Das positive Vorweg: das Frühstückbuffet ist lecker und erfüllt alle Wünsche. zu den negativen Punkten: - beginnt bei der Anfahrt: es gibt keine markierten Parkplätze vor dem Hotel wo man seine Koffer ausladen und in die Lobby bringen kann. Ebenso fehlt ein Verweis auf die möglichen Parkplätze im nahegelegenen Parkhaus. - unser Zimmer war am Nachmittag um 15 Uhr nicht bezugsbereit und wir mussten uns bis 16.30 Uhr gedulden, damit wir aufs Zimmer konnten. Wir wurden höflich gefragt, ob wir auf die tägliche Reinigung verzichten würden ... wohl ein Personalmangel bei den Putzkräften. - das Zimmer 147 ist ein Witz. Es sieht zwar frisch renoviert und sauber aus, jedoch für eine vierköpfige Familie viel zu klein. Ebenso fehlt ein Fenser mit Tageslicht, das Zimmer befindet sich genau ein halbes Stockwerk unter dem Frühstücksraum im Innenhof des Hotels. Das einzige Fenster zu diesem Innenraum ist verständlicher weise abgemilcht, damit keine Blicke von aussen möglich sind. - Der Zimmerboden vibriert ständig (Bauarbeiten, U-Bahn?) - der vorgeschlagene Parkplatz im Parkhaus kostet trotz Hotelspezialpreis stolze 40 CHF pro Tag Zum Glück bot die Stadt soviel zu sehen, dass wir uns nicht lange im Zimmer aufhalten mussten.

Zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten sehr gut gelegenes, modernes Hotel direkt gegenüber dem Hauptbahnhof. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick Richtung Sonnenuntergang, ein toller Ausblick im Sommer. Das Badezimmer war sehr erfreulich, mit Ablagemöglichkeit am Waschbecken und mit hervorragender Beleuchtung. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr gut. Das Hotel hat einen separaten, abgeschlossenen Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage hinter dem Hotel (39€/24h), empfehlenswert angesichts der Parksituation und Stockholm, zumal die umliegenden Parkhäuser nicht günstiger sind. Im Umkreis von ca. 100m gibt es mindestens ein Dutzend weitere Hotels, von denen uns dieses jedoch am modernsten erschien.

Beste Lage in einer Fußgängerzone! In den Hotelbetten besser geschlafen als zuhause! Toller großer hoher Innensaal, super für das entspannte Frühstücksbuffet geeignet. Sehr nette, hilfreiche, kompetente und freundliche Leute im Service. ”Vintage”-Lift, für den ich zum Liftboy werden könnte. Personal gibt Infos und Tipps zu Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Toller Italiener (”Esperanza”) gleich vor dem Haus für beste Italienische Küche!

Die Scandic Malmen befindet sich in einer tollen Lage für Sehenswürdigkeiten, mit einem U-Bahn-Stopp direkt außerhalb der Tür. Die Anlage ist modern und sauber, mit ausgezeichnetem vollem Frühstück. Das Personal ist professionell und freundlich. Wert ist hervorragend - wir haben 5 Nächte für insgesamt $642. Nur ein Hinweis, wenn Sie nie in Stockholm gewesen sind - mieten Sie kein Auto. Fahren und Parken ist ein Albtraum, und das öffentliche Verkehrssystem ist fantastisch!

Stayed here several days with our tour group. It is located out of downtown Stockholm right beside the Bromma airport, domestic like only. It is right beside a large mall and businesses, groceries, liqour, sporting stores, you name it, so lots of shopping if you desire. Checkin was effortless, staff were friendly and helpful. They have an old funky elevator is used, with a cockpit theme, sort of near and nobody else used so I could go up and down without waiting! Room was average in a sense, the bed was the usual double twin, comfortable and I slept well. Bathroom, shower has the half glass partition and you have large squeege to push the water from you shower back. Only thing, the carpet in room I did not like and it had stains on it. Has onsite bar and breakfast/restaurant. Food was good no issues. This is mainly a business hotel I think, for people overnight in and out.

Gutes Frühstück, empfohlenes Einzelzimmer

I booked their single room without window, as I both have no need for excessive in-room amenities and also greatly enjoy small, cosy places (this is not a sarcastic statement: I truly loved the tiny room). There was enough space in the room for the bed, an additional cutout for a small desk, and the private bathroom was nearly twice the size of the rest of the room itself. The walls were painted in a dark grey or purple, as were the bed dressings. It was a perfect, cosy little nook in which I could sleep and unwind a little. Their breakfast is pretty standard fare, no complaints nor highlights. I was content with the mini croissants, yoghurt and fruit; though an unsweetened yoghurt option would have been nice (but again, not a complaint). One issue I have however is with the parking fees. It is advertised on the hotels.com website, as well as the English version of the hotel's own site that parking is SEK100,-/day. However, their internal system, and as I later found while verifying, their Swedish website both state SEK150,-/day. I did not follow up on this until the next day as I arrived late in the evening and checked the listings after having checked in. The monetary difference is negligible, however this was frustrating to be presented with at the point of payment and not updated across the platforms this hotel advertises on. When I asked at the desk about it and showed the FD staff the hotels.com and English version of their site with the lower amount, I was given an apologetic look and the professional version of throwing one's hands up in helplessness. I don't expect grovelling nor immediate refunds (I have read r/TalesFromtheFrontDesk for long enough) but at least a mention that it will be sent up the chain of command would allay my feeling of being misled. Parking in any case is in an underground lot accessible via your hotel card key.
