After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by this hostel! It was a quaint little place, with a homely feel. The location was great, only a 12 minute drive from Apollo Bay, with a waterfall around the corner and an empty beach a 5 minute walk away! There’s farm animals around to look at, the place was clean and tidy, with a decent kitchen and communal areas. It is completely self-checkin and we saw no staff while there so be prepared for that! Overall, for the price, I would definitely be rebooking a stay here.

Excellent location for a stop by along the ocean road, 15 minutes drive to Apollo bay, quiet little property located at the foot of mountain and facing the sea, with fantastic ocean view and interesting rock and sand beach The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room of bay view is spacious with a small sitting room and all necessary utensils People just need to bring necessary food and drink to cook for themselves as there is a bit distance from the town center A little advice though: please provide air-conditioner for the accommodations as it’s pretty hot in summer in the room. It’s not comfortable and the guest cannot sleep well in the summer heat

Need to contact the property before the stay as this is fully self check in. And hardly see any staff. The place is very beautiful and very exclusive as it is located not near the main street. Appreciated the owner's effort to maintain this place. We fell in love with this place and the starry night.

Seacroft is undoubtedly one of the most special places I have visited in Australia. It is evident that there is a great effort to keep each piece and shared spaces in perfect condition. You can find beauty in any area of the establishment, it is impressive as the place is surrounded by mountains and at the same time has a very wide view of the ocean. If you are lucky you will be able to see whales and kangaroos. Adding that it is steps away from a beautiful path to a waterfall. I will never forget this beautiful and magic place!

Location is ok for a stop over, but there is nothing around the property for several kilo meters. So u must get take outs if u are planning to stay. Also, there is no coffee in the kitchen (There is a machine in a shed), no room service, no vending machines or food, and no interaction with the people who manage the property of any kind. Also, no wifi so you must use your data wisely if you are travelling. The room was a makeshift sort of a thing just enough to fit a bed. The bedding were dirty and infested. we ended up wearing our jackets and trousers to sleep in the cold. The toilets are shared no matter what room you book and is unisex so you might wanna consider waiting times and awkwardness in the toilet with other strangers. We paid a lot for it as it was around Christmas time, however I would advise anything more than 50$ is a rip off for this property. Might be suitable for backpackers on the roads, but families should avoid it. If its on your way to somewhere, i would recommend a photo stop over.

小木屋非常驚艷，景色很好，海景房。我們是晚上到的，剛進去的時候還覺得有點失望，小屋很小，公共衞浴，第二天早上起床拉開窗簾就被驚艷到了，大片的草坪還有小花，遠方藍色的海，牛和羊駝在悠閑吃草，特別好看，下次還會再來！！

Do yourself a favour, read the reviews and don't stay here. I made a booking a couple of days ago, or so I thought for the night I made it, it defaulted to the week following fir $95. I tried in vain the contact Wotif, and the hotel, no answer. I was on the road and called into Seacroft, the owner was on a flight to Cairns and the place was left in the hands if a lovely French couple. I wanted to be reimbursed for the mistake that was made. Just got notification that the owner won't reimburse me. The booking is still 5 days away. The place is definitely below par. I run an Airbnb in my home and would never treat a customer like this. Buyer beware!!

This is a youth hostel being presented as a hotel. The room had no bathroom, no A/C, not even a fan. No TV, no Wifi. At $250 AUD per night, it is appalling value. It's backpacker accommodation, if it was $75 a night and clearly advertised as a hostel, it would be fine. It's a shame because it's a beautiful location on the Great Ocean Road, but the actual accommodation provided was a joke. Strongly recommend against staying here.

Toilet / Shower facilities are together in a shared block and are atrocious. Showering next to toilet cubicle should be nice. The shower curtain track nearly feel off as it was so rusted. Rooms are small and basic. Great views still are not the saving grace. And room comes with its own spider.

A unique experience, set on the Great Ocean Road. An old monastery is the setting setting in beautiful country side. The rooms are basic old style but they suit the purpose. A community kitchen and shared bathrooms on offer but the price is suitable.

Booked Seacroft last minute and paid 150 for a room. We did not expect anything luxurious for that price. However we were not expecting a dirty run down shoebox backpackers style room. Shocked to discover that the shared bathroom is a caravan park style unisex with only 2 toilets and 3 showers for a large amount of guests. After google reviewing the estate to warn future travelers. The owner made up a completely false storyline about our stay to try and discredit us.

Absolutely shocking room. It was clean but was in total disrepair and shabby. (See photos.) When you pay in the high $300s per night (even if that is a low rate for the location and time of year), you at least deserve walls free from stickers, that are painted properly, and to not have to make your own bed. You also deserve clean bathrooms. Also would not expect dead insects in common rooms — or a big, black live spider above your bed! No care from owner, or the possibility of a cancellation — even though we requested it only hours after booking, due to the fact that the woman I was traveling with was pregnant and realized this wasn't a fit. The owner had our money and she was keeping it at all costs. ...Ruined our last trip before our baby was born. Very sad experience. We cut our stay a night short, due to the room. But like I said: no chance of a cancellation / or even partial refund.... I'm just glad I snapped some pictures during my brief stay so the owner can't deny what it was like. (Which she tried to do.) Good location but beware of the owner (if there are any issues, she will attack you & lie to you — not try to help make it right) — and the quality of some rooms is abysmal.

If i could put no stars to this place I would have done it !!! First of all, this place is way too expensive for what it’s worth. The room has not ocean view, the bathroom is very very dirty, you can hear all the noise from the outside and can’t sleep after 7 am, it stinks in the room (I saw how they do the cleaning after we left and they don’t even change the duvet cover maybe that explains) and the towel they gave us for shower are really stinky. Some tableware they provide are also not clean. Furthermore, the host Sam is very unplaisant and is not honest. To defend herself she pretends she can’t look after every guest in her property (with the dirty dish, for the bathroom she pretends one guest came with dirty shoes once but it is the same everyday) but she would better work and hire some employees because now she is clearly giving up quality to make money.
