Wir waren für drei Nächte im Takuma und es war unglaublich. Es war sicher. Das Essen von Frau Carole war FANTASTISCH!! Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Der Pool hatte eine tolle Temperatur. Ehrlich gesagt war das Essen viel besser als in den Resorts.

Das Personal war freundlich, aber dies ist kein Hotel und die angebotenen Annehmlichkeiten waren nicht verfügbar. Es gibt keine zwei Restaurants, keine Kunstgalerie, kein Feinkostgeschäft vor Ort und kein Einkaufszentrum vor Ort. Die Poolbar ist geschlossen. Die einzige offene Bar befindet sich 4 Stockwerke höher. Wir baten darum, die Flasche herunterbringen zu lassen, damit die ältere Dame dabei nicht auf und ab gehen muss, und füllten eine halbe Pint-Flasche für 100 Dollar Graugans auf. Das Abendessen wurde von Frau Carol zubereitet und war köstlich, aber mit 30,00 $ pro Teller viel zu teuer. Als wir in ein lokales Restaurant gingen, wurde uns nicht halb so viel berechnet und wir wurden häufig überprüft. Beim Abendessen wurde uns im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes Wasser zum Essen angeboten und niemand überprüfte uns, also standen wir einfach auf, sagten gute Nacht und gingen. Zum Glück war dies nur eine Nacht. Und sie sollten sich darüber im Klaren sein, was sie vor Ort anbieten und haben. Omar, Paulette und Carol sind großartig. Für den Service gebe ich ihnen eine 5, aber für alles andere gebe ich ihnen eine 1 … Der Poolbereich ist schön, aber der Pool war etwas schmutzig. In der Gegend gibt es absolut nichts zu unternehmen, es sei denn, man hat Transpor**ittel. Es war nicht so, wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Glücklicherweise waren wir für unseren Aufenthalt in einem anderen Hotel und dies war unsere letzte Nacht. Sehr unzufrieden und werde weder umbuchen noch weiterempfehlen. Ach ja, und es gibt auch keine Kunstgalerie vor Ort.

False advertisement. Not what was offered. Thought this was a hotel and suite. It’s someone’s home they turned into rooms to rent. after I checked in the guy said oh someone is in the other room. Also, he said the premises shuts down at 11pm. Like really we’re on vacation and again it’s a private home so you can’t get it like that. We ran out of there so early the next morning. Would never recommend.

Takuma Boutique Hotel is a hidden gem in within Mt Zion community, within the backdrop of nature, mountains and prestine beach views.Our stay at Takuma was refreshing, relaxing and overall enjoyable. We stayed 6 nights, ate wonderfully prepared meals by Ms Carol, made from local fare, fruits straight off the trees around the hotel, and vegetables picked from her gardens. If you want authentic Jamaican meals prepared with love and wonderful spices this is the place to be. Mr Gus was wonderful and attentive if we needed anything and advised us of local beaches, trails for ATV and horseback riding right up the mountain. This is the best place to stop to quench your thirst as Mr Gus makes the best Rum Punch you will ever drink, you may not be able to stop at one. Mr Oren oversaw the daily happenings on the grounds, music to move your soul to nightly poolside moveis, and advised us of places to go and places to stay away from. Overall Mr Oren, Ms Carol and Mr Gus were such a delight to get to know and spend the week with. I am sad to be leaving this beautiful paradise, but know I will be back to vist very soon. Thank you for making our vacation so excusite.

This is someone's house that ia next to an open graveyard and lil shack houses with goats running around . Left from New York to Motego Bay Jamaica 1500 miles to come to a nightmare. (Halloween in November. )

Or go when i pleased without Getting in contact with the host on site house manager to open the house gate . Or to get into my room without the house managers persmission
.This place is a hazard for your Health. Possible gas leaks, destruction from renovation, Refrigerator does not work. Ordered food and never got it and made me pay $20usd
