Locations was convinient , 15 mins walk to the downtown. It's clean but if I compare with their hotel Citadines in Shanghai this one is a little bit older so I will rate with 3.5/4 stars only. Breakfast was nice tho , we had a chance to eat until 10:30am which was amazing since we wanted to sleep a little bit longer.

Good standard services and hotel room. No complaints about the affordable price. Good breakfast.

The place is clean, it is in a community area but not so crowded. There a lot of Japanese restaurant nearby.

The place provides the bare minimum service. The rooms were not spacious; I mean, you cannot feel that the room is at the mentioned size. The bedroom was very small. The view was not that good. The gym is just 2 treadmills and some random dumbbells in a small room.

If you’re looking for a perfect 4 star venue in the city centre then look no further! This place is a good bargain all round the year and even in peak seasons. I am going to split my review into sections so bare with me. 1) Rooms: The outdated the rooms need a serious paint jobs and the couch is quite “scratchy” material wise. Despite the interior eye sore, the flats are quite cosy with everything you need. Scenery wise , those who aren’t afraid of heights request the balcony rooms ! Maybe they don’t have the views of the shanghai centre shopping mall but the evening breeze did put me to sleep like a baby! Also the television was well packed with nostalgic movies , I really enjoyed the entertainment. Although the TV volume doesn’t go too loud , I guess it’s good respect to the neighbors some of who are long term tenants. 2) Service: Impeccable. The people here, although clearly overworked are so nice! The housekeepers are all so wonderful ! They were the ones who let me come back to a clean flat everyday , really it was a piece of home with a whole lot of help! For shampoos and conditioners and shower gel you would need to let the front desk know you need it, so please keep that in mind! 3) Breakfast: Just enough for survival , I’m quite particular about my tastes in food where the buffet options were too less and unfortunately not too tasty. But I was able to survive…I really hope they can fix this though cause the place although cheaper than others isn’t exactly cheap as well. If you want a good breakfast spread , you will be left heavily disappointed. There’s a lot of cost cutting the hotel group has done and it’s obvious…I hope Ascott takes this into consideration cause it’s not good to have better hotels around the world but keep smaller cities forgotten and tightly budgeted!! Suzhou is quite expensive than other cities due to the constant influx of tourists. I don’t usually write much for my reviews but In this case I seem to care after seeing the overworked hotel staff and the poor conditions around them. Come on Ascott do better. I initially was tempted to give a 3/5 review stars but it’s the people that pushed it up.

Feels like home. Ok breakfast and gym. Can do laundry for little fee. Can borrow a bike to cycle around the city. But Suzhou center is walking distance from the hotel. Would for sure stay here again in the future!

a nice hotel in good location , if touvlike Korean and Japanese food you're near the local hun of these type of restaurants hotel itself is nice, good size and good sized kitchen, shower is in bath , I normally prefer seperate has a modern Japanese style toilet breakfast is very basic and is not for western customers in my opinion will come back again

I was surprised this hotel was pretty good for its money. High floor, no noise, inside living complex, clean. I stayed 1 night, but it's possible to live there for a couple of weeks, there is a kitchen with all the necessary things, bath tube, living room, bedroom in the apartment. They gave me a room without disgusting smoke smell. Not sure if all their rooms are non smoking, just it's so hard in China to get a REAL non smoking rooms, most of the hotels just pretend they have them. Will definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel, room, breakfast, staff and location

First time in Suzhou and wasn’t aware that the place doesn’t have central heating so the flooring is cold. Service was helpful and the location is okay. Generally okay

This is service apartment hotel. Location is good, booked this as all other hotels are sold out. Quite expensive and got a smoking room.

The hotel staff is really nice and everyone can speak English. The location is good, the breakfast has a good mix between western and Chinese food. The room was clean, although the furniture was quite old and could’ve been replaced some time ago. Would stay here again!

The hotel is ok. There's a convenience shop downstairs and it is close to a huge mall. Experience was positive . Good view from my room
