Just got in, traveling for work at Microsoft company booked here usually candlewood is great this is the worst. Room is roomy but whole second floor smells like cat piss including my room let the front know they didn't offer to move me only said they'll checK it tomorrow and clean the carpets. I requested first floor due to having my service dog with me said they didn't have any rooms but I seen several empty. Other guest coming in were complaining about the smell on the second floor even the maintenance man who already had to come up to fix the ac in my room. Just because I have a dog, he's a service working dog not a pet we shouldn't be down graded to these conditions. Would not recommend and if not moved I will try to move hotels or find an Airbnb. I'm suppose to be here for 3 months . Do better sterling location..

I’d like to begin by letting you know the lady at the front desk that checked me in was very sweet, professional, and empathetic. Even though she had to deliver bad news to me, the sting wasn’t there because of how she treated me. I was so tired that it forgot to get her name. We book a room with two double beds because we are traveling with two children. When we checked in at 11:00 PM, after driving for seven hours, I was informed they sold out of all the room types I had already paid for. They gave us a king room with a couch. I let the gal know we had two children and she said she would give extra bedding. When we got to the room, which is quite nice, the couch wasn’t at all as one would expect. It’s three modular cubes. When I picked up the extra bedding, there was enough for only one child. Thankfully we had extra blankets and pillows in our car so we could make a padded area on the floor for child #2. When it was time to sleep we realized the curtain doesn’t close, so the room became quite bright earlier in the morning than we were needing, because there weren’t the type of curtains that completely cover the window. Our bathroom door will not stay closed because it doesn’t latch. The king size bed is nice and the bedding is very nice. The drawers are spacious. We have a refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, and a microwave oven. All work perfectly. There is a space to hang up clothes and a rack above to store luggage. In anticipation of hungry children, I pre-toasted bagels before leaving home and slightly warmed them in the microwave before spreading on the cream cheese. Happy belly’s. (I know, not a healthy breakfast, but it did the job.) we brought along Go-Go Squeeze fruit purées, Danimals drinkable yogurt, and fizzy waters for snacking. We are about to check out the pool, so right now I can’t comment on that.

Wonderful place to stay if you are leaving from dulles or have any other reason to be in the area. Clean, large room, very quiet. The staff was superb, and the breakfast was very good. Real food, not pre-packaged pastries. They are pet-friendly. When I come back into the country, I will be staying here again!

Ein paar Nächte für eine nahe bei der Hochzeit. Gutes Größe Zimmer, komfortable Bett (auf der weichen Seite, aber ich mag weichen), separater Desk/Sofabereich mit mini-Kühlschrank, Tauchschrank und Mikrowelle. Decent WiFi, normale TV-Kanäle. Für Frühstück (die um 6 Uhr begonnen wurde!) Es gab eine Wahl von zwei warmen Einzel-Service-Optionen. Während ich dort war, würde ein Ei + Fleisch, das andere Ei ohne Fleisch. (Frühstückssandwiche, Mini-Quiches, etc.). Auch Joghurt, Getreide, Kaffee. Kleines Fitnesszimmer, Innenpool. Der Pool war beliebt mit Kindern von dem, was ich bemerkte. Kleine Fläche neben dem Frontdesk, wo Sie Snacks und Komfort-Objekte kaufen konnten. Nicht viel in der unmittelbaren Umgebung, vielleicht können Sie zu einem Gasstation gehen, aber solange Sie ein Auto haben es ist ein schneller Fahrt zu Einkaufen und Restaurants. Sehr bequem zum Flughafen Dulles, sie haben auch ein Shuttle.

This hotel is very close to the airport (about a 5 minute drive). I did see the hotel shuttle to the airport in front of the hotel but we did not use this service. The hotel seemed very clean in the common areas. The breakfast was okay with the standard offerings, waffles, eggs, sausage, juice, etc. and it did start at 6am even on the weekends. The room was comfortable with the sink outside of the bathroom which I always find helpful when traveling. Wifi was fine and I had no issues connecting. My only negative was the first day I wanted hot water from the coffee bar in the lobby and I tried 3 different times, hours apart and never did get a cup until the next night. I could have asked but didn't. Overall I was satisfied with my stay and I would stay here again if traveling out of Dulles Airport.
