Thunderbird Resort Club

Started horrible trying to talk with Holly behind the wall. She was very rude and could care less about me checking in! I think she was on her cell phone with a friend but not sure. It took me 45 minutes to check in and was told that I was not a member!! I couldn't believe what I was hearing!! I had my paperwork to show her but couldn't because she was behind the wall! Finally I called my wife to see if she could help talk Holly into believing we were legit. The entire stay was not much better! The remote for the T.V. didn't work they said they would send someone to fix it!!! suprise.....no one showed for two days! I ended up going to the store myself to get new batteries for the remote. Went to get towels for the pool and Holly again was of no help. She told me well, you only have one more day to stay here so you should be able to figure out how to get a towel! ended up using a room towel! Don't tell Holly! The room was ok. I had to be quiet but that was easy for me to do since I was gone allot and I was by myself! Hopefully (Holly) the lady behind to wall on the T.V. is having a better week. Good luck!

Very nice place. Website said pool, hot tub & laundry closed. They were all open. We liked the two bedroom layout. Steps on the stairs were small, but manageable if you were careful.

Very disappointing. There were concerns regarding cleanliness, condition of units, and safety. The only contact we had was with someone somewhere behind a TV screen or via a phone.

If you are simply looking for a warm bed and place to land outside the city, this location is suitable. However, if this is your one vacation a year and you want to enjoy your resort, you may be disappointed. Rooms are older, amenities are minimal, and location is quiet but questionable.

Did not like having front desk over the phone, didn’t and couldn’t find our reservation, the complex next to use had been on fire and burnt, staying at someone’s apartment in a low income neighborhood! Trailer park homes across the street, didn’t feel safe for kids and family

Very clean and quiet 2 bedroom condo. We stayed for a week and absolutely loved it. The pool was closed, but still had fun with our grandkids. We will definitely choose Thunderbird Resort on our next vacation to Sparks.
