If we could give this outstanding property a higher review we would. Truly exceptional in every way. We knew the Latch more than 30 years ago as an outstanding fine dining restaurant. Thru a series of events this unique Samuel McClure mansion sat vacant for decades. We were so very pleased to find that new Inn Keepers, David and Michael, have gone to great efforts to restore this historic residence to its former glory. I don’t know how you would describe the attention to detail and interior decorating excellence, every where you look it speaks class and elegance while at the same time wrapping you in a warm and cozy atmosphere. It is everything you would imagine and hope for at a heritage country inn. On arrival, we received a very warm welcome from Innkeeper, David. Our guest room was elegantly appointed while remaining true to its historic grandeur. The sitting room with beautiful Christmas decorations and the fireplace going made you want to cozy up for a long stay and read a book. After a good night’s sleep we went to the beautifully set dining room. Our fabulous breakfast began with a delicious “Latch” bite muffin, we chose Eggs Benedict from a nice selection of breakfast entrees. Our breakfast arrived perfectly prepared and beautifully presented, a true gourmet treat. Our treat night out exceeded all of our expectations, we can hardly wait to return!

Der erste Eindruck ist, dass das Hotel vorbei ist es best und sicherlich für eine große Überarbeitung, die Rezeption ist ziemlich dumm, obwohl jeder Mitarbeiter sehr persönlich und freundlich war. Hallways zeigen auch Zeichen von Trage und Tränen, verfärbte Teppiche und gefärbte Gemälde. Ein Zeichen, dass man nicht schmutzige Boots im Hotel tragen sollte, könnte ein Anzeichen für ein Problem mit einigen Gästen sein? Gutes Größenzimmer, wieder ein paar Farben auf dem Teppich, schön, eine Küche mit Koch, Kühlschrank und Kaufmann. Es gibt einen guten Supermarkt nebenan, wenn Sie selbst zu verpflegn wollen oder Sie können einen 20% Rabatt im nahe gelegenen pub. Bett komfortabel und sauber, in der Tat hatte ich eine tolle Nachtsenkung. Inklusive „kontinental Frühstück“ wird in einem Zimmer im Grundstück serviert. Eingeschränkte Wahl, aber ausreichend. Insgesamt ist eine komfortable Übernachtung für den Flughafen angemessen, auch wenn nicht unbedingt gut für Geld.
