Vivanta Dal View

The hotel premise is just mesmerizing. All the rooms are having Dal lake view from balcony. Hotel staffs are so nice and polite. Suraj from hotel staff served us most of the time during our breakfast and dinner and ensured we are fully comfortable. I would recommend this stay.

Overlooking the famous Dal Lake, and surrounded by mountains on the other sides, this property impresses from the moment you approach it via the scenic drive up the mountain. Few hotels have as beautiful surroundings as the Taj Vivanta. Have been to this property on numerous occasions , some just to enjoy their restaurants and the views! The rooms /suites are spacious and one should definitely opt for the ones with a view of the lake. The lawns are sprawling and well maintained. The service staff is attentive and professional. It is a little slice of heaven! There are a couple of security check points right before entering the premises of the property, Ample free parking is available, including parking spots with charging stations for electric cars. The food choices for the most part are above average but nothing to rave about. Enjoy the sun-rises and sun-sets in this little heaven on earth. Breathe the freshest of air , and feel the incredible serenity and natural beauty around in this place.

The hotels location is just perfect. Mr.Iqbal at front deck was very co operative. The staff was wel trained and very caring. The food was delicious. Room was very comfy. Restaurant staff was very caring.House keeping staff was wel trained. Would definitely like to visit again

We had a wonderful time in the Hotel.The rooms are large and very comfortable. The staff is courteous.The room service excellent.Our request to change to a first floor room was dealt with promptly.The view of Dal Lake is spectacular from the balcony.However it would be nice to have a recreation room with some indoor games and a library as most of the guests are back in their rooms by evening. The railing in the balcony is too widely spaced it can lead to an accident if there are small kids. The sight of Tulip garden from the balcony was an added bonus.
