1. Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert und die Einrichtungen sind gut, deshalb beschloss ich, einen Tag länger zu bleiben. Das Zimmer zur Sonne hin hatte einen stechenden Geruch, der mir Kopfschmerzen bereitete. Der Kellner sagte, das liege am Sonnenlicht, das tagsüber auf den Holzboden fällt. Ich gab ihm eine zusätzliche Karte und stellte die Klimaanlage auf 20 °C, Stufe drei. Der Geruch war damit erträglich, und im Zimmer zur Schattenseite war kein Geruch wahrnehmbar. 2. Ich war im Allgemeinen mit dem Service aller Kellner zufrieden. 3. Das Hotel bietet einen Wäscheservice an. Ich ließ drei schwarze Röcke und eine weiße Jacke zurück, und sie versprachen, sie nach Farben zu waschen, da es etwa zwei Stunden dauern würde. Ich gab sie am ersten Abend ab, aber sie waren am nächsten Morgen nicht zurück. Als ich in die Waschküche ging, um sie zu suchen, bot sich mir ein schockierender Anblick (siehe Bild). Eine Herrenunterwäsche steckte zwischen meinen Kleidern. 4. Frustrierend war, dass die Hotelmanagerin sofort die Verantwortung von sich wies und mir die Schuld zuschob. Nachdem sie die Fotos gesehen hatte, sagte sie, sie würde die Videoüberwachung überprüfen. Ich machte kein Aufhebens und bat lediglich um chemische Reinigung und Desinfektion. Die Managerin sagte, sie würden die Überwachungskameras überprüfen, um die Situation zu untersuchen, und versprach, Frühstück zu liefern. Ich erklärte, dass das Frühstück bei meiner Verlängerung bereits geliefert worden sei und dass ich bei einem frühen Check-out am nächsten Tag möglicherweise den Service des Hotels um 20:00 Uhr verpasse. Die Managerin sagte, sie könne ein früheres Frühstück organisieren. Ich spürte, wie ihre Panik in Erleichterung überging. Sie hielt ihr Versprechen jedoch nicht ein, lieferte das Frühstück am nächsten Tag nicht früh und entschuldigte sich nicht. Vom Kellner erfuhr ich, dass das Hotel eine Besprechung zu dem Vorfall abgehalten hatte, aber sie gaben nicht an, in welchem Zimmer der Gast untergebracht war. Deshalb bat mich die Kellnerin sogar um eine gute Bewertung. Der Umgang der Managerin mit der Angelegenheit wirkte unaufrichtig, gleichgültig und unprofessionell.

What we liked about the place: - Convenient location; surrounded by happening commercial area and near local attractions - Great service overall - Room design and space was amazing considering the price What were meh: - Really poor soundproofing; could hear lots of loud noises and conversations from outside directly in the room; woke us up a couple times - AC system took a while to figure out, feels like there’s a lag - Because the hotel is in a commercial building itself, most rooms do not get a window; however, how they’ve mitigated this is by having artificial internal windows with a bright mini-garden view which I suppose was a relatively good fix. But can feel a little “tight” Important: The hotel is at the 4th floor of a commercial building, and is a short walk in from the Didi/car drop point. Do not be confused with another “Humble Hotel” opposite the Mercure hotel, contact the hotel for directions.

I stayed at Houju Courtyard Design Hotel (Also known as The Humble) during my trip to Suzhou, and while the place is definitely Instagram-worthy, my overall experience was quite disappointing. I had high expectations after seeing the gorgeous photos and videos online, the traditional Suzhou-style architecture and the tranquil courtyard vibe looked amazing. But when I arrived, reality didn’t quite live up to the aesthetics. The location is near Shantang Street, which is great for exploring, but the hotel is about a 5–10 minute walk from the main road. If you have large luggage, this walk can be really inconvenient — especially during rainy season, which was the case for us. We had to drag our suitcases through narrow alleys in the rain just to check in. Another thing that surprised me was that this isn’t a standalone hotel building. The hotel is on Level 4 of a mixed-use building, with restaurants and other businesses on the lower floors. That means anyone can use the same elevator — not the most private or secure experience, especially if you were expecting a more exclusive boutique hotel feel. When we entered the room, the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned — there were hairs around the toilet bowl area, and the bathroom doors felt flimsy. On top of that, the toilet kept making bubbling noises. We had to call staff to fix it, and they explained that it was due to water pressure issues common to all rooms. That said, I have to give credit where it’s due — the staff were very helpful and attentive, and they responded to issues quickly and politely, which definitely softened the experience a bit. Final Thoughts: While Houju Courtyard Design Hotel (The Humble Hotel) looks stunning in photos and has a great location near Suzhou’s attractions, the actual stay didn’t live up to expectations. It’s more about the aesthetic than comfort, and you should be prepared for shared spaces, limited privacy, and some maintenance issues. If visuals are your priority, it’s worth a short stay — but if you’re after a more comfortable, hotel-like experience, this might not be the right fit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and hope to return in the future. I appreciated the welcome tea and snack service, and the room was beautifully designed and very cozy. The bed was so comfortable that I wished I hadn't made my itinerary so busy so that I could sleep in!

我們這次出來玩選了好久，最後訂了這家，果然沒失望，位置挺好找，跟着導航一下就找到了。附近景點也多，前台小姐姐服務態度特別棒，辦入住很快，還笑着跟我們説有什麼需要隨時找她們，感覺很親切。房間比我想象的要大，收拾得乾乾淨淨的，床墊躺着特別舒服。衞生間也亮堂堂的，熱水來得快，洗個澡解乏。 晚上睡覺很安靜，沒聽到什麼雜音，一覺睡到自然醒。這個價錢能住到這樣的酒店，我覺得挺值的！下次來這邊玩，肯定還住這兒。

這個酒店的位置也太好了吧！就在山塘街核心地段，出門即逛古街，生煎包、蘇式糕點等美食隨手可得，步行可達遊船碼頭，夜遊姑蘇超方便🚤 步行15分鐘到地鐵2號線，去留園、虎丘、西園寺等景點交通便捷。鬧中取靜，既能沉浸式感受山塘街煙火氣，又能享受酒店的靜謐舒適，來蘇州住宿選這裏，出行遊玩超省心！

這次在七里山塘街附近的住宿體驗太超出預期了！選這家酒店完全是看中地理位置，沒想到從入住到離開，每一處都讓人舒心。酒店位置真的太便利了，步行幾分鐘就能走到山塘街入口，晚上逛完夜景慢悠悠回來特別方便，不用繞路也不用趕交通。最驚喜的是服務人員的態度，從進門辦理入住時的耐心引導，到主動告知周邊遊玩路線和好吃的小店，甚至還幫忙提行李到房間，全程熱情又貼心，完全沒有距離感。房間設施特別新，傢俱、家電都透着精緻感，床品柔軟舒適，衞浴設備也很齊全，用起來很順手。衞生方面更是無可挑剔，房間角落、桌面、衞生間都乾乾淨淨，沒有一點灰塵和異味，連床底都收拾得整整齊齊，住得特別安心

距離地鐵2號線石路站200米，從蘇州高鐵過來非常方便。騎共享單車去西園寺、留園、寒山寺、拙政園、獅子林還有蘇博都不遠。酒店旁邊的啞巴生煎，連吃三個早晨！酒店在4樓，帶陽台的房間寬敞明亮，喜歡床品和枕頭， 不軟不硬，住了了三個晚上，很好睡！洗澡水也不錯，出水量大，酒店隔音也不錯，三個晚上左右隔壁都聽不到聲音，總之酒店性價比不錯，超值！

這次來出差入住了厚居庭院設計酒店，沒想到超出了我的意料：這家酒店房間都是智能化的，可以小度小度來控制的窗簾，電視，燈光這些；前台工作人員辦理入住高效又熱情，還貼心的告知了早餐時間和酒店的各項設施；房間要比我想象中的大一些，床很軟，不過我習慣睡硬一點的，但是床很舒服的；強烈推薦給各位朋友，下次來還選擇這家酒店、
