiness. The front desk then organised another room for me down the hall “an upgrade” they said. It was a suite with a separate lounge - however to my surprise I had been told there was no more rooms available when I checked in 30mins before and there’s no way they would have prepared a room in 20mins. The room was presentable but the curtain had a big red stain on it (forgot to take a picture) and the carpet dusty and old. I told my husband of my experience but because it was 1am on Boxing Day and the state of my body I had nowhere else to go. I stayed there till the morning and left early for personal reasons and thankful I did not have to stay another moment there. A few days later I called the hotel and told them my ordeal - the manager was polite but I was disappointed in how he kept trying to excuse the front desk’s behaviour. He told me how another guest had given the front desk guy a glowing review. I was not rude when I called him but just factual and encouraged him to make improvements for his team and in how they receive guests. His comments made me wonder why would the front desk treat me like that. I was unwell, with a baby in hospital and a husband away. Did I not deserve compassion and good customer service. It made me wonder was it the colour of my skin? I’ll never know but one thing I know is to encourage you to speak out if something looks wrong! You’re paying for this service and if you’re going to stay at Hills Lodge - good luck. I would not personally use my hard earned dollars to stay there. Very disappointed customer. Hills Lodge - excellence matters not sure how you got 4 stars but please DO BETTER!

Der Pool war gut und erfrischend. Das Bett war schön, aber das Hotel insgesamt war ziemlich heiß, da die AC sehr schwach war. Er wurde hochgradig, was sehr gut war! Parken für kostenloses und buffetfreies Frühstück $24 wenn Sie vorbuchen!

Der Service des Personals ist wirklich nett und hilfreich. Leider ist die Wohnung ein bisschen alt und die Sofas wurden ausgeschmückt. Es hat alles, so dass Sie alles in der Wohnung tun können. Waschmaschine, Waschbecken und Trockner, kostenlose Parks und WiFi. Sie können auch Verbindungszimmer buchen, wenn Sie mit der Familie reisen möchten. Lage weise, Sie sollten ein Auto haben. Wandern zum Bus und Metro ist irritierend. Nur ein paar Minuten Fahrt und Sie würden in die U-Bahn, Geschäfte, pubs, Bowling. Für den Preis ist der Ort ok.

Große Lage. Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Service war hervorragend. Café in den Räumlichkeiten war komfortabel mit einer guten Auswahl. Auch in der Nähe von schönen Restaurants. Sicherlich wird wieder bleiben und sehr empfehlen diese Unterkunft.

Check-in und check-out war sehr effizient, kleinere Fragen wurden sofort behandelt, so dass sie nicht zu größeren Problemen oder Unannehmlichkeiten - sehr geschätzt, so dass ich mit dem Geschäftsbetrieb weitergehen konnte. Sehr freundlich.

Da die Stadt so besetzt war mit ihrer massiven Veranstaltung, entschieden wir uns, aus der Stadt zu verschieben, und dieses Hotel war die beste Wahl, die wir gemacht haben. Es war wirklich ruhig und wir hatten hier unser bestes Schlafen, das ist das erste Mal für die Sydney-Reise. Das Zimmer ist geräumig mit schönen kleinen Details und Einrichtungen. Darüber hinaus ist der Service auch hervorragend, Eranja der Front Office Manager hat während unseres Aufenthalts immer hilfreich gewesen! Sie haben auch ein Restaurant-nach-Such-Komplex, das so groß hinsichtlich der Lebensmittelwahl und Qualität, sowie die Atmosphäre, nie etwas wie das in Sydney gesehen, es ist ein Muss zu versuchen!

Loved the value for money accommodation. It suited our needs perfectly. Good size room and your facilities were great. One thing to think about is the little things that make a difference. Toilet seat (125) that you sit on has gone yellow and the plastic is deteriorating. It would help with cleanliness if thing like that were in better condition. However, loved the dishwasher in the kitchen facilities. Nice layout of the room.

Absolutely appalled by the state of the room we were given. Even the Budget Ibis's I've stayed at were held to a higher standard than this place. Upon entering our room we were greeted by a musty smell, which would make sense as there was mould from the top of the window to the ceiling. From there it got even better- Threadbare carpets, cobwebs, thick dust covering the tv, bed lights and headboard, filthy fridge that has obviously never been wiped out, stained linen, bathroom sink with the plug jammed so it was unusable...the list goes on! If it wasn't quite late when we arrived and we weren't leaving early in the morning I would have found alternative accommodation...even my 11yr old was disgusted and wanted to leave as it was, in her words, unsanitary! Absolute disgrace to the Ibis/Accor brand. The only positive was the free parking.

Ich habe nichts gegen Ibis, die viele Male in den Jahren benutzt wurden. Dieses Ibis passt perfekt den Stil. Kleine Zimmer mit grundlegenden Einrichtungen. Das übliche Zeichen, dass Dampf nicht aus der Dusche entkommen lassen. Sie sind sauber, haben die Grundlagen für einen Übernachtungsaufenthalt sind im Allgemeinen gut gepflegt, obwohl dieser ein paar Dachlöcher hatte, aber nach dem Regen, den wir hatten, nicht überrascht. Hatte der übliche Lärm, bis jeder schlief. Es gibt mehrere Lager, und es gibt keine Aufzüge, aber sie haben Bodenzimmer. Basic Frühstücksangebot, andere Mahlzeiten gibt es ein paar schnelle Mahlzeiten, oder der Leagues Club über die Straße für etwas Besseres. Es ist auf einer besetzten Straße, aber nicht viel Straßenlärm, in meinem Zimmer, aber das war am Rücken, so dass das vielleicht ein Tipp, bitte um ein Rückenzimmer. Alles über, ok bleiben, ok Hotel.
