It's getting incredibly expensive to stay in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Budget options are severely limited, and inevitably you will have to make sacrifices. But if you're looking for decent accomodation that won't break the bank, this property has a lot going for it. It's definitely an older type building, and doesn't attempt to compete with the glittering modern skyscrapers constantly springing up along this coastal *****, but its location is unbeatable. Right across the road from the beach, and barely 5 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of Cavill Avenue, yet once you're inside the apar**ent, you never feel like you're in the thick if it, and there's virtually no noise disturbance, so the best of both worlds really. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff friendly, and parking is free - another bonus that is rapidly dying out! There is also a nice pool, sauna/steam facilities, games room and small gym. And so to those compromises - There's no in-room laundry facilities, no dishwasher, and I think this is the only hotel room I've ever seen anywhere in Australia without aircon. (ceiling fans only) More of an observation than a criticism, but we only stayed for one night so it didn't really affect us. It could have been potentially problematic for a longer stay, especially in hot weather, so worth thinking about. Overall, I found Chateau Beachside excellent value and a pleasant place to stay for a short-medium visit. If you are realistic about what you can expect at this price point, you will definitely not be disappointed.

Das ist ganz gut. Vorteile: 1. Die Toilette ist sehr sauber, die Zimmerinfrastruktur ist komplett und das Zimmer ist auch sehr neu. 2. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, es gibt einen großen Balkon, eine Küche, ein Wohnzimmer und zwei Zimmer, zwei Badezimmer. 3. Unterhalb von vielen Hotels, das Hotel ist sehr nahe am Strand, es gibt eine Bahnhof in der Nähe, der Verkehr ist bequem. 4. Sie können alle Einrichtungen des Hilton Hotels wie Pool, Fitnessraum usw. verwenden. Mangel: 1. Es gibt keinen 24-Stunden-Rezeption-Service, nur 10am-5pm hat Büropersonal. Wenn Sie mit ihnen in Verbindung treten möchten, wird es schwieriger sein, wie ich dieses Mal einen Spinnfaser genommen habe. Die lokale Zeit setzte sich mit ihnen in Trip.com um 3 Uhr am Nachmittag an, aber die Rezeption hat nicht geantwortet, bis am nächsten Morgen sehr spät geantwortet, Aber die Gegenstände wurden schon gereinigt, und der gesamte Service ist sehr spät und unkomfortabel. (Das ist das Hauptproblem) 2. Es ist nicht billig, dass Sie eine zusätzliche Reinigungsgebühr für 158 Macau haben, bevor Sie sich aufhalten. 3. Es gibt kein Frühstück, natürlich können Sie auch in der Nähe essen, es gibt viele Restaurants in der Nähe, nicht ein großes Problem. 4. Die gelieferten Kleider haben ein wenig Schleifen. Im Winter kann man sich darauf aufmerksam machen. Sie können vor der Buchung des Hotels fragen, ob der Kundenservice vorbehalten ist.

Stayed recently during the week so no noise from Cali beach club next door. In fact perfectly quiet once balcony door was shut. But hey, your in Surfers Paradise so you can't expect absolute silence. Rooms were a bit in need of a paint but so what. It was immaculately clean, smelt lovely and was cheap as well. Bathroom amenities smelt beautiful. Big containers of shampoo and conditioner and body lotion and bath gel/ hand wash. I didn't have to use any of my own supplies except toothpaste and toothbrush. The girls on reception were extremely kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Had an upgrade from an Executive Suite to Family Suite giving more room space with views of the beach and daily room services kept our Suite fresh and clean. The Breakfast menu was always our go to and got us ready for our busy day. Thank you Novotel Surfers Paradise for always making our stay feeling like home.

A beautiful stay indeed, right down to the daily activities for the children. Always something to keep the children busy. We felt very at home. Everyday the kids were always making new friends. Special shout out to the activities Host Mya! Always happy to help, She really does the most. The days we stayed there Mya had really went above and beyond to keep the children & Adults entertained. Beautiful customer service. We look forward to booking with you guys again. Only downfall is the beds, maybe add a topper. You can really feel the age of the mattress. Die Ferienwohnungen sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Surfers Paradise Beach entfernt, 5 Gehminuten G:Link Lichtbahnhalte (Cypress Avenue). Es ist auch 3 Gehminuten bis Budds Beach, ein schöner ruhiger Sonnenuntergang. Im Einbett, das sehr geräumig war (~70-80sqm?) und im Süden hatte er eine gute Aussicht auf die Stadt Lichter in der Nacht und mit Blick auf Surfers Paradies Strand. Die Sauberkeit war ziemlich gut, aber Sie müssen den Schmutz ausnehmen, da es keine Hausaufbewahrung gibt. Amenity-wise, es ist alles mit Ihrem eigenen Waschmaschine, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Der Lobby-Café ist nicht der billigste, aber sehr handvoll, wenn Sie auf einer Tagesreise ausgehen, aber nicht Zeit, um zuerst für Broch in Surfers zu popen.

Booked a one bedroom ocean spa apartment for 6 nights in Mid Oct 2024. Stayed on 38 floor. First impression when entering that apartment was ”great view”. Apartment is spacious and very clean, kitchen facility has stocked with many pot & pan and utensils, can make regular meals with no issue. Also has washer & dryer too. There is a jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom that is a bonus! We brought food from Coles supermarket (walking distance from Q1) and made breakfast and dinner. To get to Q1 resort from Gold Coast airtport, We brought a public transport card ”GO” from shop in airport arrival hall, took the airport bus #777 from airport (30 minutes ride) to Broadbeach, transfer to the local tram, get off at Surfers Paradise stop. Q1 resort is right across the street. The whole ride is last than 45 minutes, cost only 50 cents AUD., great deal!! BTW, all bus & tram ride within Gold Coast area is 50 cents. So get a GO card. Just make sure you tap on and off with each ride.

I was one of the attendees for FurDU 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Gold Coast (11 - 15 May 2023), and I was very pleasantly surprised about my time at the hotel itself. Once I got to the hotel, I went to reception, took a little while to check in, the staff were very friendly and quite helpful. They explained to me some of the key features of the hotel itself, also the fact that I was one of their club members or something, and that I had free internet throughout my stay - which was a bonus - hardly ever used it though. As I walked back to the lift I checked my room number - which had a bit of significance with myself (give you a clue: the angelic number). To get to your floor, just simply tap the card on the scanner, then press the floor, only took a matter of seconds before I reached mine, and not long before I had finally let myself into my room. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, as I placed my bags down I took a quick tour of the room to see what amenities I had. The bathroom was quite spacious, a rather large shower and plenty of towels etc (which came in handy). As I'd spent a long trip getting up to the hotel I was a bit on the sweaty side, so I got a quick change of clothes, had a quick shower (make sure the door clicks all the way in - otherwise you'll end up flooding the bathroom floor which is what I ALMOST did). (There's so much positive stuff to write about the hotel - so I'll keep it short) The bed itself, quite spacious, the pillows themselves were plenty enough, I found that I got a good night's sleep, and in the morning went down had some breakfast - a great selection to choose from, be it from hot food, to pastries, cereal and even fruit and yoghurt. Relish (the restaurant) takes care of breakfast in the morning, plenty of space to sit, have as much as you want to eat for breakfast and get out again. Dinners were absolutely amazing, same spot, the staff were quite friendly, very quick to take my order (had the chicken parmi one night, the burger the next), and a beer or two to drink. The next night I went to the restaurant - I pretty much got the same spot where I sat last time, the wait staff even remembered what kind of beer I had from the night before ... now THAT'S impressive, also one aspect about service that I really enjoyed. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, so much so I honestly cannot wait to return next year to experience it all over again .. In all honesty there's nothing at all I can fault the hotel for .. a full 5 * review from all aspects of the hotel, the staff, the food and beverage and everything they've got to offer. So, if you're looking for a place to stay, be it for a short trip away, or a longer vacation, depends on what you're doing, be it visiting the theme parks or the local attractions, I would, without hesitation, highly recommend your stay at the Crowne Plaza Surfer's Paradise, try and get a room with a high floor facing the beach as the views
