Arrived at hotel for an early check in as we were going to a wedding so had to get ready we had 2 rooms booked so obviously paid the £15 each extra on arriving at our room the smell was awful, my husband went and fetched the housekeeper who was close who agreed she then went off to see what she could do after a while came back took me into the room next door which smelt worse , the housekeeper said it probably needed airing I pointed out I had asthma and no way could stay in the room . I was then told the hotel was fully booked, but was really not our problem eventually got another room the housekeeper was so helpful, but this all had an impact on the time we had to get ready for the lunch time wedding so ended up rushing,. The room we got was below average the toilet did not flush properly and the bath was so slippy when having a shower definitely needed a mat. We paid for breakfast which again was below average the drinks machine was not working there was a lot of waiting around for stuff and not a good experience we did get our money back for breakfast. Not the best premierinn experience and believe me we have stayed in plenty just as well we enjoyed a lovely wedding.
