Rock Mill - Deluxe Duplex Apartments

I have stayed at this location before and found it quite pleasant however on this occasion I found the apartment to be incredibly small and hot, much more so than the last time I stayed in one of the one bedroom apartments, it had a different layout. So much so that the sofa bed didn't even fit in the room plus it was extremely uncomfortable both as a bed and a sofa. Furthermore the apartment wasn't very clean and I found glasses and plates had food and grime on them, plus there weren't even enough plates and glasses for the number of people. I was so disappointed I left three days early as it just wasn't suitable at all for a family of three. The care after leaving early was poor and in the end I had to get Airbnb to step in who very kindly gave me a refund of the unused nights. There are larger apartments in the building so l'd try those, although if you're just a couple this apartment would be fine size wise. Be wary of the host should anything go wrong though. Even more so be wary about leaving a negative review as they’ll often reply with baseless and defamatory comments and reveal private information about your stay. A shame really as the location is beautiful and accommodation is fairly nice even if it could be much better.

Lovely modern place to stay at in a great location, small walk to a pub and next door is a pizza place. Apartment is well equip with cooking supplies, and is extremely clean. Don’t let the £150 deposit throw you off, it stayed ‘pending’ with our bank and we got it back 48 hours after checking out. Would deffo recommend.
