Mountain View Guest Motel

This campground turned out to be a very pleasant surprise to stay at. The present owners took over this campgrounds four years ago and they really pay attention to the details. You will not find a more delightful and cleaner bathroom and shower area in any other campgrounds. The camping spots themselves are a bit close together like most private campgrounds but the extra decks and gazebos scattered through the campgrounds make up for the closeness of the units. We just had an RV rally at this campgrounds and just about all of the 26 units said this was one of the best campgrounds they’ve ever stayed at. If you were looking for a place for an RV rally, this campground is great for it. They have two buildings for get-togethers. One building is much larger than the other building and they both have full kitchens to prepare food items for the Rally. The covered deck in front of the larger building served as a great meeting place for the Rally. The owners Shawna and Greg we’re very cooperative to work with.

The Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel is a rare find in Mountain View. The accommodations are great, the room was spotless, easy check-in, friendly staff, and a very affordable price. This will be our go-to spot when we are back in the area.

We enjoyed our stay and would probably stay again. We took our camper and getting in and out was easy for us. Location close to town is a plus. Everything seems to be kept up and the upgrades from the new owners is nice. My only complaint/warning would be that there are big dogs that roam loose and they will pee on your tires/anything you leave out. This was an irritant for us - We have dogs and are dog lovers but even our own dogs don't pee on our tires. As campers, you will want to be sure to not leave anything lying around that you don't want peed on.

Made reservation for four nights reluctantly being we are not even people! We had an upper room in their cabin. Walked in and were pleased. Large open room with sliding door to a small but adequate balcony. Two chairs and little table provided. Room was very clean. The bed alarmed us when we went to sit down it felt like a board. Surprise, it was a dense memory foam pad and very, very comfortable. We both have back problems and had unusual great sleep. They do have a kitchen and fitness room we did not checkout. The only con is the very steep metal stairs leading to the room. On the rainy/sleeting day it was slippery. Great stay and would return!

We were looking for a weekend getaway and found this little gem. The booking process and correspondence with owners were very easy and pleasant. During our stay, we had the privilege to meet Shawna and her son Steven, such wonderful people. The facilities and accommodations are fantastic, as is the location.

We stayed in #4 - an upstairs room with a very comfortable king bed and a balcony to see the gorgeous sunrise. The mini-fridge was extra-large and even had a tiny freezer that was large enough for our ice pack for our cooler. Everything was super clean. Ver convenient location. We would definitely sta here again. Warning - if you can’t do a steep metal staircase, you won’t want to stay upstairs. We’re glad we were up higher - the view out back was stunning.

We stayed here for four nights over Easter and were very pleased with our room. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel and will definitely stay here again if in the area.

This is a multi use property with a small RV (40 +/- sites) park, and motel rooms. The park is older but well maintained. The mostly level short cement pads are off gravel access roads. The sites are close together (older RV Park), but there is enough room for slide outs and awnings. Some of the back in spots are occupied by folks that live there, and the pull through sites seem to be for transients. The dated hookups were mostly convenient and functioned properly. Did not try the included cable tv, there were some OTA stations, and a big enough sky for satellite. Their included WiFi was good always providing a signal that was useful.

Our stay far exceeded our expectations. Very CLEAN, well furnished with attention to details. Quiet, relaxing, and so accommodating with anything needed. We were 7 couples in the group and enjoyed visiting outside and loved the non-traditional stay!! If we are back in this area, we will stay again!
