Wo zu beginnen. Wir hatten nicht vorbehalten und kamen ein wenig spät in die Stadt. Viele Orte wurden gebucht, so war es aus Optionen. Ich habe eine Anfrage an der Rezeption gemacht und das hätte meinen Weg sein sollen, zu gehen. Er war brutal und alles war ein Anstrengung. Ich fragte, ob das Restaurant gesagt werden soll “wir haben nicht eins” aber es war klar markiert Restaurant. Offensichtlich ist es nur für ein kontinentales Frühstück. Ich fragte, wo es ein guter Ort für Abendessen gesagt werden soll “gehen Sie einfach auf die Straße” Das Zimmer war geräumig, aber grundlegende. Die Anzeige in der Tafel empfahl, auf die Rezeption zu gehen, wenn mehr Kissen oder Schleifen erforderlich sind. Gehen Sie zur Rezeption zu sagen, wir haben keine Ersatzkissen. Wir könnten den Fernseher neben der Tür und auch den Spa-Bademotor hören. Die nächste Morgensuche war eine ähnliche schlechte Erfahrung. Sie war nicht freundlich und konnte nicht lächeln und ich war offensichtlich störend. Eine wirklich schlechte Erfahrung, an diesem Ort zu bleiben.

Overnight stay. Again on way back to Adelaide. Having stayed here before we decided to stay here again and it was just as nice a second time round. Excellent friendly reception service. Room was clean and modern. Mini bar and toaster and kettle. But no plates to use the toaster. Also warm enough to use the motel pool. But no pool towels provided and didn’t want to use our bath towels. Pool was clean and had pool float toys to use. Heavily chlorinated but I guess that’s expected. We found there were issues with the foxtel TV though - we tried to watch movies and shows but found only the free to air tv worked. Everything we tried to watch that required internet or chrome casting either didn’t work or would stop after a few mins in and restart. So we turned tv off. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast is now available between 7-9 too in Peppercorn restaurant. Not dinner though. And there is a $13 bacon and egg muffin hash brown and coffee deal. Motel is well situated located on Main Street into Swan Hill. This Time we had a good sleep not too much street noise.

Das Hotel ist nichts Fantasies. Das Zimmer ist etwas datiert, aber es war sauber und hatte schöne feste Betten. Die Gastgeber waren großartig - ich hatte ein Problem mit meinem Luftkon machen einen Lärm, das es nicht tun sollte, sagte ich ihnen am Morgen und es wurde an diesem Tag behoben. Wenn Sie gerne gehen, ist nur etwa alles in der Swan Hill nur 1 km zu Fuß entfernt. Die Pioneer-Bezirksstelle ist nur um die Ecke, so dass es noch einfacher zu Fuß zu gehen. Die Bahnhof ist 10min zu Fuß. Ich würde hier noch einmal bleiben, und ich wurde von Ben der Ragdoll Katze auf dem Rezeption auf dem Rezeption begrüßt, so dass es ein Bonus war.

Right on the main street, unmissable with its large portico, lovely Julie took my booking and we took a queen+single motel room for 160 the night. The 3 of us were very comfortable and warm on this cold winter night in a room with excellent, new air conditioning, really comfortable beds. The rooms have been nicely refurbished. All the usual motel options are there except a microwave. Quality tea btw... important for the early morning start we had. The superb refurbishment of the bathroom was a stand out. So clean, ultra new. Really lovely hot water in a great shower. All the towels and things you need. No lotion btw, probably available if you want it. Couldn't recommend this place more highly. The best motel on our 2000km trip. Solar heated pool (we didn't use it as the sun was scarce and the winter cold) on site for you and go out the back to see the Big Murray Cod! Clubs, pubs and food all around. We chose the Ming Princess just down the road but there were so many good options for a little town. See my review of the Princess. Stay here. Very good.

It was a great short staycation with Murray River Motel. It has everything you need for a short trip.
