"We stayed prior to flying from terminal 5 to Jersey.On arrival we were met by Paul, the owner who showed us to our room.Paul is a lovely person, friendly and helpful.Our room was beautifully decorated in a boutique style All facilities were in the room including tea and coffee making.Paul offers a shuttle service to the airport but we took a bus which stops nearby and the service is cheap and frequent. We parked our car at the lodge which was left in situ. When we fly from Heathrow again we will stay at the Lodge.Thank you Paul for your wonderful customer care at this little gem."

"A great place to stay I had the small clean very cosy room in the middle o 1st floor(last floor) with very comfortable bed.The staff especially lady was very friendly and helpful. At least the breakfast(full English)was delicious . Definitely come back."

"Ein Stern für das bequeme Bett und die Nähe zum Flughafen Heathrow. Das Zimmer war eiskalt, das Badezimmer noch kälter. Das Frühstück war erbärmlich (billiges Weißbrot, nur Vollmilch, Instantkaffee). Die Heizung war Ende Dezember abgestellt. Die Antwort auf unsere Bewertung auf *********** war flapsig, unhöflich, sarkastisch und unprofessionell. Mehrere andere Bewertungen in diesem Forum bemängeln ebenfalls kalte Zimmer und ein unzureichendes Frühstück."

"We booked to stay at the Lodge Stanwell Heathrow. We were greeted by Paul with a very warm welcome and shown to our room. We had a room on the ground floor which was very clean and beautiful decorated with ensuite shower room with toiletries and crisp fresh towels. There was a cupboard with tea, coffee, hot chocolate including a coffee machine and biscuits fresh filtered water, glasses and napkins. We asked Paul for some plates and cutlery to eat our takeaway which were delivered promptly to our room. We ordered breakfast which arrived on time on two trays with orange juice, yogurt, full English and Eggs benedick nicely cooked too! the Hollandaise sauce was delicious! Both dishes beautiful presented under a sliver cloche which tasted delicious. There were a covered butter dish, marmalade hot toast fresh coffee and tea all delivered to our room. Our room overlooked the garden which is beautiful with striped lawn. The lodge is side on with the road with a large hedge making it very private. The bed was very comfortable with the linen smelling fresh just like when you take it off the washing line. Thank you, Paul we will be back. The lodge is much nicer than the other hotels down the bath road more personalised with Paul answering any questions we had. We also had the plesure of meeting Alfie the parrot and Monty the maine coon cat who is very very big and friendly boy! They are not in the main hotel they live with Paul on site."

"We have used Heathrow Cottages a few times and always had a really good experience. What I would suggest is to ring up and speak to the owner direct for pricing and information. Really secure car parking, a great night sleep, a lovely fresh breakfast and transport to and from the airport. I think the prices are fair to, by the time you consider paying for a general airport car park, a nights stay in a B&B, and then a taxi ride, we much prefer staying here. The owner will also advise on travel time from the B&B depending on which terminal you are flying from."

"Die Lage am Heathrow Terminal 5 war hervorragend. Wir kamen sehr spät an, nachdem unser Flug aus Athen Verspätung hatte – erst gegen 1:00 Uhr nachts. Uns wurde unser Zimmer gezeigt: ein großes Zimmer mit Fernseher und einem Kühlschrank, der mit Getränken, Bier und Wasser gefüllt war. Auch Snacks standen bereit – ein wirklich toller Bonus nach einem langen Reisetag. Das Badezimmer war ausgezeichnet, und es waren Pflegeprodukte vorhanden. Ein schönes Zimmer mit einem gewissen Charme. Das Frühstück war zwar einfach, aber es gab Müsli, Kekse, Orangensaft und Tee – alles, was wir für unsere lange Rückreise nach Nord-Devon brauchten."
