Afew of us stopped over for one night before my wedding at a venue afew miles away.
I had visited before one morning & had breakfast outside,it was a lovely sunny morning.
Our room was nice,clean,
The bed was comfy.
We had an evening meal with afew drinks,
The food was lovely & with the drinks reasonably priced.
The breakfast the morning after,included in the price of the room,was good too.
Plenty of car parking.
In a lovely quiet,stunning spot.
Will be going back soon.

Thank you to the amazing waitress and chef’s at the Alma inn, was celebrating my gran’s 100 birthday sit down meal with family and friends, they went above and beyond to make it a special night. The food was excellent as always 😊🎉😊🎉😊🎉😊

We visited the Alma for a family lunch and chose a selection of the small plates. There were some great flavours. We really enjoyed the food. The service was friendly and prompt. A great experience. The beer was also great, Timmy Taylors and Vocation.

Came for a meal as we haven’t been for a few weeks. Food good quality but disappointing menu compared to previously. Separate vegan menu has disappeared leaving just a few token vegan offerings.It was always a treat but left feeling a bit let down. Good beer and service though.

Managed to grab a last minute stay so decided to try ourselves to a cheeky night away. Arrived early afternoon for lunch then checked into our room as it was ready. Lovely nice clean spotless room. Staff superbly friendly especially Miriam and the owner. The food was superb. I had the Pepperoni pizza and my wife had the flat iron steak. They were so tasty. Garden area was a nice surprise too. Lovely in the sunshine with views to die for. Breakfast was nice too. Well be back soon guys!

We came across this place and what a find.. we rang in advance and asked if we could park overnight in the car park. Had a couple of drinks on the afternoon sitting outside in the brilliant beer garden with fantastic far reaching views. Professional barman as he chilled my glass with ice before putting the wine in. Its the little touches that make the difference. Booked a table for later that evening. Lovely restaurant area.. We chose a steak and a pie, the waitress told us there would be a 25minute wait with the pie, which was fine, as it means it is being freshly cooked. It was well worth the wait. Steak & pie were both delicious, very tasty food.. The staff were all friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend. We will come back. I would love this place as my local.

Would totally recommend this gem of an inn. Indeed, I already have to friends back home. Friendly and welcoming staff, simply furnished but tasteful, clean room and bathroom, with toiletries. Very comfortable bed. Cooked breakfast most excellent. Lovely views from carpark. Pub grub menu for evening meal. Good value ( we had evening meal, bed and breakfast rate).

Lovely accommodation, the rooms are very well finished and so clean. Outstanding food, the homemade steak and ale pie is the best I have ever tasted. All 3 breakfast we had were cooked to perfection and all cooked to order. There was even eggs Benedict & eggs Royale. The staff really make this place, always a smiling face, very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The outside garden area will be spectacular in the summer. Alma Inn is handy for exploring Hebden Bridge, Halifax and Haworth. Don’t we worrying about the noise from the bar, it was all quiet by 10.30 10.45pm. Great all round accommodation, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely little place, stayed one night with husband and friends of ours, the rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was so comfy I slept in a little later than usual, we had drinks that night in the bar and went into town for a meal, reading the food reviews for the Alma now I wish we had eaten there instead. We did have breakfast this morning which was a 10/10 absolutely lovely. The staff are welcoming attentive and very friendly, would definitely stay again
