Unwind in this cozy hideaway overlooking the rolling hills & valleys just south of Chewelah. Enjoy a steaming cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine while mother nature paints the sky and various wildlife roam. Although shops & restaurants are only a short drive away, the area offers peace and tranquility. Please note, this is not an apartment. The Cozy Clifftop View is dog friendly & nestled on 40 acres surrounded by trees and fields. This secluded atmosphere will help you unwind and relax after a day of shopping locally or experiencing the many outdoor activities the area offers. There is a private propane fire pit and 2 chairs for enjoying the view when weather permits. You'll stay will consist of a private bathroom on the second floor above a detached garage has a stand-up shower, sink, and toilet. The space comes standard with queen bed to sleep 2 comfortably. For those traveling with friends, parent, children or an additional guest, we offer 2 folding twin beds with 5" mattress . (Must request additional beds during booking and allow us time to set it up) Guests with children, please be aware the property is on a cliff/hilltop. The property is not fenced. Guests are responsible for the safety and well-being of their children. Host is relieved of all responsibility. The room has a small kitchenette area has SS refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and toaster for your convenience. Please note this is NOT an apartment. It does not have a stove for cooking hot meals. We offer occasional snacks such as protein bars, popcorn, and/or oatmeal to get you through your first night. We include coffee/filters, tea, and creamer. We have excellent well water which you can obtain from the bathroom sink for drinking/coffee or bring your own. Guests are not required to wash their dishes. Host provides a tote for the dirty dishes. For guests staying long periods, we ask that you place them in the tote & leave them at the bottom of the stairs when you need them washed. We will return them ASAP. In the rear of the unit, there is a propane grill and a propane firepit for your evening enjoyment during Spring to early Fall. (Seasonal) We are a pet friendly family and offer our booking to those traveling with dogs. Sorry but we cannot accommodate cats at this time. Please let me know if you are bringing pets. Pets will be billed an extra $25 per stay. Failure to notify host will result in a $50 additional fee for cleaning. There are no fences or confinements for pets. Pet owners are responsible for picking up after their pets and keeping their pets safe and on the premises. Cleaning up after your pet is appreciated. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET IN THE UNIT UNATTENDED. Leaving your pet is not permitted.Wi-Fi is available for streaming to a Smart TV. Factors associated with small town/rural area will affect the availability and you will experience buffering or no internet at all. Guests will be provided an uncovered, private parking site close to the entrance. It is located to the left of the two-car garage. We can accommodate an additional vehicle if notified of the need. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: Our property is located approximately a mile off Farm to Market once you turn in Iverson way. You will drive through our neighbor's yard about halfway up the driveway. You will climb 400 feet to the top! The view is worth the drive. We’re excited to have you as our guests. This is a rural mountain area and appropriate transportation is required especially during adverse weather. Guests assume full responsibility for the ability to navigate rural areas. We do try to keep the road plowed during winter but we do work full time so it may not be plowed until the evening. Please plan appropriately for adverse weather conditions. Occasionally, we do experience power interruptions. Host is not responsible for acts of nature that may interrupt your stay. Private, serene waterfront property on beautiful Deer Lake. The house sits within 100 feet of the waterfront and your personal beach. Being on the north side of the lake, and a south facing property you will have ample sunshine to enjoy. Also included is a floating dock directly in front of the house. The dock and beach may be personal, but the views and memories are made to be shared. Bring your camera, favorite book, and loved ones to fully enjoy this wonderful location. This family owned lake house is separated into two levels with the lower level being totally for your personal use. The owner will use the upper level from time to time, but most often you will find yourself alone. Within 45 min drive of downtown Spokane you will find yourself close enough to be connected but far enough away to enjoy yourself.With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths you will have plenty of space to share. Two of the bedrooms include queen beds, roomy closets, and beautiful views of the lake. The third bedroom includes a bunk bed with additional floor mattresses. The first bathroom includes a walk in shower, while the second bathroom provides a shower/tub combo for any little ones. The entire house is finished in deep rich natural woods which only adds to feeling of comfort.A spacious living room with section couch and TV provide the central location for all your indoor activities. A dining area provides additional space next to the full kitchen complete with all appliances, dishware, and flatware. You provide your own food, which always seems tests better at the lake. A full washer and dryer are available for your use in the laundry room directly off of the kitchen. All linens and towels are provided for your convenience.French doors lead from the living room and kitchen area out to the spacious patio complete with dining furniture, lounge chairs, propane grill, and sweeping views of the lake and evergreen carpeted mountains. Sunsets are best enjoyed from outside and best enjoyed with a drink of your choice.Deer Lake is a clean, clear spring-fed lake with great fishing and light boating traffic. The water near the beach is quite shallow allowing for wading. This is a child friendly location. The dock reaches out to deeper water for those with watercraft. Guests are welcome to bring their own watercraft, please confirm with owner on watercraft specifications (size, draft, etc.).Wi-fi is provided and cell coverage is available at the lake house. Deer lake has so much to offer. Within minutes of the lake house are wonderful scenic hiking trails, small town window shopping, wine tasting, movie theaters, and numerous more activities outdoor and indoor. This is a beautiful location for all times of the year. Located only 30 min away from one of Washington's largest ski areas, the lake house is an ideal ski vacation home as well.This is a Non-Smoking rental.The owner lives at home which is within an 60 min drive and therefore is readily available to help with any questions or concerns.
