A great hotel to stay in, to split a journey up. We used this as a base to explore surrounding places. The staff really made the difference at this hotel. Welcoming, friendly and helpful, making you feel at ease. Quiet room, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Nice Brewers Fayre attached, with a seperate soft play area (won't disturb diners without children). Can get busy but the hotel more than happy to book a table for you. Only slight negative - no air conditioning. A fan was provided in the room in arrival without being requested, but on a very hot day, didn't help as much as aircon would have done.

A overnight stay breaking up a journey from Dorset to the North -East. Well up to PremierInn standard, nice room , pleasant staff greeting. Next to Junction 28 of M1. Just a bit expensive at £103 for an overnight stay, without food, especially when compared to the £69 we paid to the Express by Holiday Inn at Droitwich , which included breakfast, on the way down to the South-West.

I chose a weekend away to get away from life's struggle. Well I arrived at the hotel and welcomed by Libby who made me feel relaxed and was very quick at checking me in. No matter what staff you spoke to they made you their priority and nothing was to much trouble. I would like to say well done to Libby, Mandy and Lily you are a real asset to the company. Had a great stay and I highly recommend a visit

I was delighted with my stay a Mansfield. When I originally booked, it was to be close to National Trust properties that I wanted to visit. I wasn't really expecting the service you would expect in a private establishment.. How wrong I was! The service we received was first class. Without exception, the staff were wonderful. They always had a friendly smile, warm greeting, friendly but also respectful and polite and very helpful. They really made our stay an absolute joy. I would happily go back of recommend this hotel.

A really pleasant stay at this hotel. Room was beautifully clean, and bed so comfortable. Staff too were very pleasant. The added bonus is being able to have a cracking breakfast at the Brewers Fayre which adjoins this accommodation. Breakfast was £10.99 for all you can eat and our one night stay at the Premier Inn at £56 was fantastic value. Highly recommend.

Initial view showed the place deteriorating and needed painting outside, but inside, very welcoming, clean and everything needed from a middle price accommodation. Staff very polite and helpful and friendly.

Restaurant experience was OK. although the staff seemed a bit to busy to pay attention to good service. Food was a bit average in it's presentation. Room was clean and to normal standard............................................................

The staff were all really welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely, and the shower was lovely and hot which is an important factor for me. Provided the perfect place to crash after attending a wedding. I also have a dairy intolerance (not life threatening) and the staff next door were fantastic at providing me with an allergen friendly meal, freshly made to ensure it was safe for me to eat without being unwell.
