Our house is located in Newport Harbor, a peaceful quiet location very close to Douglas and Saugatuck downtowns and to the Douglas and Saugatuck beaches. With wide open spaces in the front and the back, it is pleasurable for early rises and sunset watchers. The sun rises behind the Kalamazoo River and the deck looks at a pond where the sun sets.The location is also great for bicycling and canoeing. We have 4 single person kayaks, a 3 seat canoe and a dock to launch them into the Kalamazoo River leading to the Saugatuck Harbor area, and Michigan Lake. The beaches and Saugatuck is 3 miles if one wants to bicycle.With four spacious bedrooms, each with a walk in closet, a large living room with a vaulted ceiling it can accommodate large groups up to 10 people.
