Dies war die beste Unterkunft, in der ich während meiner Okinawa-Reise übernachtet habe. Sie war so schön, dass ich es fast bereut habe, aufgrund meines Zeitplans nur eine Nacht bleiben zu können. Ich war von allem begeistert: der traditionellen okinawanischen Fassade, den für japanische Häuser typischen Tatami-Matten und der gepflegten, modernen Küche und dem Badezimmer. Der Strand hinter der Unterkunft war aufgrund der dichten Vegetation etwas schwer zu erreichen, aber ich fühlte mich sofort wohl, als ich ins Wasser trat. Es gab ausreichend Handtücher, und eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner und Waschmittel waren vorhanden – ideal, um meinen Badeanzug nach dem Schwimmen zu waschen. Dank Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Toaster konnte ich mir bequem Essen von außerhalb aufwärmen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei, und der Wasserdruck war gut, sodass ich einen angenehmen Aufenthalt ohne jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten hatte. Es regnete die ganze Nacht, aber ich wachte vom lauten Zirpen der Grillen vor der Unterkunft auf. Mein Kind meint, dies sei die schönste Unterkunft gewesen, in der wir je gewohnt haben. Der einzige Wermutstropfen während unseres Aufenthalts war, dass es beim Einchecken etwas schwierig war, die Tür zu öffnen. Es ist eine manuelle Tür, die man mit einem Schlüssel öffnet, aber ich glaube, das Schloss ist so klein, dass es sich nicht so anfühlt, als ließe sie sich leicht öffnen. Wir hatten so große Schwierigkeiten, die Tür zu öffnen, dass wir einen ausländischen Gast im Nachbarhaus um Hilfe bitten mussten. Er erzählte, dass er beim ersten Mal auch Probleme damit hatte.

The floor made of wooden planks makes every step you walk sound loud. The office for check-in is on another location further up. Need to email them before you reach and wait for them to reply. I waited for quite long but no reply and in the end I get some other local at a restaurant to help me to call them. In the end they came to pick us up. There are washing machine, fridge and a small kitchen.

The location is 5/5 because it is very close to the Churami Aquarium. Else, finding nice and cozy food to eat can be a challenge. View wise, we are close to the sea, but there was construction, so you can imagine ... No complaints on cleanliness. Service wise, there is not a single service staff, so we are lucky we do not need help. Thus 3/5. I do not understand the instruction to enter the lobby after 10 pm, or it was not updated. Facilities-wise, not much as a service apartment. The shower ”column” in the master bedroom is really small ..., all the basins are at the wrong height, just too low. I need to bend more than 90 degrees to reach the tap and I am not tall. The redeeming point is that Family Mart is just beside the lobby. Parking is very ample and convenient.

Beautiful view and nice public bathhouse, but no cold plunge. The rooms are old and unrefined. Only two bright white overhead lights that cannot be dimmed, plus a single lamp on the nightstand that must be unplugged in order to plug in anything else near the beds, which are uncomfortable and creaky. Futon sets in the Japanese/Western room can only be used “with permission” and at an additional charge. Mini fridge sits on top of a baking sheet. Security latch for door does not have a corresponding part and is therefore is useless.

It’s as advertised - little white cabins (around 8 of them) with its own parking space that should cater up to 2-3 cars that are not too far off from the main road but you won’t be disturbed by the driving noise or neighbours. The reception is also in a cabin that’s to your right when driving into the accommodation site. Our booking was payment on site (not prepaid) but the WiFi was down during check-in so had to pay cash - just take note if your booking is the same as ours. Not wheelchair or stroller friendly as there are steps leading to the door of your cabin. Cleanliness definitely can be improved but it’s bearable for 1 night stay. The amenities are not bad, comes with washing machine with detergent though no dryer. The kettle/boiler of our cabin was not in good condition as we bought water from the nearby Lawson. There’s 2 single beds & a sofa bed expandable to a queen size bed, so can fit 4 adults, but the sofa bed is not that comfortable as the centre has sunken quite a bit. There’s a frosted window in the shower that’s without curtain so showering is a bit weird, constantly aware of anyone is looking in.. Lawson is very close by, walkable but if you have your own car, just save the hassle & drive down. Not many restaurants or supermarkets around the area, so you’ll have to drive to get around. Overall, decent stay for 1 night at very reasonable price but cleanliness is something I hope they can improve greatly on.

In einem kleinen Dorf ist die Umgebung gut, sehr ruhig, aber es gibt eine gewisse Entfernung vom Strand, die für eine Autofahrt geeignet ist. Im Vergleich zu den Hotels in der Stadt ist das Zimmer sehr groß und der Preis ist gut

A budget option for travellers. Small but fine room. There’s a washing machine. Beds are fine. Location is great. Strongly suggested the breakfast option.

Zuerst kam es mir schrecklich vor: ein muffiger Geruch im Flur, Schmutz, Schimmelspuren an der Decke und dem Duschvorhang, ich wollte sogar gehen. Aber nach und nach gewöhnte ich mich daran, das Personal war sehr höflich, das Gelände ist auf seine Art gemütlich, es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank im Zimmer, ein Fön ist in einer Schublade versteckt. Der Ort hat eine besondere, einzigartige Atmosphäre, ich habe die Küche mit einer Serviette gewaschen und dort frischen Fisch und Toast zubereitet.

I got so many problems during the check in session and I was really disappointed about the arrangement. I did not received any check in guideline from the hotel before the check in day. When I arrived the location, i released that it is a residential apartment. I called the hotel hotline for help, a lady picked up my call, but claimed no one can speak English. She insisted no one can help me for check in. I called her 4 times, and also keep sending an email and messages asked for a check in guideline, but still no one can help. I can only called Trip.com CS for help, and it was already 00:00 at midnight. I was with my 6 year old son, hang out on the street. Under the assistance from Trip.com, with over 10 calls back and forth, I can finally got in the room, but it's already 2:30am. I spent 3 hours to check in the room.
