Great location near the local museum at the north gate. It’s a steep climb around 100 steps to the mid valley hotel. It’s worth the ascent as you are rewarded with breathtaking view of the whole village. This minsu is one of the rare few built with concrete, so no worries that it’s not soundproof. Moreover if you are a cat lover, you can play with more than 2 dozen cats there. Their courteous and friendly staff will contact you (provided you have a local number ) in advance to help with heavy luggage, else a porter delivery service at a nominal fee of 15 CNY at the entrance can save you the trouble of lugging it on cobblestone footpath on the way from the bus stop. It’s a short walk of 500 m to reach the meeting place. The minsu is well furnished with aircon and the usual amenities. No breakfast is served but there is no lack of food nearby.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in Xijiang und dieses von einem Freund empfohlene B&B hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Am Tag der Unterbringung wurden alle meine Fragen zum Transport, Essen und zur Unterkunft beantwortet. Wir kamen am Terminal an, bevor es regnete, und der kleine Bruder wartete bereits, um uns abzuholen. Wir waren angenehm überrascht, als wir das B&B betraten. Der erste Stock war voller Blumen, die von der Besitzerin und zwei süßen Katzen gepflanzt wurden. Die Kinder liebten sie sehr und streichelten sie ständig. Nachdem ich eingecheckt und das Zimmer betreten hatte, stellte ich fest, dass die Hardware dieses B&B sehr leistungsstark ist, vergleichbar mit dem Smart Home eines Fünf-Sterne-Hotels, und es ist sehr sauber und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Draußen regnete es, mein Mann und ich tranken Tee und aßen lokales Barbecue auf dem Balkon, und die Kinder lachten und spielten um uns herum. Es war sehr komfortabel. Ich werde das nächste Mal auf jeden Fall hier übernachten. This has been the best hotel we've been to in China so far! The host was so kind to upgrade us to an incredible room for free, the view was exceptional, the bath was warm, everything worked perfectly and we had a great time. The host is clearly a very good person that cares a lot, he had excellent communication, he suggested some restaurants and a very helpful local route. He even brought us coffee to the room in the morning! The location of the hotel is ideal, only 2 minutes walk up the hill from the main street. We struggled to decide how far up the mountain we should stay, this hotel was prefect: high enough for a perfect view but not too high to be far away from restaurants or difficult to get to. If we are forced to add a suggestion, we would say electric blankets on the beds for winter. We would very much recommend this hotel, you will be well looked after!

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff are very helpful to guide you to the hotel location - it is located within the Miao scenic area so you need to buy ticket and travel by shuttle bus. It is very easy with the help of the hotel. The hotel is in an AMAZING location on top of the hill. Our room had views over the whole village and valley, I think it’s one of the best views from a hotel room I’ve ever had. Room was big, very clean and nice bed and bathroom. Very highly recommend that you stay here!! Miao village is so relaxing and nice, lovely streets to wander and friendly people.

Es war sehr günstig, den Bus vom Guyang Longdongbao International Airport nach Xijiang Qianhu Miaozhai Village zu nehmen. Der Busstopp war am Nordgate und glücklicherweise war das Hotel nahe. Nach dem Kauf eines Tickets im Ticketbüro nahm ich den Shuttlebus und ging am Eingang des Dorfes, wo mich das Hotelpersonal persönlich begrüßte. Da es nahe der Hauptstraße liegt und keine Bergreise erfordert, ist es ein toller Ort für die älteren oder Familien mit Kindern. Die Aussicht aus meinem Zimmer war atemberaubend, mit einer Panoramablick auf das Dorf. Der Besitzer war nicht im Hotel, aber sie antwortete sofort über WeChat. Als das Wi-Fi in meinem Zimmer auf der fünften Etage Probleme am ersten Tag hatte, bewegte er mich am nächsten Tag zum sechsten Etage. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Der einzige Abstand war, dass es Winter war, und es regnete und die Temperatur auf meinem Besuch erheblich sinkt, so dass es für zwei Tage sehr kalt war. Das Zimmer war groß, also auch mit der Heizung am ganzen Tag war es noch kalt. Ich denke, sie müssen eine andere Lösung für den Winter finden. Ich hatte einen guten 2-Tages- Aufenthalt.

Thanks to Trip.com for this wonderful hotel. All of us (4 pax) LOVED this hotel. Very strategically located amongst food centers, shops and local activities. Views from this hotel is fantastic...accentuated by the river and lights at night. Again, our stays exceeded the HIGH 5 Star ratings.... Ms Chen, Manager of the hotel is EXTREMELY helpful and resourceful in giving valuable suggestions thus making our stay, a delightful vacation. Well done, Ms Chen, an original Miao native and her efficient team, Ms Wu and others. Wonderful staff, including housekeeping... Definitely, will recommend to visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and staying at Xijiang Story Resort Hotel is a Super Plus advantage. Was upset to see a receptionist with a cigarette bite smoking while handling my check-in process and sitting on a armed leather officer chair ( he’s the BOSS) Its still need a way to become an internationally friendly hotel.location is very good just 3 mins walking to the sightseeing bus terminal. Breakfast is just a simple bun and soup. Construction going on surrounding so a bit noisy from morning. If you can speak Chinese, call them when you arrive and they’ll come help carrying your luggage’s, otherwise help yourself to get your breathing. The young staff helped me down at checkout so thank you indeed. I’m not sure but if you’re not on the top floor, there won’t be any view at all, so ask for 3rd floor. There was no table in the room, just a smoking table outside the balcony so I couldn’t use my computer since it’s raining and cold outside. Instead there was a bathtub in the room, 😂

環境:裝修風格很棒，環境優美，隨手一拍就能出片 服務:全程管家式服務，行李接送提供遊玩攻略，特別的貼心 強烈推薦山灣花語民宿！環境舒適，公共露台觀景位置很好，閑暇可以在房間內看到苗寨風景。到的時間已經是下午了，民宿管家熱情貼心，這幾天天氣炎熱，小哥主動協助搬運行李，苗寨台階多真的省了很多力氣，小哥哥還給我們拿了礦泉水，服務的十分到位，客房房間打掃到位，進房間就能感覺到客服大姐打掃的細心，通風透氣的房間很舒適、點贊點贊點贊，強烈推薦。

The hotel room is very clean and tastefully decorated. It is exactly as described and pictures shown on website. There is a courtyard and viewing terrace on the 3rd floor. The balcony is the photographer’s paradise. It has the traditional Miao houses on one side and the field terrace on the other. The location is on the first main road facing the field on a flat surface. But most accommodations are located on narrow lanes and has to climb up irregular steps. The owner is very kind and considerate, he especially cares for the seniors. He came to the 1st bridge to help us carried our luggage all the way to our room and did the same when we check out. He order food for us when we wanted to eat in the hotel room. Promptly replied us if we need help. We enjoyed our stay and felt like home. We wish to go back again and highly recommend it.

The hotel is located on top of a hill giving stunning views over Xijiang Village and its terraces. Be warned, it requires a couple hundred steps to reach the hotel and the road can be confusing the first few times, a good fitness level is required. There is a possibility to take an electric car to the hotel but it is very infrequent and you often have to wait a long time for it to depart. For me, waking up with this incredible view was worth climbing all the steps everyday. The room had all the necessary amenities, a comfortable bed and the airconditioning/heater was working as expected. I would stay here again.
