"The hotel is on a lake with beautiful scenery. More like a homestay, there is basically no service, the bedding needs to be paid extra, you must contact the hotel in advance to prepare, otherwise you will not be able to use it if you arrive late. Late arrival time, you need to pick up the key in the key box at the entrance of the service center."

"Excellent hospitality. Did the bike package, which included the suite with balcony, bikes, and three course dinner daily (and breakfast). Food and wine pairing were incredible - unexpected it. Local ingredients, delicious, and well presented - elk potato pancake and smoked trout were great. Service couldn’t be beat. Coming from NYC, didn’t expect to find this high quality of food in rural Sweden. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony to see the view. Thank you!"

"Five months ago, we booked to stay on our way home to Särö from Åre. At 14.30, 30 minutes before our check in opened, we received a phone call that there’ll be a big party with DJ tonight so our sleep will be disturbed. No apology, just an offer of free cancellation. Being the Saturday of week 7 all hotels are fully booked in the region. When I asked why they didn’t give us more notice, I got the answer that they didn’t know how old our children are. I suggested we all need to sleep and that this was the entire purpose of the stay. Still no apology and simply reiterated that’s why they offer the refund. I’ve never before experienced such unacceptable behaviour by a hotel."
