It is better than expected and a nice hotel. Lots of social areas inside, etc on level 1, a gaming room with tables so people can hang out and eat. The room designs are modern and super clean! Honestly the housekeeping team do a great job and reception are helpful. For those who are staying for a while - there are no washing machines or dryers in rooms so you must cash out your money and convert to coins to use the machines in the Laundry room on Level 1 ($4 per cycle).It’s also right next to the shopping centre where you can walk across etc Coles. Lots of parking available ($10 extra per day btw). Amenities topped up each day with extra water bottles & daily express cleaning done by housekeeping too. There’s also a bbq area on rooftop level & forgot to mention - in rooms you can completely hear conversations in the hallways. If you don’t like noise just keep in mind you will hear people talking outside your door💀 Also the pictures are of the Queen Bed Room. But either way would say it’s pretty good staying here and would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful find. The beds were really comfortable, the room quiet. Everywhere was very clean and the staff very helpful. The only downside is that they don’t have a restaurant for dinner but luckily we found Lachlan’s a mere 300 metres away that had a delicious menu for dinner. A mere 20 minute taxi ride to the Accor Stadium made it the ideal location for us. The breakfast dining room was well presented with a very good range of cooked and buffet food.

Zu $40 zwei 350gramm Steak, wie gut das ist für zwei Personen! Besonders wenn es um ihre schön gekochten und tender rib Augenstake geht. Ich habe mit meiner Tochter in Sydney bei einem Besuch meiner Freunde dort geblieben. Einfacher Zugang zur Stadt und besonders, wenn Sie in der Nähe des unteren und oberen Nordküstes zu sein. Das Zimmer war sauber, das Frühstück war wirklich gut, das Ding war aufmerksam in speziell Diego, die oben und darüber ging, um unsere Zeit im Hotel sehr angenehm zu machen und immer glücklich versucht, all unsere vielen Anfragen zu befriedigen. Ich werde sicherlich noch einmal dort bleiben.

Wir blieben in einem Familienzimmer vor einem Spiel im Olympischen Stadium. Die Einrichtungen waren datiert, aber sauber. Leider aber riecht unser Zimmer sehr stark von Zigarettenruch. Unser Zimmer stand vor Paramatta Road, so war es laut und hell, aber die Block-out Blinds helfen ein wenig. Die gemeinsamen Badezimmer waren OK. Es gibt ein Zimmer für Frauen, die ein Toilette, Dusche, und Tauchen haben. Die andere Option ist ein Bereich mit 2 Toilettenstangen und eine Dusche über den Tub mit keine Wände oder Gräber und ein Fenster, das dauerhaft geöffnet ist, so dass ich mir vorstellen würde, dass im Winter kalt sein würde.

Es fühlt sich an, als wäre das Hotel ein kleines altes Haus, es gibt keinen Aufzug und es ist nicht freundlich zu Leuten mit viel Gepäck. Ich blieb drei Nächte, abgesehen von den Schmerzen beim Gepäcktransport, und die Serviceeinstellung des Ausländers war in Ordnung. Am nächsten Tag fing es jedoch an zu regnen und als ich schlief, stellte ich fest, dass ein wenig Wasser von der Decke auf das Bett tropfte. Obwohl es nicht viele waren, war die Schlafposition viel kleiner. Wir sagten der Rezeption am nächsten Morgen und sie sagten, sie würden uns helfen, ein Zimmer zu wechseln. Da wir es eilig hatten, auszugehen, ließen wir sie nicht sofort umziehen, aber als wir am Nachmittag zurückkamen, stellten wir fest, dass sie unsere Zimmer gewechselt und alles von unserem ursprünglichen Zimmer in das neue verlegt hatten. Ihre Arbeitseffizienz ist gut, aber da wir ihnen vor unserer Abreise nicht gesagt haben, dass sie uns beim Umzug helfen müssen, haben sie die Initiative ergriffen, unser ausgepacktes oder offenes Gepäck in ein neues Zimmer zu bringen. Auf diese Weise stellten wir beim Abholen des Gepäcks fest, dass das Gepäck unordentlich war (sie haben das Gepäck einfach mit dem Reißverschluss im mittleren Fach abgedeckt) und brauchten einige Zeit, um es selbst neu zu ordnen. Obwohl ich nichts verloren hatte, fühlte ich mich trotzdem unwohl.

Absolutely appalled by the state of the room we were given. Even the Budget Ibis's I've stayed at were held to a higher standard than this place. Upon entering our room we were greeted by a musty smell, which would make sense as there was mould from the top of the window to the ceiling. From there it got even better- Threadbare carpets, cobwebs, thick dust covering the tv, bed lights and headboard, filthy fridge that has obviously never been wiped out, stained linen, bathroom sink with the plug jammed so it was unusable...the list goes on! If it wasn't quite late when we arrived and we weren't leaving early in the morning I would have found alternative accommodation...even my 11yr old was disgusted and wanted to leave as it was, in her words, unsanitary! Absolute disgrace to the Ibis/Accor brand. The only positive was the free parking.

Drei meiner Geschäftspartner aus Singapur und ich blieb eine Woche in Rydges Parramatta. Das Personal erleichterte die frühzeitige Eincheckung für meine Geschäftspartner, die früh angekommen waren. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel und bieten WiFi und Arbeitstisch. Das Frühstück ist für Geld wert. Das Restaurant und die Bar haben ein begrenztes, aber sehr gutes Menü. Der Park hat viele Räume. Ich habe hinter meinem PC-Ladegerät gelassen, was mir das Personal postete. Die einzige Frage war, dass der Klimaanlage Zeit brauchte, um die Temperatur anzupassen. Soll ich noch einmal dort bleiben? Ja!

Das Zimmer war müde, schmeckt müde, die Dinge zerbrochen, aber nicht fest (sicher, nicht arbeiten, keine Torch in der Schranke, intermitterende drahtlose Verbindung). Keine Handtücher. Scan supplies- nur für 4 (wohnung für 5 reserviert), mit nur 2 Glas und 4 Platten, 4 Sachen Schneidwaren. Nicht genug Geschirrspülpulver, um den Geschirrspüler zu verwenden. Enttäuschend, da es ziemlich schön auf dem Außenseite aussieht. Positive: hat einen Pool, Netflix (wenn es funktioniert),Outlook, wenn nicht vor der Hauptstraße ist grüne, Wohnungsgröße gut. Insgesamt hat so viel Potenzial, aber nur gefühlt müde und aus dem Datum. Als ich versuchte, Rezeption (im Geschäftszeitraum) re Internet anzurufen, keine Antwort. Nicht, was ich erwartete für den Preis, den ich zahlen- alle fast 1200 für 3 Nächte.

GGuest UserI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). GGuest User4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The gym and swimming pool is also very small and poor.
But the good thing is there are washing machine, dish washing machine in every room.

I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023)
Plus point
-Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge.
-Bed is comfortable,
-Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong)
Hotel staff, is a on and off experience.
The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name)
Now on to the exciting part...
Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert.
( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation)
We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it)
Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed
Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening.
I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it.
Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did.
By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use.
I was wrong.
Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it.
We found out when we were back in evening.
We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose.
Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did.
Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback.
From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part)
Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again?

Das Hotel hat keine Sidney-Voraussetzungen: Es ist einfach, sauber, mit sorgfältiger Empfang -Desk-Personal. Zimmer variieren in Ausstattung und Preis: Ich nahm ein 5th-floor Zimmer mit Blick auf die QVB, kein offenes Fenster, zwei Betten, kleiner, aber nicht weniger Platz als ich brauchte; Aufzug. Ich hatte einen speziellen Preis, in einer „downtime“ für die Gastfreundschaftsindustrie. Das war ein erster Besuch: Das Hotel erfüllte meine Qualitätserwartungen, insbesondere für einen Budget Traveler.

EelsamDas Zimmer ist sehr sauber, der Boden ist hoch und das Licht ist gut, die Lage ist sehr gut und leicht zu erreichen, nur ein paar Haltestellen von der Harbour Bridge entfernt. Die Küche und Küchenutensilien sind sehr komplett, eher für Familienausflüge geeignet! !

GGuest UserA great place to stay near Light Rail, Chinatown, Central, and shopping. Our room was excellent, and we found the reception staff always welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.

GGuest User Als mein Partner und ich das Elysium näherte, waren wir sofort von der Großheit des Hotels gelockt, in einer Atmosphäre der Ruhe, einer ruhigen Oase in der zerstreuten Stadt. Unser Aufenthalt war nur ein paar Nächte, aber jede Minute dort war in reiner Freude gehärtet, hinter uns mit unvergesslichen Erinnerungen. Die Wärme, mit der wir bei der Ankunft begrüßt wurden, war nur der Anfang unserer charmanten Reise. Trotz eines bemühten Wochenendes ging das Personal über und darüber hinaus, um unseren Aufenthalt komfortable und hartnäckig zu machen. Ihr wahres Interesse an unserem Wohlbefinden, mit ihrer Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details, machte uns wirklich gespannt. Unser Zimmer, ein ruhiger Garten, war geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit modernen Einrichtungen mit subtilen Tönen der Eleganz gemischt. Eine schwebende Aussicht auf die Stadtlinie gegen die Sonneneinstellung aus unserem Fenster war einfach zu schmeißen, und hinzugefügt eine zusätzliche Schicht von Zauberei zu unserem Aufenthalt. Die Sauberkeit und die ruhige Atmosphäre des Zimmers waren zweit bis neun, die zu unseren ruhigen Nächten beigetragen haben. Abends gehen wir in den ruhigen Gärten des Hotels, mit dem weichen Fleisch von Blumen gefüllt, näher an die Natur und einander. Inzwischen erhöhte der elegante, ruhige Spa mit seiner Vielzahl von rejuvenierenden Behandlungen unseren Aufenthalt weiter. Unsere Erfahrung bei The Elysium war in der Tat eine magische Flucht, die noch besonderer war, weil wir diese wunderbaren Momente gemeinsam teilen. Es war ein erfrischender Bruch, eine Chance, von der Welt zu entbinden und wieder miteinander zu verbinden. Unsere Erinnerungen an diesen Ort werden in unseren Herzen gedreht, so dass wir wünschen, wenn die Chance auftritt, zurückzukehren. Wir verließen das Elysium mit schweren Herzen, aber mit dem Versprechen eines zukünftigen Besuchs. Es war mehr als nur ein Hotel, es war eine Erfahrung, ein schönes Kapitel in unserem Leben, dass wir glücklich überprüfen würden.

GGastnutzerHotels in Australien sind teuer. Der Service und die Einrichtungen sind mit denen in China nicht zu vergleichen. Die Zimmergröße beträgt 36P. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick, das ich gebucht habe, liegt in Darling Harbour. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Arbeitskräfte sind zu teuer und es gibt eine große Kluft zwischen W in Sydney und W am Bund (W am Bund beträgt 50 P). Chinesische Online-Mitfahrgelegenheitsfahrer in Sydney sagten, dass niemand Hotelkellner werden möchte, also haben sie es getan kann nur Kellner mit hohem Gehalt einstellen. Die Lage von W ist wirklich gut, die beste Lage in Darling Harbour, direkt neben dem Sofitel. Die Lichter im Zimmer sind dunkel und diesig, und der Flur hat eine Sternenhimmeldecke. Wer es heller mag, mag es vielleicht nicht. Die Badewanne und der Duschraum sind nicht getrennt. Daher sind Nass und Trocken nicht getrennt. Das Frühstück ist komplett im westlichen Stil, was ziemlich reichhaltig ist. Für diejenigen, die nicht an westliches Frühstück gewöhnt sind, wird es unangenehm sein.
Da ich mental keine hohen Erwartungen hatte, konnte ich diesen Standard akzeptieren. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, umgeben von Restaurants und ganz in der Nähe von Chinatown.
