"We were concerned by a few reviews mentioning traffic and train noise as the cottages are located on the main highway through the little town of Stevenson. We stayed in Cottage #4, one of the 2 located to the rear of the property, which have the wonderful large, deep outdoor tubs on the back decks (the tub filled quickly with plenty of hot water). Nice soft robes were provided. While there is definitely traffic and train noise, it was cool enough at night that we had the windows closed and the noise was not all that bothersome. If you're really concerned about it, Cottage #3 probably has the least noise due to its location. The interior of the cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated with a Scandinavian motif. The small kitchenette was well-equipped. We decided to sleep in the loft for a unique experience, with the sunlight coming in through high windows in the front and back, and a peekaboo view of the distant scenery (we like to rise with the sun). The location is perfect for the many activities available in the area, with the beautiful old Bridge of the Gods nearby. Stevenson is a quaint town with great local eateries within a few minutes walking distance of Artbliss. It's also only about a 20 minute drive to Hood River. Tom was quick to reply to questions we had by email. Highly recommended!"
