This property is in the heart of downtown Swindon. A Salvation Army shares the building so there were always people hangin out in front. Never felt unsafe, just a bit seedy. Great location in the heart of downtown. Easy to walk to shopping and restaurants. Room was clean and did the job. Can't really complain for the price.

Lauren is the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, so helpful, kind, has a great sense of humour, so polite and as down to earth as you can get, never have i felt so welcomed and looked after, felt like I was at a home far away from how with her warm presence, she deserves a pay rise for all the hard work she is doing while injured she is certainly the most hard working person I have had the pleasure of meeting, 10 out of 10 for care, banter and dedicated hard work.

It is what it says on the can - a budget hotel at a budget price. I stayed for two nights and certainly would stay again - the manager and her team were really welcoming and friendly. My remarkably large room was spotless, well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed. Ok, the double glazed windows were not totally soundproof but for a budget hotel really good. The eat all you can breakfast was superb, everything you needed and the hot items really well cooked and presented. My first breakfast was on a Sunday and the bean to cup coffee maker decided to go wrong. The manager (sorry I did not note your name) and her staff, knowing an engineer would not come out until Monday, worked away and eventually got it going again. I was willing to act a guinea pig, trying the first (delicious) cup of fresh brew. Maybe the building looks unassuming but inside is a gem. Fantastic value for money, best Travelodge I have visited.

Amazing hotel. Clean, and welcoming.Maria and Molly were very helpful and friendly. I will recommend it. I come with my friends for a night out to town, old town were full of teenagers and drunk people, however, over all we enjoy staying in Swindon, especially to Travelodge central Swindon.

We stayed here to be near relatives for Christmas. We had a family room, which was really comfy. We all slept well. Even our child who doesn’t normally sleep! Breakfast was great, staff were friendly. Bargain price. We’ll definitely stay again.

Pros - Incredibly cheap for a Travelodge. £45 the night before NYE. - Everything in the room worked (more or less) - Rooms were quite spacious - Bed and shower were fine - Parking was very easy - there’s a cheap Multi Storey car park across the road from the hotel. - Location is great, close to shops and bars etc. Cons - Did have some issues initially. When I checked in, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, however reception staff were pleasant about it and swapped me to another room. - As it’s an old style travelodge, the room decor was very tired and in need of a refurb - Interior of the hotel and rooms was a bit run down - Handle for the toilet flush came off in my hand. Thankfully this happened just before check out so didn’t cause me any issues, but I told the hotel staff so they knew to fix it. Overall, it’s a very average, dated hotel but if you’re looking for somewhere cheap to stay after a few drinks, it’l get the job done. If you want something a little more refined, I’d consider staying elsewhere.

The staff are amazing and so friendly, they are very professional and helpful,the beds are comfortable and clean ,the room is accessible and homely ,this is an excellent place to stay for family's and individuals alike ,everywhere else we have stayed doesn't compare
