The Lux Marijani Zanzibar hotel was a DREAM ✨ The hotel getaway you never knew you needed. The hotel is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away from the airport. Upon arriving at the hotel we were warmly greeted by hospitable staff and amazing refreshments 🍹 The transition to our room was seemless thanks to our wonderful concierge Temba 👏 The room was beautifully decorated and spacious with a great view of the hotel’s private beach. It was equipped with a hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers, a kettle and a TV (with YouTube access). The hotel is perfect for couples and family alike. With an extraordinary food menu from its three restaurants. The hotel offers regular themed buffet meals ( Mexican Night/ BBQ Night) for its guests. It offers meals right around the clock: Breakfast ($35 usd), Lunch ($35 usd) & Dinner ($45 usd). There is also an option to pay from all-inclusive meal packages upon arrival. Special shout out to Chef Desi for his mouthwatering coconut delights, I will miss that the most! 😂 The hotel’s facilities also include a pool 🏊♀️ and a gym 🏋️♀️ (open from 7am-6pm). There are also various daily activities like Marco Polo, table tennis, art class, cooking class and beach volleyball to name a few. It was overall a great experience staying at the Lux Marijani Zanzibar and I would urge everyone to enjoy this experience on their own. Whether it’s dancing the night away to the music of the live band or just taking a sunset stroll on the beach. It was truly a life-changing and I highly recommend staying here. The bungalow was beautiful, thoughtfully designed with local touches, and reflected the property's strong commitment to sustainable tourism. It was spacious, comfortable, well-appointed, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The resort is design-focused and exudes a tranquil, laid-back vibe. We loved the stunning beach with its crystal-clear waters and the lush greenery surrounding the property. What impressed us most was how the resort consistently maintained a high standard in every aspect of our stay. The food was consistently excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a great variety of high-quality, flavourful dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service from the staff was outstanding. The entire Zuri team delivered impeccable hospitality. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. We can't wait to return and reconnect with some of the wonderful people who made our stay so special. Highly recommended!

Großes Hotel, die Einrichtungen sind vollständig, der Service ist vorhanden, das Meer vor dem Hotel ist auch sehr schön. Das Paket mit dem Frühstück und dem Abendessen ist besonders kostengünstig und es gibt drei kostenlose Restaurants, die ausgewählt werden können. Es gibt in der Nähe Hotels und es gibt nicht viele Hotels.

Came here to relax after trekking and safari trips and the lodge is a peaceful retreat set on the northeast side of Zanzibar. Loved the surroundings and garden is so beautiful. I picked this place as it has a dive center and it did not disappoint. The team at Dive Point Zanzibar is professional and the ratio of dive instructors / masters to visitors is 1:2 which is great. I am visiting on the shoulder season as the island is heading into low season so it is relatively quiet everywhere and I get to enjoy the full service and attention :)

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, es ist sehr ruhig, aber und scheint nicht sehr beliebt bei der Reisewahl hier. Das Zimmer war geräumig, und sauber, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das WLAN war großartig. Das Frühstück war gut. Ein paar Optionen für Getreide und Obst, Kaffee und Tee sowie für gekochte Mahlzeiten. Die Lage ist nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht erstaunlich. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel ist nicht der Hauptstrand, es gibt viele Meereswäsche, es ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entlang des Strandes bis zum schöneren Strandbereich. 20 Minuten zu Fuß entlang der Straßen. Wenn man den Preis für das, was man bekommt, denke ich, es ist überpreist, aber ehrlich gesagt, so sind alle anderen Hotels auf der Insel.

From the moment we stepped inside the reception to the time we checked out, we had the most memorable stay. The whole resort was beautifully presented, clean, luxurious and peaceful. We booked the partial sea view room and it was fabulous from all the little details inside to the private verandah outside, perfect for relaxing whilst reading a book or watching the boats go by on the sea. The infinity pool was in pristine condition, the breakfast and dinner buffet had a great selection and the Jetty restaurant was convenient for lunch too. The service all round was exceptional, everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We will be recommending Essque Zalu Zanzibar to our friends and family and are looking forward to visiting again!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Besonders die Damen der Rezeption kümmern sich um mich und die Atmosphäre ist gut. Leider sind diese Einrichtungen nur eine Art von Schmierstoff, die verwendet wird, ohne Wäschewechsel. Ich habe mich selbst genommen, so dass ich keine Unannehmlichkeiten habe.

Great hotel, but some niggles. Has safe parking, central location, nice staff, big rooms. In our first block power off virtually every night 6-9.00 pm, Did get moved and was a huge improvement. Breakfast could be a little more interesting On the whole well worth a visit 😎
