Del Mar Apartments in Stalis

Eine schöne Wohnung direkt an der ***** in Stalis. Wundervoller Besitzer Deppi, der so hilfsbereit und nett war. Wir hatten in der Wohnung alles, was wir brauchten. Ich hatte sogar einen Haartrockner mit Diffusor, was für mein lockiges Haar großartig war. Das Bett war so bequem. Bettwäsche von toller Qualität. Kann um zusätzliche Kissen bitten. Der Balkon war großartig und bot Platz zum Trocknen von Kleidung, Handtüchern usw. sowie einen Tisch und Stühle. Wir entschieden uns für einen Blick auf die Berge, da wir nicht über dem Pool sein wollten, also wurde dies für uns organisiert. Entlang des Pools gibt es Sonnenliegen. Am Pool gibt es einen Ort, an dem man Speisen und Getränke bekommen kann, der von einer netten Dame betrieben wird. Ich kann es auf jeden Fall empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall versuchen, wieder hier zu übernachten, wenn wir wieder auf Kreta sind.

Wir haben unsere Zeit hier geliebt. Nagelneu, bequeme Betten, großer Glasbalkon, geräumig und sehr ruhig. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Zentral für Spaziergänge und ganz in der Nähe des Strandes. Klimaanlage kostenlos. Deppy, der Besitzer, war sehr nett. Zögern Sie nicht, zu buchen. Wir waren schon oft auf Kreta und Del Mar ist definitiv eines der besseren.

We booked last minute holiday to Crete with Tui, having seen the good ratings for Del Mar in Stalis. We weren’t disappointed with the accommodation, which is located in the centre of Stalis just off the main road running through. It’s a well appointed studio apartment, part of a modern, recently constructed block. It had a clean tidy bathroom with shower (no bath), small kitchenette with double hob, a microwave combi oven/grill, a full sized fridge with a small freezer section that kept our ice cubes frozen all week. There’s two of all crockery and cutlery, pans to cook with. Would have expected to find a chopping board, and be provided with a tea towel, but we just left our washing up to air dry. There’s a decent kettle, a toaster, an electric coffee filter machine and a sandwich toaster. In the living area, there’s a dining table, a couple of chairs, we had two single beds together to make a king size bed which we found comfortable. There’s a bedside light and drawer at each side. Our balcony wasn’t overlooked, and had a table and two chairs, there’s also a clothes airer. Maid service is daily, they do a quick clean around, make the beds (we had a mid stay linen change) towels changed every other day. Outside there’s a set of sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool for guests to use. We didn’t try the pool as it felt too cold. The bar wasn’t open at all during our stay, presumably as the apartment block wasn’t fully occupied. I believe it’s a family run business and they also own the adjacent supermarket where you collect keys and pay for extras, such as the safe (€21 per week) and Air-con (€30 per week - we didn’t use as it the temp didn’t get over 25/26°). They’re all very helpful!! October is at the very end of the season and you can tell that Stalis is just starting to wind down, but there’s plenty of Greek/Med restaurants and tavernas, loads of souvenir shops, supermarkets and more car hire shops than I’ve seen in any resort. The accommodation can be booked through tour operators, and portals such as ***********, but May be booked directly with the owners. We had a great time in our week there, and would recommend for anyone wanting a week away just to relax.

We have been coming to Stalis for 23 years and Del Mar is definitely one of the best places we have stayed. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Debi and Christos.. the rooms are well equipped and modern we would definitely stay here again

Returned from a week at Del Mar in Stalis on Friday 8th of September and had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Deppy was always available if we needed anything. The cleaner and pool/bar man worked tirelessly to ensure our stay was perfect. This place has everything required for a self catering stay. The studios are modern, spotlessly clean, and in an excellent location. I've visited Stalis for at least a week for over 20 years and stayed in numerous hotels and apartments but this tops them all. You do have to pay for the air conditioning and room safe but this is normal and expected in most properties in Stalis. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you and keep up the fantastic work you're doing.

Me and my boyfriend recently stayed at the beautiful Del Mar apartments with his family and everything about our stay was perfect. We had 3 rooms in total, 2 on the top floor and 1 on the basement level. The rooms are spacious, modern, extremely clean and the air con worked amazingly! We didn’t manage to catch the cleaners name but she did a fantastic job - especially in the intense heat! Having the owners also own the supermarket next door was extremely convenient and meant there was always someone around to help if needed. Chrisstos was the main face around the apartments, he was super helpful - running reception/the bar/making sure the pool was clean/gardener/maintenance - there wasn’t a hat he didn’t wear! He made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, which all of us are thankful for! Location of the apartments was also great, we were just off the main ***** surrounded by lots of restaurants, bars and the beach but also quiet enough that you felt away from the hustle and bustle. Overall our stay was fab and we would definitely return!

Lovely spacious modern self-catering apartments set just off the main road in the centre of Stalis. The large balcony overlooked the pool area which had plenty of sun beds and there was a small bar which sold food and drinks. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The apartment was cleaned thoroughly every day with regular changes of bedding and towels. The sunbeds were cleaned regularly and not just hosed down but thoroughly washed and the pool was regularly cleaned! The supermarket next door had everything you need. Once you come out of the apartments you can turn right or left for tavernas, shops etc and the beach was just the other side of the road behind the shops. Be prepared for the additional charge for aircon 7 euros a day, and the safety deposit box 3 euros a day, which is standard in Greece. We loved everything about these apartments and if we go back to Stalis next year we won't hesitate to book these again.

The appartment was a little too dark: only one small window in two rooms and we could see only a wall of another building thourth this wondow. So called terrace was again surrounded by walls and so called "view to the pool or sea" was possible by making some extra efforts :D. On another hand, the room was clean and when we asked to change the lamps which didn't work, it was done quickly.

On our second day in we were told by hotel management that use of the in room air conditioning unit was an additional €7 per day. We paid for a package and there was no mention of additional costs in the t&c’s. We have refused payment so our air conditioning remote has been removed from our room by management
