Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Sydney, was eine gute Anbindung an verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten bietet. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie erlaubten mir, früher einzuchecken, als ich fragte, ob ich mein Gepäck dort aufbewahren könne, was für mich eine große Hilfe war, da es draußen kalt war. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und die Ausstattung entsprach den Bedürfnissen.

I had previously read the comments before booking at the capsule hotel as I usually do to avoid disappointment of available amenities, staff etc… when checking in I found the location in the heart of the CBD perfect with food vendors straight across from the hotel and a 2 minute walk from the light rail that takes you straight to the main shopping district and the rocks for all your art and entertainment. Staff were very kind and approachable even the guard at the bottom floor bar exit door was friendly to me when exiting at night. I found noise never to be an issue in the pods, although I did wear headphones at night time to listen to music but the room is practically always quiet. I was worried about how the air flow would be in the pods and about the mattress comfort from previous reviews thinking I may have got a one way ticket to a hot box scenario but I found it to be very comfortable with great airflow, I had the air flow on 1-2 levels at different times of the day and they still had an option for a third stronger airflow that I found unnecessary. I loved coming back to the pod for some RNR between my busy schedule over the three days I stayed here, the mattress for me was so comfortable and reminded me of the tatami mats in Japanese culture that they sleep on so as a westerner it actually opened my perspective to understanding Japanese culture better. I found that the shared bathrooms were always clean and never to crowded at both night and day. The last thing I can comment about is the storage was a great size I like that they had a hanger in your card accessed locker to dry your towel out through the day and still stay seperate from my belongings. Overall as a solo female traveller I would highly recommend the capsule hotel Sydney. I have stayed at hostels in Sydney close by to this hotel but that extra privacy allowed me to not feel like I wanted to stay out all day till bedtime. This was a last minute trip and if I ever had to book another last minute stay in the city I will book here.

Learned about YHA from a travel blog. I booked a queen room with an ensuite for myself (traveled solo), so it felt more like a usual hotel stay rather than the more social/fun rooming with other people. THe price was reasonable. The best part about this hostel is its location--literally in the Center of everything. There's a tram and the train station right outside of the hostel. The next thing that was great about it was the hospitality of the staff. I didn't do much at the hostel or places right outside the building (I bet there was so much to do), so there's not much to add; the pool area at the rooftop was under renovation, so that bummed me a little. Overall, it was a great place to stay for two nights. Would return. Would recommend.

War hier für eine kurze Reise. Zimmer sind geräumig, aber ein wenig runter, es gibt einen duftenden Geruch, wenn Sie in der Innenstadt sind.

Schließen Sie sich an die Hafenbrücke und das Operhaus. Einfach zu Fuß zu gehen, um eine Sehenswürdigkeit zu haben. Darüber hinaus können Sie innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß eine Tram nehmen, um zu gehen, wo immer Sie wollen.

This is one of the most luxurious hostels you could stay in. It is beautifully designed, but in the dormitories they will never look like the photos unless you are the only one in there (or the other people staying in there are really tidy with their possessions!). This is the definition of the meme: expectation vs reality. The private room is incredible, it felt like a hotel room - just without an ensuite. Breakfast was fine, but disappointing. Beggars can't be choosers; but, why was there no fruit? Your options were tea and coffee, toast and cereal - that was about it. That staff were competent and helpful regarding matters of admin, but not as friendly and chatty as other hostels I have stayed in. Cleaning could be improved. Down the side of my dorm bed there were used Cotton Buds, tissues, and other detritus which was not pleasant when checking nothing had fallen down the side of my bed before checking out. The Goki experience was unique and modern, somewhat of a fan of that over keycards or keys. Overall pretty good, but don't expect the most social experience - if you are a solo traveller after making friends, there are better hostels I would recommend over this one. If you are travelling as a couple or with friends, this would be great.

On the ambience side, the decor and modern-ish art was uplifting and fun. The room was very clean. But, we were surprised to find the room so small. In order for 2 people to get into the bed, one had to crawl over the other. The very small window sill became the nightstand. There was no room for luggage, and no luggage racks - we were told they didn’t have enough. That meant one suitcase on the floor and one on the very small plastic table. The retro-refrigerator was cool, but my traveling companion kept threatening to move it out into the hall to create some space in the room the whole time we were there. And then, the very small bathroom, the shower door doubled as the door to the bathroom. Have you ever looked into a microwave? The shower and the bathroom walls had the same dot matrix pattern as a microwave door. My companion was surprised to see while showering she could see me relaxing on the bed, and when she screamed “can you see me?” I replied “yes”. My companion now has bathroom-PTSD. Not only was the shower see through, there was a full-room-view sitting on the throne, trying to do your business. Then the realization somebody may be watching. PTSD! Our solution was to use the downstairs public bathroom for major activities. Did I mention IBS???

Ich blieb im Hotel für 2.5 Wochen während einer der arbeitsstärksten Zeiten in Sydney. Die Zimmer wurden täglich gereinigt. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich. Der Manager auf der Pflicht ist unglaublich. Ich hatte ein paar Hiccups, wie jeder Reisende in jedem Hotel würde, aber einmal erwähnt von mir an das Personal, dass sie ohne Zweifel gingen weiter, um sicherzustellen, dass mein Aufenthalt perfekt war. Es ist nicht der glamourösste oder größte Ort oder sogar der sogekommenste Ort, aber es war perfekt für einen Solist wie ich, der nach Australien reist, um Mardi Gras und die Website zu sehen. Andere Freunde von mir liefen in zahlreiche Probleme über meine Herausforderungen in anderen großen Kette-Hotels, aber dieser kleine Ort hielt mich gelaufen und machte mich sehr glücklich. Ich würde jederzeit zurückkehren. It's location is perfect for site seeing and a overnight sleep or daytime nap. Dank all dem Personal dort, das erstaunlich war. Wiedersehen, hoffe ich noch mal!

Das Hotel war großartig - Lage, Einrichtungen, Service, Raum, Reinigung. Maskot ist ein toller Ort zum Aufenthalt, es gibt viele Mahlzeiten und der Zug geht zum Stadtzentrum und Flughafen (both domestic and international). Sie würde sicher wieder zu Meriton Suites gehen.

Das Hotelzimmer ist sauber und sauber, die Toilette und das Badezimmer sind groß, die Liebe zum Trinkwasser liefern, kann man in der kleinen Bar unten kostenlos einen Glas Bistro bekommen. Es ist nicht teuer, bis es um 11 Uhr morgens geöffnet wird. Der Balkon und der Biergarten am ersten Stock können rauchen, intim, und die Spielraum können ****, ein-Station-Service. Am Tag, an dem ich weg bin, möchte ich in Sydney mehr wechseln, die Rezeption gibt es auch kostenlose Speicherkartons, ich glaube, keine Chance geben, die Einstellung ist sehr gut. Jetzt warte ich auf die Bistro-Tür zu öffnen und zu essen, wenn ich nachts zurückkomme und die Tasche hole und dann zum Flughafen. Obwohl es fast 20 Kilometer von der Stadt entfernt ist, gibt es eine U-Bahnstation, wo immer es angebracht ist, und der Flughafen hat eine Opal-Buskarte, wo immer du willst. Ich wollte es noch einmal machen. Ich habe ein Zimmer über den Haushalt. Zusammenfassend, der Preis ist super hoch, das nächste Mal in Sydney.
