Understaffed, and disappointing. This was not a great hotel. From a bed that was essentially falling apart, filthy toilets, basic food which could have been poured from a can and heated up in a microwave, and an appalling lack of staff, this was a very disappointing stay. I arrived and was treated to a 35 minute wait to check in. There was no one at the desk and a que of 6 other guests waiting. 2 of the 3 digital checkin counters were out of order, and the 3rd, when I tried it, didnt work. I sat down in the empty and unstaffed bar/restaurant and watched netflix for a while ... Once checked in, the bed was comfortable enough but didnt quite sit flush with the headboard, causing things to fall down the gap, including the pillows. When I checked it was because the bed leg had been poorly gerry rig repaired (see photos). The air conditioner sounded like a freight train and I needed to turn it off it was so loud. Dinner was bland. Over salted pork, basic peas and corn from a can, really un impressive. The toilets in the dining area were FILTHY. Toilet paper, urine on the floor (see photos). Separately, I ran out of toilet paper in my own room, and reported it to reception. It was not replaced for a day until I asked again. This would (in any half decent hotel) be a high priority request ... The staff themselves were lovely ... but management clearly are cutting corners and there are no-where near enough. You could see them struggling and frustrated themselves. This is a poorly managed, under staffed hotel, and no, I wont be back.
