It was absolutely amazing experience. We came from Japan & came to highland area to escape the city busyness. We are astonished about this hidden gem. As we came in we were welcomed with fantastic passion fruit juice. We came after dark & only requested simple white rice & fried vegetable but the chef and her staff made an amazing dinner with simple vegetable & rice. I realized how food prepared with heart can heal our soul. I was kept thinking if people in the world could eat this kind of food with real soul in it, could heal the whole world!! It is so amazing to be surrounded by beautiful trees &sounds of animals. I will definitely come back again. O

Stayed in room 234. Lets start with the bad. The shower rose did not work. Extreme caution is needed when using the shower, as the water could potentially give you third degree burns and the floor was very slippery. Now the average. I personally thought the dinner menu was a little restrictive and food quality lacked. Now the good. Very spacious room and bathroom. Quality bed linen and towels. Comfortable bed and good AC. Staff very polite, responsive and helpful. Would stay again, but they need to get the shower sorted, as it is dangerous.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Hotel in Sigiriya. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, bietet einen erstaunlichen und direkten Blick auf den ikonischen Lion Rock, was unsere Erfahrung noch besonderer machte. Wachen bis zu diesem Blick war wirklich unvergesslich. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, sauber und sehr komfortabel, bieten eine entspannende Umgebung nach einem Tag der Erforschung. Das Personal war unglaublich hilfreich, freundlich und immer bereit, mit allem zu helfen, was wir brauchen, was uns sehr willkommen fühlte. Das Frühstück war ein weiterer Highlight, mit einer Vielzahl von Optionen, von zu wählen, zu catering zu verschiedenen Geschmacksempfehlungen. Insgesamt war es ein fantastisches Aufenthalt, und ich würde dieses Hotel sehr empfehlen, jemanden, der Sigiriya besucht.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Sigiriya Cashew Palace Resort, sehr gutes Hotel, gut gelegen, super sauber, ruhige Atmosphäre und das Personal war unglaublich freundlich. Wir würden es definitiv jedem empfehlen!

Great place to stay if you want to explore the lions rock and the area around. Pidurangala rock is only 15min away by tuk tuk, the lions rock can be done by walk (~20min walk to entrance). But the best experience was the kindness of the hosts. The helped us in every way (explaining routes, advices on activities, organizing tuk tuk, etc.). The food was amazing and we had a lot of interesting conversations with the friendly stuff. Special thanks to Daushna, Larush & Nimal for making our stay remarkable.

The hotel is nice, spacious beautiful room at check in we were treated to a refreshing juice. There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

Kalundewa Retreat hat ein wunderschönes Konzept und eine schöne, verschlossene Lage, die wirklich herauskommt. Die Umgebung ist friedlich und einzigartig, so dass es ein schöner Ort, um zu entbinden. Dabei gibt es in bestimmten Bereichen deutliche Anzeichen von Verschleiß und Tränen, und einige Aspekte der Immobilienerhaltung könnten verbessert werden. Das Hotelteam war warm, aufmerksam und wirklich willkommen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und klar mit Pflege zubereitet, was zu der Gesamterfahrung sehr hinzugefügt wurde. Mit besserer Erhaltung hat dieser Ort das Potenzial, außergewöhnlich zu sein.

We stayed one night here. Very friendly and nice staff. Mr. Bandara and his team welcomed us warmly. A lovely and quiet place and beautiful garden. We were served with very good breakfast, bread, butter , jam, sausages, omelette, coffee or tea, fruits, juice and 2 local dishes ( sambol and Dal curry with rice). We would like to say thank you. There is coffee , tea and kettle in the room and a bottle of water too.

Zu empfehlen, die Lage ist sehr gut, gegenüber von Lion Rock, und neben dem Hotel gibt es viele Essens- und Trinkmöglichkeiten. Die Lobbydekoration ist sehr markant und das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber komfortabel und ordentlich. Es gibt nicht viele Arten von Frühstück, aber es ist ein Vergnügen, in der schönen Lobby zu essen. Und der Preis passt!

Erstens, als ein Einzelreisender sind die Preise ziemlich hoch pro Zimmer pro Nacht!! Aber deshalb ist alles andere weit nach dem Besuch des Löwenversuchs ich es versucht. Der Ort ist schön, aber es scheint, dass die Reinigungspersonal nicht sehr oft Bad-Sieben, Handtücher und Gewebe füllt. Jeder einschließlich mir hält sich auf der Rezeptioner-Kerl für Dinge. Meine Plug-Sockets funktionierten nicht, ich schlief, mein Strombank und Telefon würden am Morgen vollständig belastet. Die Menschen sind freundlich. Viele Lärme in der Nacht und zeigt es Elefanten 🐘 Lärme und Hunde schütteln. So verpasste ich 2 gute Stunden Schlaf. Sie versuchen, die Probleme zu lösen, wenn Sie ihnen über sie erzählen.
