Everything was good. The little kitchenette was cute. My only complaint was that they didn't have any napkins or paper towels for us to use when we had dinner in our room. We just had a tissue box and toilet paper. I thought that was odd. What if we spilled something, how would we clean it up? I wouldn't use the white towels because it would stain cleaning up something like pop or wine.

We started staying at this hotel in 2020. The hotel has really went downhill. The rooms are clean, but there is a musty terrible smell. The coffee and cocktail bar is terrible with limited hours and poor service. We are done staying there and will stay somewhere else next visit to St. Cloud. It’s really very sad. The staff are nice.

I stay here once a year and I always like it. However, they have changed the parking policy. There is an adjacent parking ramp and you use to be able to rent a space at the front desk. Now the hotel can only rent out a few parking spaces on the lower level. I said, but I know my slot number, can't you reserve that space for me? "No, the city prefers you to park on the lowest level." "I was just there, there are no spots on the lowest level. Can I reserve the space I am in?" "Well, the city prefers you to park on the lower level." "What does 'prefer' mean? Will I be ticketed if I park somewhere else? "Probably not, but I can't guarantee it." If you don't think this exchange is worthy of a four-star review instead of a five, then you have more patience than I do. One other small note, the rooms are clean and well-furnished. However, there is not a single USB charging port in the room.

This used to be a nice place. It’s showing it’s age. A group of us were here for business and all of us had furniture that was so badly worn the “pleather” was peeling away from the fabric in multiple places. My tub had ground in stains, and my A/C unit was loud and annoying. Front desk staff was friendly. Until this place gets renovated or new furniture - stay away.

The room smelled terribly, like a combination of cigarettes and must. We were charged additional charges without an explanation or receipt when all we did was check in, stay one night, and check out. Feel scammed and would not recommend.

The location is great. Near bars, restaurants, shopping, and the Civic Center. The room was clean, but very dated and beat-up. Time for a refresh! During renovations, they could take the opportunity to improve noise levels. The troop of kids running up and down the halls was a herd of elephants. Not a terrible experience, but don't expect anything fancy. Overall: Meh.

The hotel is literally across the street from the Convention Center. If you have something going on there, it would be a good choice for convenience. The rooms are spacious, and the temperature climate was easy to control. Bed was comfortable. Covered parking is nice in our MN climate. Staff has been very helpful. With that said, the hotel needs to spend some money and make some updates. The furniture is quite worn out and the carpet has seen much better days. TVs are not internet equipped so no watching Netflix or streaming any movies. There are a number of restaurants in the area but at least the one we went to also needed to clean up and update.

I booked through a block with my college fraternity reunion at the Red Carpet. KASSIDI ANDRES the director of sales was accommodating and actually allowed us to book outside of policy generally for blocks. The room was above what we expected others in our party felt the same way. A couple items in our room was overdue to replacement/repair but this was minor. And I happen to know compared to other hotels in the area this was 4 stars while the rest struggle to touch 2 even other downtown options. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They printed off items we needed for our event without complaint and went above and beyond the make sure we got what we needed.
