I usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

It was good but we didn't get the room service even though we hung the sign requesting the service in front of the door. The bath plug was missing so we asked multiple times for it, still wasn't given till we checked out. The mattress wasn't comfortable, we were told that the maintenance guy will have a look. We came back to the hotel just to find out that the room wasn't serviced and the sheets were piled up on mattress. The front desk was helpful, they ended up making the bed. Could have been a great stay should the room is serviced and the bath plug is there for us to use.

Das Hotel wurde kürzlich auf einen stilvollen, komfortablen Standard aufgebaut. Wir reservierten ein Königszimmer, das sauber, ruhig war und alles für einen kurzen Aufenthalt benötigt hatte. Das Bett war extrem komfortable mit hochwertigen Bettwäsche. Das Bad wurde kompakt renoviert, aber auf hohem Niveau. Der Duschedruck war gut und die Toiletten waren gut. Die Vorderbüros sind so wunderschöne Leute, die aus dem Weg gingen, um sicherzustellen, dass alles ok war, und uns über die Renovierungen erzählen. Sie sind offensichtlich stolz auf ihre Einrichtung. Dieses Hotel liegt direkt neben der Tür zum Capitol Theatre und nur 5 Gehminuten vom Zentralstation entfernt. Die Light Rail Stop ist 1 Gehminut von der Vordertür entfernt. Wir werden ganz glücklich hier wieder bleiben.

Die Auffahrt am Tor ist sehr schmal, aber es gibt mehrere Gäste, die lange parken, was die normalen Gäste, die das Hotel betreten und verlassen, stark beeinträchtigt. Sie müssen einen langen Weg gehen, um mit ihren Koffern den Hoteleingang zu betreten. Das Hotelpersonal sieht es als nicht gesehen an und es gibt überhaupt keinen Service. ,Es ist nicht einmal eine Flasche Mineralwasser auf dem Zimmer, werde nicht wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und die Böden in den Fluren knarren. Die Zimmer sind wie ein Gästehaus auf dem Festland eingerichtet. Obwohl es einfach ist, werden die Einrichtungen normal genutzt und auch die Serviceeinstellung des Personals ist sehr gut. Alte Fotos der Lobby im ersten Stock zeigen ihre reiche Geschichte. Das Hotel hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage. Die George Street vor der Tür ist eine belebte Hauptstraße im Stadtzentrum. Straßenbahnen führen zum Circular Quay und Darling Harbour. Es ist sehr bequem, zum Sydney Opera House, zum Fischmarkt, zum Darling Harbour usw. zu gelangen . Es liegt auch in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. So nah.

Having been at a conference over the normal meal hour, and needing to travel by train next morning, the location was ideal. I was able to relax and enjoy later meal. The room was easy to find and toilet/personal products provided of a high quality. It is unfortunate that, as is customary, single customers are required to pay the same as couples. I’m sure that it would be advantageous to have a room occupied by one person than to have it empty.

Ein Freund und ich blieben hier über das Wochenende für eine Nacht, vor einem Konzert in einer anderen Lage. Wir beide waren um 2pm in den SYD Flughafen geflogen und erreichten ca. 1500H. Nach dem Eingang des Eigentums schmelzte der Untergrund von einer tiefen Muskerei, die intensiv stark war. Check-in ist von 1100H. Also, da ich dachte, alles wäre bereit von 1500H, waren wir leider falsch. Wir gingen zu unseren Kellern und der Reiniger war da, machten unsere Betten, wie wir da standen. Es war etwas unbehaglich. Der Keller selbst war sauber und geräumig. Sie erfüllten tatsächlich die Erwartungen aus den Fotos. Aber helle Hölle, diese Keller werden heiß wie Hölle. Ich konnte nicht vorstellen, hier im Sommer zu bleiben. Aufwachen um 7 Uhr und der Pub selbst über 28 Grad. Mit dem Spaß auf hoher Höhe. Es muss ein besseres Fansystem oder sogar Klimaanlage geben. Das Hotel war jedoch über scharf. Die Treppe war klebrig, die Badezimmer waren nicht sauber, und die Toiletten der Frauen hatten die Decke fehlt. Oh und lustig. Wenn Ihr Pod geschlossen ist und Sie in ihm sind, kann jeder aufkommen und einfach nur PUSH sie offen. Wenn es mehrmals während unseres Aufenthalts passiert. Also nein, die Kleider sind nicht sicher, und ich glaube, niemand, der hier bleibt, sollte keine Werte in den Kleidern hinterlassen, die denken, sie sind sicher. Lage ist jedoch ideal. Wanderweite vom Bahnhof und Zuglinie weniger als 200m entfernt. Wert für Geld - aber NICHT sichere Schlafstöpfe.
